Life is precious And so are relationships Remember, gentle is the way When you walk with another There is much you do not know You never know the hidden truths For some wounds are deep and invisible. So walk gently, care sincerely live lovingly
Life with all its complexities and contrasts creates a necessity to chalk out ways to make young impressionable minds better equipped to handle its exigencies. Holistic education is so much about grounding in connectedness as much as it is about intuitive understanding that, harmony in the mind body connection is a way of life and living.
An education in empathic behavior becomes paramount in a materialistic world. A lot of misconception about empathy needs clarification.
Empathy is seeing with another, listening to another acknowledging them as they are, in a nonjudgmental space and being with another sensing the feelings and caring to reach out with support through words action and deeds …
Empathy can be sensed in a touch a nod or a smile or in the simplicity of silence, doing nothing but just being there ….
Empathy is a sharing, a feeling, a bonding, a being, a seeing, a sensing, a trusting and believing in hope, in faith, in life and grace.
Empathy is about caring, as a way of being. Empathy is not always about bearing the suffering and sensing another’s pain or being in a state of sorrow or pain. There can arise great empathy when dancing together or in a classroom environment where the teacher feels one with the student’s frame of mind and speaks to address that … or hearing or performing a song or play together with unbridled sense of bonding and enthusiasm. This empathy can be reflected time and time again in striving to consciously stay aware of the mutually creative fulfillment it brings to our lives. Positive benefits of empathy can become a mirror to gradually inducing greater empathic behavior in our lives towards ourselves and others.
Our movements have the power to change our moods, as much as our thoughts can bring a change in our way of being. It doesn’t matter who believes in your empathic way of life, what matters is you believe in it yourself. And that is the first step in making a positive difference. When there is an empathy in action, it is mirrored in our minds to create, generate loving and caring thoughts as a response to the action.
Every empathic thought finds its way into expression thoughts words or deeds creatively. With increasing empathic thought and action there is unknowingly a connectedness, valuing the interdependence in this web of life and living as a way of being.
Darkness and Light are part of the same universe.
They come and go as if on contract
Light appears when the night unveils itself
Night appears when the light is overshadowed by the dark.
But in utter darkness comes the necessity of light
In burning light of the sun arises the need for cooling shade.
Both are cyclical in nature
Each a playing their part in the circle of life.
Sharing a thought provoking read I came across today.
*Die empty*
The most beautiful book to read is “Die Empty” by Todd Henry.
The author was inspired and got this idea of writing this book while attending a business meeting.
When the director asked the audience: “Where is the richest land in the world?”
One of the audience answered: “Oil-rich Gulf states.”
Another added: “Diamond mines in Africa.”
Then the director said: “No it is the cemetery. Yes, it is the richest land in the world, because millions of people have departed/died and they carried many valuable ideas that did not come to light nor benefit others. It is all in the cemetery where they are buried.”
Inspired by this answer, Todd Henry wrote his book, “Die empty” where he did his best to motivate people to pour out their ideas and potential energies in their communities and turn them into something useful before it is too late.
The most beautiful of what he said in his book is: “Do not go to your grave and carry inside you the best that you have.
*Always choose to die empty.*
The TRUE meaning of this expression, is to die empty of all the goodness that is within you. Deliver it to the world, before you leave.
If you have an idea perform it.
If you have knowledge give it out.
If you have a goal achieve it.
Love, share and distribute, do not keep it inside.
Let’s begin to give. Remove and spread every atom of goodness inside us.
Start the race.
*Die Empty*😊💐
I choose to share this because who knows how it may touch another’s life.
There is much wisdom in choosing to give out as we live life .
Climate crisis
No longer subtle
The reality is stark
Glaring and in the face
No longer just an article in the paper
That you can turn the page over.
The repurcursions of indifference
And ignorance is felt the world over.
Raging tides of tsunami
Fury of volcanic eruptions
Massive magnitude of earthquakes
Melting glaciers and the undercurrents
Flooding & famines everywhere
Vast barren lands devoid of green
Earth is bleeding profusely
And bursting at its seams.
Pollution to overpopulation
Indiscriminate urbanisation
Depleting forestcovers
Extinction of rare species
Man is no longer human.
Apathy is the new name of humanity.
Where does the human think he can go?
There is no place other than this earth
Our home is invaded encroached & overloaded by us.
It is on a self balancing mode
As of now, to align itself.
The sooner we stop taking this world
For granted the better is our future.
Lets us please remember our every move
Makes a difference.
Lets aim to be responsible be respectful
Be aware and take care!

The above clip is my dedication to my dear mother. They are a compilation from her own set of artworks dated around 55 years back in time or more.
The reason I share this is to encourage people to see possibilities in creativity and how it can soulfully connect us all, through creative enrichments.
To give you the background…my mother had and still has a fine sense of design and her drawings always had an artistic flow. But unfortunately the daily grind of life and living took its toll and art and creativity was pushed into the background perhaps not realizing the innate talents. But the truth is, a lot happens in appreciation than in indifference.
So her skills were lying untapped and unrecognized. In time as I grew up and while on a visit to my maternal grandparents home in the village, I chanced upon her collection of drawings and paintings stacked in the attic gathering dust in complete ignorance.
The moment I saw them I knew they have to be brought out to see the light of the day… although sadly it was personally disheartening, to see many of the beautiful pieces made on paper, crackling and crumbling in time.
I brought them back with me to the city and took pictures of what was left of it and tried to salvage it piecing them together.
By then I was encouraged by friends and relatives who saw and deeply appreciated them too.
I hit upon the idea of creating a video clip using technology to enhance her original design sense. Yes, they are not as good as her original artworks, for technology is way too perfect to bring out the joy of uniqueness in the human hand.
Yet it is my humble attempt to value the time spent in creating by her own hand with the limitations of the resources available to her in those times.
There are far too many paintings, so I pieced them like a kaleidoscope of sorts to get a sense of her artistic endeavours.
Many times we fail to see the hidden talents in our loved ones. We relate with them for years and hardly know the depth of who they truly are.
Art has a way of bringing out the brilliance of the light within us by bridging gaps in our understandings but also opening new perspectives of thinking.
Today is the day I was born, and one of the ways I choose to celebrate it, is by dedicating this post to my dear mother Anjana.
Thank you, mom, for the beauty you create, being who you are! God bless.
Whenever we are able to see beyond the visible characteristics and understand the reason why a person behaves the way they do, we are attuning ourselves to the divinity in and around us…
My Dedication in Celebration of the World Kindness Day yesterday.
Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love. – LAO-TZU
Such profound words of wisdom from the great master Lao Tzu!
Always believe that when you share kindness with another, more kindness springs up, whether it’s in your thoughts, in your deeds, or in stillness too. Whenever you give with a compassionate heart and the receiver accepts with gratitude and appreciation, you have both made a foray, knowingly or unknowingly, into the dimension of empathic living.
There is a great abundance of learning to share.
Learning is never limited, it is endless and ever regenerating in itself. What I perceive to understand and to confidently and gratefully share with the world in my unique way, will in itself become known in the hearts of the ones I shared it with. This is the power of positive change. They will eventually distribute their own interpretation of that knowledge in their own creative way with another, and so on.
Then the incredible happens! With every distribution, there will be depth and dimensions a new, which in turn will pave the path for greater clarity and wisdom. However, the choice of walking the path is one’s own!
When one person shares from the heart, the result is always a regeneration of trust, confidence, and love in abundance.
With increasing love, there is a decrease of needs, and with that, there is greater contentment and fulfillment.
A few things to keep in mind are:
Share without motive.
Share without ego.
Share with gratitude.
The ones who bestow with acceptance writ in their hearts are the ones who know the value of letting go to reap its rewards.
Rewards that cannot be measured by time or days, as they abound in the infinite wisdom; a circle of conscious connections.
Your body is a temple, but only if you treat it as one.” ~Astrid Alauda
The thoughts we think…
The nature of our thoughts, our choices of food intake and nutrition for sustenance, our associations and our activities and our rest patterns are all interconnected in the conversion of energy to conscious awareness.
The mind and body connection is prevalent and the signs of repeating patterns of stress show significantly on our bodies in time
Alteration is a process of transformation that can be gradual, tiring and taxing to lead and follow. For example to rid the body of a chronic condition the behavioural patterns that created it in the first place are rooted in the system and hence to nudge a root one needs to work the underlying layers of emotions that associate and accumulate and elevate the conditions of its existence and growth.
The cleansing process is then definitely natural and non-invasive. A supportive and strength giving initiative would be ideal as alternatives to follow.
Alternative natural cures are best environments to work towards in treatment and eradication of root cause than just attacking the symptoms.
The part can never be well unless the whole is well.” ~Plato
The wisdom is in our observation of our own pattern of being as we are, as we behave and feel.
The thought reflections getting imprinted on the body and our ability to intervene are both significant. So to significantly alter the nature of our existence we need to be present in the now.
A few thoughts…
Thoughts come and go but the choice of what to steer it towards rests with us.
Our positive orientated thoughts are our bridge to transform ourselves for the better.
They are available to link ourselves and connect with our deepest truth.
Every interlink in positivity is a step towards personal transformation as much as the power of spreading expansive goodwill and wellness into nature.
