Meets the river
The river meets the sea

But what if we realize
The bumps and boulders
That come in our path
Are the pathways for clarity
They are the kind of roads
We have to pass through
To become who we are.
Everything has a reason
Nothing is accidental
So next time you find

The concept of having space
Between things is a wisdom
A wisdom that creates balance.
Between thoughts
Between words.
Between songs are silent spaces
Between breaths exist space that bridges the inhale and exhale.
Between life
Be it trees , flowers or animals
Space allows it to grow…
Between people
Space allows for freedom to be to express and share
Boundaries create respect and safety
Creating healthy relationships.
Allowing for rest and regenerate
With peace of mind, body and spirit.
A question then arises…
How much space do you need
To protect your peace?
And how much space do you give
To sustain the peace?

For it often lose their sheen
Choose consistency over hype
It makes a mark in time.
What shines today
May become dull tommorow
What perseveres every day
May turn reliable in the long run .
Chase not, the loudest proclaims
It often ends up as a whimper
Choose the steadiness of approach
That often becomes substantial.
Chase not, the charmer
They often turn out fake.
To smile without heartbreak
Choose the one with humor…
And keep humor alive in your heart…

Are you hardened and toughened by it ?
Or are you more humane, compassionate and gentler as a human after the storm ?
It all depends on you
And how you choose to perceive it.
Perhaps the storm teaches you to steel the self
And create a self preservation shield from such experiences.
On the other hand it could make you more alive to life and the preciousness of now.
As you choose to live and love the life you have left than simply exist in the moments. ✨️

This post actually was inspired by a comment from my dear friend on WordPress over the years and most of all, a truly empowered and brilliant author Maggie Watson.
Her comment made me stop and think of how much even a mention of the word,’ Storm’ can conjure up. And how much those who have survived it may be feeling … each of these bravehearts may have a different tale to tell.
Yet the truth is their heart beats to the preciousness of this now.
