Why does our brain become immediately choosy, including some as ours and excluding some as others?
What makes some our type?
When we meet and connect with a new face, what is it that immediately draws or repels?
Is there more to it, than first impressions, communication skills or body language?
Does our brain genetically program itself to select on auto pilot?
For we often classify and categorize subconsciously as a way of choices we make.
Who is our tribe? Who is outside ? We are hardwired With the safety metric.
Our mirror neurons simulate emotional states of being in others we meet.
When inner rhythm sense resonance there is a instant vibe aligning us in a circle of unsaid understanding.
Such pattern recognition is primitive, a tool for survival for flagging safe and unsafe connection.
A lot happens in a split second … A combination of sorting Processing the past connects Sensing and interpreting Gut feeling & intuition Simplifying complex somatic movements markers. In recognizing the effortless ease and comfort Or the discord that creates repulsion.
What’s different about you, after the storm ? Are you hardened and toughened by it ? Or are you more humane, compassionate and gentler as a human after the storm ?
It all depends on you And how you choose to perceive it.
Perhaps the storm teaches you to steel the self
And create a self preservation shield from such experiences.
On the other hand it could make you more alive to life and the preciousness of now.
As you choose to live and love the life you have left than simply exist in the moments. ✨️

This post actually was inspired by a comment from my dear friend on WordPress over the years and most of all, a truly empowered and brilliant author Maggie Watson.
Her comment made me stop and think of how much even a mention of the word,’ Storm’ can conjure up. And how much those who have survived it may be feeling … each of these bravehearts may have a different tale to tell.
Yet the truth is their heart beats to the preciousness of this now.
How far have we come From the many versions of ourselves In this river of time Where like water, that flows onwards Time can never be visited backwards… Only in memories Held within the hearts & minds Reminding us of the paths traveled in time.
Life continues to evolve in every now.
As life flows on …
Colouring itself
Along the way.
I share this above digital artwork here from back in time…when AI prompting and image creation was very nascent.
When was the last time you felt the charismatic power of calm?
What does calm feel like to you in this moment?
What is the distance between you and your sense of serenity?
Where and how do you think you can find your center?
A Note on the Dawn
My morning moments hold a precious tranquility for me. I choose the dawn to set my intention for the day ahead. In the quiet moments before the world wakes, I find my creative state of flow. Although I strive to connect with this peace throughout the day, the energy of the early morning resonates most deeply. It sets the tone for everything that follows.
Crossing over Bridges of time Beginning to end Ending to begin again In body spirit & souls Infinite forms of expressions Between betwixt & beyond Bonding new & old In part & whole Tuning into the sounds Of harmony & rhythm Inexplicable joys Of moments in movements As paths are splayed Across time to tide over In every moment The choice is yours to take.
Have written many times earlier on rootedness on grounding on awareness. But today, I share another perspective on the strength of rooting for self growth and transformation.
Self growth needs committed perseverance, patience and passion for continuous improvement. That is how the human race evolves .To root is to help grow and evolve .
While poetically speaking, or at theoretical physics, all of life is interconnected
Have you felt like you are strained, exhausted to the point of emptiness?
Have you reached a point of burnout with visible signs of overwhelm?
Have you sensed the strong pull from various directions?
Some from strings you have given yourself a connection to.
Some of which, you are innately connected since you were born.
Do you feel the pressure and need to resist some strings
And have you noticed how you are managing it all?
Have you been able to live your life at all or just simply existing or day to another?
Time for some thought in this direction…
Sharing a thoughtworthy quote from my readings this morning.
“We have a tendency to put ourselves last. We concentrate on everything else; work, friends, family, home issues, but we ignore the deeper stuff until it becomes so compressed that it can explode.” Cecelia Ahem
I ❤️ it for it is a great reminder for all of us.
Self care needs to be considered as a priority practice rather than just a once in a while thing you do.
If we truly care to check in, we can catch the many signs & signals through which our body is already communicating to us.. And how we are dealing with it all.
While being connected is great, we all need some space for reflection. A space to grow from awe and wonder.
A space for stillness in spite of the movements.
Some moments to gather ourselves from where we are to reset ourselves.
