Live Life Lovingly!

Just another tree?

Roads of Goa

Don’t know you

How you live and breathe

In these nondescript pathway.

Yet here you are

Vividly present

Colouring the blue sky

With blossoms of contrasts.

Mature trunk and verdant   leaves

You strike a pose

You hold a  stance

In your unique way.

I see you dear tree

Grateful for your being

For you nurtured many lives

Seen many a solar cycles.

I bless you with all my heart

For healing this world…

For the world may be

You are just another tree

For me you live vibrantly

Evergreen in my memories.

A sight to behold

A vision to thank

In recognition and  gratitude

For your impactful presence🙏

A trip down memory lane.

An unexpected yet beautiful burst of colour contrasting the bright blue sky  prompted me to click a photo in a split second, enroute a road trip to Goa a few years ago…

P.S.

Sharing some amazing facts about the positive ecological impacts from one fully mature tree, that I came across.

Key Environmental & Ecological Impacts

  • Natural Climate Control: Through evapotranspiration and shade, one healthy mature tree provides a net cooling effect equal to 10 room-sized air conditioners running 20 hours a day. This can lower local microclimate temperatures by up to 3°F–5°F.
  • Carbon Vault: A single tree absorbs roughly 48 pounds (22 kg) of CO₂ per year. Over a 40-year lifespan, it locks away nearly 1 metric ton of atmospheric carbon in its trunk, roots, and surrounding soil.
  • Oxygen Generation: One fully grown, leafy tree generates enough net oxygen per year to sustain 2 to 4 human beings.
  • Hydrological Shield: A single mature canopy can intercept and soak up 2,300 gallons of stormwater runoff per year. Its root network stabilizes topsoil against erosion while filtering heavy metals and synthetic pollutants before water enters local aquifers.
  • Air Filtration: Leaves and bark actively trap particulate matter (PM2.5) while absorbing gaseous pollutants such as nitrogen dioxide, ground-level ozone, and sulfur dioxide—removing dozens of pounds of air pollutants annually.
  • Biodiversity Anchor: A single native tree (such as an oak) can support over 500 distinct species of insects, birds, mosses, and beneficial microorganisms, functioning as a self-contained ecosystem.

That I am fond of trees is nothing new… I have written many verses on trees before as well, yet in here I share a message close to my heart…

Nurture nature Nurture trees.

You are doing an important  service to help support self sustaining powerhouse of oxygen to our planet.

Look at the sky

Look up

The same sky that brought the storm

Brings forth the sunshine

What more proof do you need,

To trust that it will soon change?

Whatever it is,

Better times are around the bend.

Heartbeats

Storms rage and ravage

They lay waste the efforts

And destruct many a lives.

Yet they rise, only to fall

When the storm subsides

The world picks up the pieces

Of the then and now…

To build again in hope

That tommorow is another new day.

But storms that pass, often leave imprints;

Of traumas in those testing times

Of  fear in the back of the mind.

They appear in dreams

Almost as if it is reality.

They create confusion in the sanest of times

But when the heart knows

That fear is just the mind

Playing its tricks again.

It becomes brave

And continues to beat stronger

And life dances to its beats…

For it has survived the storm.

Rest all is history 💙

Storms have a way of playing with our life even when they  have long subsided.
The brewing storm in our  thoughts and dreams  may seem fearful  yet they also bring perspective to empower ourselves.

I write these verses inspired by  the reading the title and verses of this poem, this morning. Thank you 🙏   poeticmobility.

And the image here is from  my  Ai artwork collections, for I  somehow feel it belongs here as well.

I leave a question  here for you to reflect upon…

Every life has survived its own share of storms

Leaving much wisdom in the learnings  behind.

What lesson has your heart learned after the storm?

Dawn paints the day

An interesting  dawn

I woke up earlier than dawn today.

And positioned myself in my favorite space

To watch the glorious dawn

Before I could realise

A bright orange ball

Just popped up over the horizon…

It was as if the sun was in a hurry

To awaken the world & light  the day.

As I just began to ease into the brilliance …

I saw the corner of the sun

Disappearing  into the blanket of clouds

Looming large, to dull the senses once more…

The light is hidden now

From plain sight.

Do know the sun is up

There may be a lull in the now

But darkness is a passing cloud

Think of it, as moments to pause

In patience for light is on the other side

Awaiting its turn to light up your day.

And yes, before I could pen these words here…

The light of dawn paints the day.

Find your space

If you ever find yourself belittled, unable to express  yourself because you are stifled;

Remember…not to shrink.

Trust in your self.

Know there is always a space for you that allows you to grow and evolve

You and your presence matters.

Find your space.

Love & Peace

As you go through daily life.

Just care to remind yourself

That you are being watched over

And cared for…

This simple habit will bring you immense peace.

And you will transmit universal love.

Peace be with you.

Umbrella of Grace

Magnanimous grace

Of the divine infinite,

Blessings flow in its presence.

In this ocean of abundance,

Stay still in the tremors.

Keep the faith

In every moment..

Let go of fear & worry.

Know you have the universe

Within, with & around you.

The Quality Of The Spirit

You are not defined

By riches or possessions.

You are defined

By the attitude you carry.

Anchored in faith

No matter the storm.

You are defined

By the energy you emanate…

In the choices you make,

In the decisions  you take.

Way beyond circumstances.

It is a quality of the spirit.

Greater the refinement,

Greater the grace.

A question  in reflection…

When the world outside gets chaotic, what is that within you that keeps you anchored?

Dawning

When did you last look up and noticed a dawn?

Have u seen the morning dawn, fill up in the sky?
How the light
Waltzes in…

Have you witnessed the first flight of birds winging
their way into the day…

Have you seen the rising sun warming its way into the brilliance of the day…

Have you listened to the chirping of birds announcing the joy of dawn…

Have you sensed how the cold of the night warms itself in minutes into the day…
Have you felt the energy of the rays on you filling you with warmth…

The message in every dawn is hope giving
To rise with it and rest with it is the magic of it all.
Flow into your day with joy and trust the light to show you the way…

Listen to this episode ‘The Quiet Persistence’ inspired by my poem above on my podcast The Path of Clarity.

Inch closer

Whatever it is, the wisdom that changed you,

Will one day make you give away, what it taught you.

Your’ Personal Growth ‘lies in these moments of your receiving and giving.

For then you are evolving and  fine tuning yourself under the guidance  of divine intervention.

Trust your journey.

Listen to intuitive self

As it speaks from the depth of  your souls calling and knowing.

And remember through it all, every step of the way, you are inching closer to your true purpose.

In & around

The more I explore

The mystique of  space

The more I am in touch

Of my ground of earth.

In mindfulness I root myself

So that my thoughts find stillness

The more I search afar

The closer I am home.

All is within

In and around

Ocean of Abundance

Think of grace

As in everything

In life and living

Ask for blessings

In health & prosperity

In this now & future

Invoke the divine

Who holds it all

In an ocean of abundance

With all your heart

In supreme trust.

In the letting go

You step out of your own way

And let the abundance in

For grace is infinite

And the ocean of abundance

Is all heart.

Let’s just be

Lovely lines that resonate with me deeply…

We must become bigger than we have been: more courageous, greater in spirit, larger in outlook. We must become members of a new race, overcoming petty prejudice, owing our ultimate allegiance not to nations but to our fellow men within the human community.
Haile Selassie

A few contemplations on the same lines…

Lets envision

Beyond borders

Marked on maps

Of human existence

To know we are far more

Than our notions & judgement

We are lifes assertions

In hope & faith

Of the expansive infinite

Thats inclusive of one & all

That every life on earth

Has a purpose & reason to be

Lets acknowledge

This truth of being humane

Than just human.

And beyond all that we must

Do and say in life & living

Let’s just be …
