Our education leaves much room for improvement.
But consider these questions for a moment…
Why do you learn what you learn?
Ideally you learn because you are curious to know more and not because you have to finish a degree.
What is the reason for the learning?
Earlier at least in India the aspirations of parents were the reason of choice of what the course of learning would be . The options were limited and no one bothered to check whether the education even resonated with the learners.
How does it make you feel?
Have seen many sensing disconnect as they are pursuing careers in fields which have no connection with their earlier Education.
What way do you apply or use your learnings?
Often most of our prevalent education systems seems very transactional with marks and percentages with the purpose having no significance.
However degrees become meaningless if you do not use your learnings to make a positive difference.
I believe to learn is to share and to share is to learn some more.
When you realize how much you already have
You begin to sense true Contentment
Your needs become simplified
And your wants begin to make less sense
Your awareness increases
In tuning into receptivity and acceptance
Your life becomes substantially richer
In experiencing the joy of being content.
Realization begins to make an impactful difference
And you begin to value and respect
Your life and the living.
You are given an opportunity to travel to beautiful locales on work or pleasure ,in a country so far away from your own
Everything is wonderful and picturesque…
Yet, you are traveling along with people/ or paired with a person of completely different interests.
If you are a morning person and they are late risers
If you like walking and they like to rest more.
If you like to explore museums and art scenes and they have no interest in anything art
If you want to experience new culture by meeting new people and connecting with them than simply trying out food .
What if you want quick bites on the go and they like fancy dining experiences.
What if you want to start early and you are exasperated as they prefer late afternoon after a lazy lunch…
What if you are up and ready to go and they take a really long time to get ready 🤔
You like to capture experiences and rejoice in the memories and they have no particular interest in photography.
When you like to have a conversation freely and they are too busy or too silent, you often realise its better to remain silent unless spoken to even if there is company.
What would you do …
You make things right for you!
Let’s see, it’s not all that bad
You are in a new location….
You realise its better to have some company than traveling alone in some places at least.
You begin to appreciate the environment and yourself in it.
You appreciate others who are around.
You pay extra interest in people and places, the quirkiest, even the strangest and most peculiar things as much as the ordinary seem to matter somehow.
You try to find happiness in whatever you see.
You adapt to things as it comes.
You accept everything, as your life’s myriad moments.
You remember to focus on the positives acknowledge the good in them and move on…
Happiness is in you!
Tommorow is another new day!
You can intend for change
But you cannot force it.
Your message is best understood
In empathic connection.
Do your best
Sow the seeds in hope
Let the best happen in time.
Let it flow…
In the forward path…
Between anxiety to acceptance
Between doubt & enthusiasm
Between denial to acknowledgement
Between confusion to creativity
Between resistance to energy
Between fear & hope
There is many circles of transitions
To reorient to the changing times
In it is an exploration of possibilities
To move on the path forward.
And constant is the circles of Change.
Decision is often the difference between greatness and mediocrity. In every man’s life there comes a time when he must search for a cause, a work, an ideal to which he can give himself. Whether he says ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to the challenge will determine his future.”
Taking any difficult decision
Without sitting on the fence
Is not always easy
For it may take all of you
More than what you are ready to commit at times
And yet its liberating
Once you have a decision made
For there is clarity in thoughts
To set things in motion
Leading you to your purpose.
Do what you do
With all of you
The results start to show
In ways unimaginable
For the power of you
Is understood then
In the moment of truth
Making the impossibles possible
Such is truth of life.
So do all that you do
With the best of you
Where we look
What we focus on
What we wish to see
What we decipher
What matters to us
And what we finally choose…
Perhaps there is more to our choices.
Our deep rooted beliefs and biases might have a role to play in the words we choose…
Perhaps the words are not so random after all.
What are your top five words that stood out for you?
Do share them here!
And think if these words truly have any particular significance in this moment for you.
Perhaps what seems random
Is not so random after all!
Success follows the action
In intention to completion
In engagement to fulfillment
In planning to execution
In confusion to clarity
Simply dreaming is not enough
Simply thinking is not enough
Simply wanting is not enough
Success follows the passion
Success follows perseverance
Success follows patience
Yet success doesn’t just come.
You go to it
And make it happen.
Success demands effort from you
And consistently so!
Soon you will find yourself
Staring at success right in the eyes
A fond reminisce
A moment in time
A community of dancers
A representation of artists
Of myriad dance forms.
Of different nations
A communion of cultures
Beautiful memories ❤
And feel this alive!
Stress we all have
Some days less or more
But how we see our stress
Makes all the difference
Let’s channel it to matter less
Find ways to ease the self
And create a positive vibe
That makes life and living
And stay too blessed
To be stressed.
Just having the courage to express ourselves, we open ourselves to a vulnerable and creative self that is the light in us shining through….:)
