Thankful for Dance

The one who doesn’t have a car dreams, while the one who has one is always looking for a better one. The key is to be grateful, look carefully at what we have and understand that somewhere, someone would give everything for what you already have and don’t appreciate.”

Simply imagine the infinite power of possibilities of the soul. And the pinnacle and the depths of infinite potential .The greatest depths is of the soul within… a spark of the divine!
Journey within :
As one deepens the focus in the inward journey of awareness, greater empathy is felt for the world outside , and when the focus is towards the outer materialistic world the focus turns towards being more self centered than self aware.

Handling Difficult People
If ever you are in a position where you are hurt and helpless and want to help yourself out of this situation check on your own behavior
Are you speaking and sharing more than you should?
Are you over explaining and try to match up to anothers expectations and not valuing your own strengths?
Are you defending yourself when the other person refuses to understand anothers perspective?
Are you too sensitive and taking things personally when actually the source of the issues or the problem is not you at all?
Often it is self awareness that is the first step towards bettering your life.
A self check to see your reactions is definitely a way to improving how you handle and manage difficult people in life.
Tbe way to make life favorable to you , is in living as if all is rigged in your favor.

Awakening the senses
A scent that calls in a deeper breath…while savoring the sensation…
‘Petrichor’ is one of the fragrances that is earthy yet divine to me . There is something grounding and yet ethereal in its ephemeral smell. Taking me to places and spaces I cannot fathom, yet moves me.Evoking emotions in the memories and invoking pleasant feelings of playing in the fields following the first rain. I am also reminded of green woody forests,with tall trees, where the air is pristine and pure.
I sense the freshness of first rain on earth in its smell enveloping me. Just a whiff and it transports me to many realms of my own being, as it invigourates me.
I can never stop appreciating it… and can never have enough of it.

Travel On…
I wrote this poem back in time after an unexpected opportunity to travel set me off across exploring unforgettable places and spaces on my own.
Yesterday as I was conversing with one of my earlier dance student and friend now, he somehow reminded me of this poem again , as he has been traveling the length and breadth of India on a bike, covering over 80% of India.
While I wait to see his photo shares and hear more from him about his experience in the journey.
Thought of sharing my verses again.
Travel On
If you are given an opportunity to take a journey
Take it, for you meet many versions of you.
Along the road.
Some you cherish, some cherish you.
Some that change you and some that you change.
Fear not the travel or the traveling…
For one thing is certain
You come away enriched and wiser in every journey.
Travel to liberate yourself
From self assumed notions
To see the light on the other side
There is much to unlearn and unbox
As you travel yield in to the insights
Travel every once in a while if opportunity arises,
Take the chance,
You are richer in your explorations much as your experiences.

Spirit of Freedom
In the Spirit of Freedom…
May we always dance, the dance of independence and freedom.
May we tune ourselves to connect with joys in tandem.
May we always remember and value great souls lost in martyrdom.
May we continue to prosper and thrive.
May we acknowledge that the strength in the interdependence is never random.
May we always respect our roots and learn to follow our inner wisdom.
