A guest for just a single day

Who better than this bloom

Gracing my garden today

To teach the truths of life.

Of living life lovingly

Garnering the wisdom of changes

Of impermenance

Its petals. proud & present

In this precious now.

Without worries of tommorow

So much dignity in its beauty.

Perhaps it understands

Transience of nature 

In the phases of life

Only too well.

While it blooms  in peace.
