Live Life Lovingly!

All is a part of life!

Here is share of my mothers reflections after reading my yesterday’s poem

Light after dawn

Every example stood out for me and I just had to share .. with some pictures for the same and a title.

“A seed has to undergo so much to come out of the earth with new shoots of tender leaves

Gold nuggets have to undergo much before they become beautiful ornaments

Raw diamonds and precious stones have to undergo much to get their brilliance .

A mother has to undergo so much before the birth of a wonderful life.

A rock and tree have to so much undergo before they become priceless sculptures

All things of Nature have to go through a lot of transformations before a finer end product emerges.

Never fear the blow of the hammer, the cutting of the axe, the heat of the burning fire or the hurts, pains and insults one has to bear as each blow makes them stronger, shapes them to what they are going to become. Gives them more power, value and a beautiful form.

Keep smiling. The smile and silence can unsettle the opponent.

Make each experience as a stepping stone to rise high,

A lesson to learn, to mould you to become a better, stronger, mature, independent and fearless as a person than before.

Remember there is dawn after every dusk.

Yes, your transformation will be hard. Yes, you will feel frightened, messed up and knocked down. Yes, you’ll want to stop. Yes, it’s the best work you’ll ever do.

Silence Speaks

What is Silence?

Silence is poetry in unspoken prose

Silence is a dance in stillness to soundless music.

Silence is a hush beyond the din.

Silence is a projection of inner bliss.

Silence is a prayer in its loudest form

Silence leads and the path appears.

Trust the lessons learned in silence.

Her likes were not blatant and loud —

Not the one to shout out.

Her kind of songs were of melody and rhythm,

In sync with her heartbeat.

Her type of books were all of an understanding,

The soothing and sagacious kind,

Of healing and harmony.

Her friends were far and few.

Not much would escape her lips;

Her speech was guarded.

None had really stepped into her inner world.

In fact, her family too knew little about her.

Her words were simple, not stormy.

In fact, she chose the middle path in life —

A road safe and steady.

Not for her the bane of fame and fortune;

Not for her the choppy waters of high tides.

She preferred smooth sailing in serenity.

She was a lover of grace in simple things.

She never was the seeking kind.

Neither love nor laurels, pleasures nor pain,

She lived a life of content.

She never craved too much.

She knew the price of desire only too well.

Awakening the self, the way bearer in the wisdom of living.

Want of wealth never brings balance of needs.

Hoard nothing and healing begins.

Living intentionally is not about living selfishly.

She was privy to the clasping clutch that ambition brought.

She witnessed the sacrifice of lives barely lived.

She grew in the unfolding drama that power portrayed.

She was torched by emotional upheavals, but she rose in fortitude.

She amassed the wisdom in the power of silence.

As she knew and sensed the peace in the middle path.

Who is she?

What makes her who she is?

What guides and motivates her?

What brings her peace and contentment?

What makes her grateful?

To every evolving question, there is always a reason to be.

And to each their own path to be!

Life is how you live it. (Part2)

Infinite moments are meant to happen;

No moment would ever be the same.

There is much within you

That can turn the way this moment feels.

Sometimes life can be challenging,

Making every moment difficult.

There can be pain and agony that may seem endless,

Or every moment may seem like a chore.

Yet, whatever the times that must pass us by,

How we feel, deep within is

In how we learn to take the moment.

In happiness and sorrow, in joy and pain

Allow the moment to manifest itself,

As it is meant to.

Don’t fight it; for as it comes, it shall go.

Remember nothing lasts forever.

In the river of time, these moments slip on

In the passage of time.

So, gear up to experience a brand-new moment

As every moment is a fresh start.

See every moment in goodwill of hope.

Awaken to the present moment

Because that’s what truly matters.

Life is how you live it

A share of Kindness

My Dedication in Celebration of the World Kindness Day yesterday.

Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love. – LAO-TZU

Such profound words of wisdom from the great master Lao Tzu!

Always believe that when you share kindness with another, more kindness springs up, whether it’s in your thoughts, in your deeds, or in stillness too. Whenever you give with a compassionate heart and the receiver accepts with gratitude and appreciation, you have both made a foray, knowingly or unknowingly, into the dimension of empathic living.

There is a great abundance of learning to share.

Learning is never limited, it is endless and ever regenerating in itself. What I perceive to understand and to confidently and gratefully share with the world in my unique way, will in itself become known in the hearts of the ones I shared it with. This is the power of positive change. They will eventually distribute their own interpretation of that knowledge in their own creative way with another, and so on.

Then the incredible happens! With every distribution, there will be depth and dimensions a new, which in turn will pave the path for greater clarity and wisdom. However, the choice of walking the path is one’s own!

When one person shares from the heart, the result is always a regeneration of trust, confidence, and love in abundance.

With increasing love, there is a decrease of needs, and with that, there is greater contentment and fulfillment.

A few things to keep in mind are:

  • Share without motive.
  • Share without ego.
  • Share with gratitude.

The ones who bestow with acceptance writ in their hearts are the ones who know the value of letting go to reap its rewards.

Rewards that cannot be measured by time or days, as they abound in the infinite wisdom; a circle of conscious connections.

Middle path of peace

True peace flows

In the middle path.

In between the extremes

Of nature is the path.

Extreme states create vulnerability

For the very strength of rigidity

Is in its ability to structure into solidity.

But solidity may not quantify solidarity.

Shaping matter to form

Is prone to creating cracks

In the spaces between shapes,

And gaps are prone to fragility.

To thrive in the optimum

Is to value continuum,

Which brings adaptability

Along with acceptability.

Our beautiful world,

This ball of blue,

Has much at stake

In these times of vulnerability.

Our nations may play on

With tactics and goodwill,

Balancing acts in deliberation,

Taking much into consideration.

To reach out,

To stay put,

To align,

To withdraw

For extreme states

Are a weakness in itself.

Extreme power by itself

Is a very dangerous tool,

Denoting self-destruction

As much as calamity in chaos.

The solution is thus,

Steering into the middle path.

When a structure gets too rigid,

Allow spaces for destressing.

When situations become hostile,

Breathe in to empathize.

When a war of words ensues,

Consider the art of negotiation.

For it is never bullets that truly win;

It is the people who do.

Steer into the path of peace.

Allay fears and acknowledge the futility

Of living in the extremes.

Tread in awareness of the middle path.

Peace is not won in battles.

Peace reigns in the heart of man.

Make way for the inner light to step out.

Let peace and goodwill guide the way!

To teach is to engage

Life’s lessons for one and all!

To learn anything profound

That gets you changing the self

That transforms thoughts

To transcend the mundane

In contemplation and reflection.

To response and action

Practice is the best teaching.

To teach is to engage whatever the age.

Teaching the young

A child is reflexive and responsive

And absorbs in the new like a sponge.

To teach the young is no easy task

It can be a task that is daunting

And yet very rewarding at the same time.

To truly change the world for the better

We need to teach them, love for life and living.

We need to speak with compassion for them to follow suit

We need to share and express ourselves

We need to treat one other with kindness.

We need to be caring and considerate consistently.

We need to share more of ourselves

We need to honour our commitments.

We need to reach out and help another.

We need to encourage and appreciate

For these are what gets imprinted in their hearts

For acts of goodwill leave a lasting impression.

Conscious Independence

As we celebrate our Independence day in India, may we care to value the underlying philosophy behind the word Independence … the ability to voice our uniqueness and express our individuality amidst a global platform.

Truly, Independence is a birthright that allows us to freely express ourselves, but along with it, is a sense of responsibility, a duty to empower the within as much as the world .

Channelizing the creative flow of freedom of expression to positive outcomes for the larger good is a responsibility for every individual. It is actually the simple way to create a life of well being with in and around each of us and for the world at large .

As we are after all an interdependent world even in our states of independence…. that to me is valuing and practicing Conscious Independence.

Happy Independence Day!!!

May we always Dance the dance of independence and freedom.

May we tune ourselves to connect with joys in tandem.

May we always remember and value great souls lost in martyrdom.

May we acknowledge that the strength in the interdependence is never random.

May we always respect our roots and learn to follow our inner wisdom.

You and your thoughts

You and your thoughts

You think that you own your thoughts
Well, your thoughts are not your own
They come through you, not from you
For you know not what your next thought may be.

For all matter is energy that flows
In tunes of nature of life
You are the channel that plays an important part.
You are like a vessel, that contains a thought.

And in that time that you hold the thought
Before it passes you by
You have a choice of steering it
In your unique way as you are meant to do

For thoughts may come
And thoughts may go
It is what you choose to do
with the thought,
That makes all the difference.

To pause and reflect.
To notice and and witness.
To observe and take charge.
To sense and to know.
To appreciate and let go.
All is with in and around you.
You and your thoughts.

Free as a bird in flight?

Flight of the birds

Depicts the freedom of being

Alive to take off any place anytime.

Are you truly free as a bird in flight?

Flapping wings courting the winds

Forging ahead, head on in space

Sensing the lightness of being

Are you ready to take yourself lightly?

Birds of a feather they say flock together

Flying as one in synch with another

Flowing into perfect patterns in close formation

Are you ready for this dance in synchrony?

Savvy

Watch the beautiful murmuring of birds in the sky. And watch it till the end as it dances so enticingly that it certainly leaves one spellbound!

On Thinking

Expansive & Inclusive thinking.

The importance and impact of thought on humanity cannot be denied. Positively steered thoughts transform lives and create transcendence.

Similarly, aimless thoughts lead to stagnation. And negative thinking is a road to self-destruction. Repression and suppression of thoughts through force and coercion can have harmful effects on the entire persona.

Educating the mind and heart with the power of rational thinking and clarity on topics like humanity and ethical living, natural laws of being, of the larger purpose of being than the self creates a conducive platform for steering the young minds towards self introspection and contemplation in self reflection and awareness.

For instance subjects like philosophy, psychology, sociology can be introduced in high schools along with other mainstream subjects so discussions on morality and ethics of being and humanity at a much impressionable age. Students showing interest can then be given options to advanced exploration.

Every subject has its own charm and significance, In fact including these subjects will help still a restless mind and induce tolerance and patience in thinking and relating.

In doing so the next generations understanding of the relationship of the self and world and it’s interdependence in the strength of the interconnects improves amidst the introspection. The possibilities are infinite.

Our world needs understanding in expansiveness and inclusivity more than ever… it needs governance by leaders who value response over reaction.

On Humility

Stay humble and grounded
Remember your roots

To know tough times move on
Leaving you solid in the rooting_

Faith is…

Faith is all there is

For without faith nothing is!

Savvy

A few more reflections…

When faith speaks it helps to listen
For faith conveys the depth of knowing
In simplest of ways.

Call it a belief in trust
Call it a feeling in the gut!
Call it a sense of intuition.
All a certain knowing in the sensing!

Our world needs us!

Positive change begins with us.
Every living being is making a difference to the environment in every moment. The question is how and in what way can it become sustainable.

Like the Great Barrier Reef, once the coral reefs are affected there the entire ecosystem stops thriving, and less fresh water will flow through the lakes…

Closer home the topography of the Great Himalayas are changing as well.
With melting ice-caps, the collapse of vegetation and wildlife, and violent surges of hurricanes droughts and frequent wildfires are all concerns for our world.

And there is really not much difference in the apathy that is happening in the name of sustaining the future… only much similarity in the situation of corruption and deceit through politics of governing people whatever the part of the world we are living in.

What we can do for our Sustainability:

Besides the regular ‘Reuse, Recycle and Reduce’ advice that comes to mind immediately I am sharing a post I chanced upon recently https://www.conserve-energy-future.com/stopglobalwarming.php

I realise I am perhaps contributing in my little way by ‘Spreading Awareness'(Tip 35 on the list ) on the need for Environmental Sustainability … but I found a lot of the tips here pretty much adaptable and relevant to us as an individual …

For the true change starts from each of us.
