Energy equilibrium

We are made of matter.
Matter is filled with energy
Our life is full of changes
Manifesting itself in so many ways.

Sometimes these very changes
In our lives bring out
Redistribution of our energy
Creating a lack or overflow of energy.

Our life patterns can cause a rift
Between thoughts and action
Between emotions and behavior
Emerging in imbalances

Yet we are each at our best
When we have our unique mix of energy
A concoction suitable to our nature
In proportions of sublime precision

As we give we receive
In receiving there is giving
To balance and counterbalance
The emerging inadequacies

All a matter of movements
That heal in the doing
That restore our spirit
And align with our soul.

This dance of chaos and order
Balance and imbalance
Are part of the same source
Maintaining our energy equilibrium

Stairway beckons

A picture that is open to so many interesting interpretations…

Is this a stairway to heaven
The path that sets you free
Steps that lead the way
To the light of eternal truth

Your life is given to you
A knowing is bestowed upon you
In hope that you will seek
And find the truth of your being.
All answers are within you
To sense and understand
Life is both hell and heaven if you wish.
All it needs is a stairway to the within.

In the rigours of life and living
Find those moments that move you beyond simply existing!
Search not the whole world over
In confusion and chaos over the emerging illusions.
For in all the facade of perceptions
The truth is simple and visible
If you choose to actually notice.

Seek if you must
The truth of your own life.
The purpose of your own being.
Choose to be responsible.
To acknowledge the wonder you are
Make friends with your inner self.
Treat it with care and consideration
Align your thoughts and action.
You will soon find within yourself
The stairway to the heaven in you!

One word in the English language that could be a noun, verb, adj, adv, prep is *UP*.Read until the end… you’ll laugh.

This two-letter word in English has more meanings than any other two-letter word, and that word is *’UP’*. It is listed in the dictionary as an [adv], [prep], [adj], [n] or [v].
It’s easy to understand *UP*, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake *UP*?

At a meeting, why does a topic come *UP*? Why do we speak *UP*, and why are the officers *UP* for election (if there is a tie, it is a toss *UP*) and why is it *UP* to the secretary to write *UP* a report? We call *UP* our friends, brighten *UP* a room, polish *UP* the silver, warm *UP* the leftovers and clean *UP* the kitchen. We lock *UP* the house and fix *UP* the old car.

At other times, this little word has real special meaning. People stir *UP* trouble, line *UP* for tickets, work *UP* an appetite, and think *UP* excuses.

To be dressed is one thing but to be dressed *UP* is special.

And this *UP* is confusing: A drain must be opened *UP* because it is blocked *UP*.

We open *UP* a store in the morning but we close it *UP* at night. We seem to be pretty mixed *UP* about *UP*!

To be knowledgeable about the proper uses of *UP*, look *UP* the word *UP* in the dictionary. In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes *UP* almost 1/4 of the page and can add *UP* to about thirty definitions.

If you are *UP* to it, you might try building *UP* a list of the many ways *UP* is used. It will take *UP* a lot of your time, but if you don’t give *UP*, you may wind *UP* with ( *UP* to) a hundred or more.

When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding *UP*. When the sun comes out, we say it is clearing *UP*. When it rains, it soaks *UP* the earth. When it does not rain for awhile, things dry *UP*. One could go on and on, but I’ll wrap it *UP*, for now…… my time is *UP*!

Lessons from a Mirror

In continuation of my reflections on the Mirror, I came across this relevant piece on lessons from a mirror…

3 lessons mirror teach us.

1. It reflects things as it is , whatever stain or dirt in our face , it never adds or reduce it.

We should learn to show (whether it is our spouse, children, relatives or friends,)others merits or faults just as they are. Never exaggerate or hide just because of our prejudices. Never make mountain out of a molehill or viseversa.

2. The mirror reflects only when we are in front of it. Once we move away it becomes silent.

Learn to praise or complaint to the person directly when they are face to face . Never backbite. Appreciate them personally or talk about their defects that bother you in person, Never to a third person when they are not there.

3 The third lesson is we never get angry with the mirror because it is showing the stains or defects in our face.

Similarly when someone points out our defects we should learn to thank them instead of getting angry or hurt and try to correct our faults.

Next time whenever you stand in front of a mirror, remember these lessons.

This Moment

This Now’ is a just a flicker
In the vast endless space.
A fleeting moment,
That travels backwards in Time.
Never to return on its one-way path.
Never blink your eyes, lest you miss
The beauty of the Moment.

Some moments well captured in this time frame.
Stays afresh like the etching on a rock.
A single moment, so potent
To change the course of your life.

A bliss or curse depends on the Awakening Awareness of its Transcience.

Seek an understanding mind
Make no effort to stagnate,
As flowing is its innate Nature.

Senses wandering free
Unmindful of the other
Thoughts floating like clouds
Unconnected actions of body n mind
Aimless moments, effortless wastage
Unaware of the flow of Time.
Like sand seeping through the fingers
‘This Now’ dissolving in the past,
Creating a formless future, at what cost?
Potent moments become futile.

Detachment is different from disconnection.
Awareness is not aligned to alienation.
Make an effort to be consciously present
Not to miss a moment of breath,
‘Be in the Now’ to witness the magic of Life.

Each moment is a new me.

Change, the one that never changes
Is Nature’s way of continuing the Eternal cycle of life and death.

The Infinite Cosmic Energy, being the Eternal Centre
Changes keep on happening
In every atom, molecule, particle, and cell.
Thus widening the horizon,

From Invisible subtle to Visible gross.
Creation and destruction, a part of this change,
The various cycles of Life and seasons
Changing monotony to a variety
In mind and matter.

Colours and moods transient, every moment.
Wondering in awe to the moment next.
Dwell not in the past,
Fret not the Future,
Never to lose the Magic of the Present.
Each moment a new me is born.

Be present to cherish the Present.
Be aware n awake to witness

The blossom of bud to fragrant flower.

Soul to soul
Heart to heart
Speaketh one to another

I am another you
One soul to another
I am an extension
Of your own love of Life

I seek your blessings
I seek your knowledge
I seek your wisdom
I seek your strength

Ingrained in the sands of time
You have experience of life in living
That I have none
I begin with what you give

Your thoughts your intentions
Your belief and faith

Flight of the birds

Depicts the freedom of being

Alive to take off any place anytime.

Flapping wings courting the winds

Forging ahead, head on in space

Sensing the lightness of being

Are you ready to take yourself lightly?

Birds of a feather they say flock together

Flying as one in synch with another

Flowing into perfect patterns in close formation

Are you ready for this dance in synchrony?

Fire on Ice

My Artwork : Fire on Ice.

Icy crystal crags turn to crimson hues.
Burning bright and fiery red
Lava river gushing forth
Peaked only by the crackling sounds of Ice on Fire

While the blazing river of molten snow
Flows on until it’s time to freeze its own flame.
The final countdown is just the same
Elements behave true to their form
And all is well back to base.

And time and life moves on beyond remorse
For Nature too is in no hurry to race
It takes its own shape and course
To begin to flow again at its own pace.

Us

What a beautiful message in this story!

A young girl and her father were walking along a forest path.
At some point, they came across a large tree branch on the ground in front of them.

The girl asked her father, “If I try, do you think I could move that branch?”
Her father replied, “I am sure you can, if you use all your strength.”

The girl tried her best to lift or push the branch, but she was not strong enough and she couldn’t move it.

She said, with disappointment, “You were wrong, dad. I can’t move it.”

“Try again with all your strength,” replied her father.

Again, the girl tried hard to push the branch. She struggled but it did not move.

“Dad, I cannot do it,” said the girl.

Finally her father said, “Young lady, I advised you to use ‘all your strength’. You didn’t ask for my help.

Points to ponder…

  • Our real strength lies not in independence, but in interdependence.
  • No individual person has all the strengths, all the resources and all the stamina required for the complete blossoming of their vision.
  • To ask for help and support when we need it is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign of wisdom.

Dear readers,
Every one of us has the ability to create and access the strength of the interconnects within us and it can start with movements in grace of connectedness to the powers within and around us.

For it is in tune with the patterns of cosmic energy beyond physical dimensions. And as and when we learn to value the strength of the interconnects in the interdependence…every thought can be chosen to reflect a flow of hope and goodwill.

Every deed that follows then will someway reflect that very thought and that would be the strength of the interconnects amplified.

When there is harmony in our thoughts and the core intention within, peace and goodwill reigns in our hearts.

To truly understand the power of unity is to see one another through beyond their strife.

Let’s care to empower the inner spirit in every little way we can.

Uniting all in the strength of the interconnects that run common in this thread of life .
