 A Matter of Fine Tuning.

Your cells are intuitive and have memory bank of information that is stored both inately and experientially .

How they synthesize and process that information may depend on many factors, especially on how healthy they are and what kind of nutrition they continue to have.

However they are continously in communication with you. Your sense of intuition is a part of their communicative process. So is your gut feeling and even a deja vu.

There is always much listening in to do if you wish to decode these flashes of thoughts and feelings. In fact they are your inbuilt guide and gifts of life. Acknowledge them for what they are.

That familiar feeling of knowing someone or something before even meeting them.

The rush of emotions amidst certain memories may be your intuitive sense of your cellular being getting a higher intensity of messages.

Here it is important to differentiate between fear and intuition… most often fear as a reaction is driven by attachment and led by insecurity, whereas intuition is a calm knowing from an inner voice of guidance and an almost unattached feeling although at times they may overlap in certain situations .

The tense feeling before a certain situation or place person or thing. Can be, you are getting a message across from your survival mechanism .

Your clenched fist or the butterflies in your stomach, the knotted feeling deep within at times, or even a voice screaming from within of lurking danger ahead are all perhaps are a forewarning to be more present in this now that you actually are.

Your intuition sense comes from both the heart and the gut brain. While the gut feeling comes forth to protect you, the heart is expansive in nature for it is known to radiate an aura around you. So no matter how the intuitions come from you can learn to make it work for you as you begin to develop your understanding of it.

The trick is in discernment of what comes from the place of fear and why or from the space of love and why.

A few tips on developing and harnessing your intuition.

1.Acknowledge your sense abilities for they are more powerful than we understand them to be

2.Try an pay attention to the first feeling you get in situations. There may be more to the vibes you get.

3.Work and develop your creative skills it helps to strengthen your intuitive sense of awareness starting with your own breathing patterns.

4 Try to work on being grateful of the gift of life and trust it to be your guide along the way. .

5. Most importantly avoid over thinking simply, be alert and yet receptive as it is always a work in progress.

How much do you value your intuition?

How much do you allow it to manifest itself?

Do you care to nurture it ?

Do you care to listen when your intuitive sense talks to you ?

Or do you choose to ignore it and move on .

Do you recall any instance of how you listened to your intuitive self.

Do share your thoughts…

Learnings from children

Every now and then

As the world becomes a burden

We adults need reminders

To notice the enthusiasm in children

A child teaches many things

That we could learn from

Happiness is a state of mind

Engagement is being in this now

Perseverance is a journey towards success

Today is a celebration of childrens day

Am thankful for all the lessons learned

And am grateful for the new learnings.

🙏🌺🙏

I dedicate this post to my child and my teacher of many many things great and small …

and to all the children across the world.

Happy Childrens Day!!!💕😊💕

On Spontaneity

Paradox of Perfection

Words are all I

Have to share

Writing is a flow

Of it’s own doing

If I have to wait

To think it over & over

Perhaps I could lose

The spontaneity of it all!

Sometimes in the jotting

The journey of thoughts

Begins to ebb & flow

And it’s best to allow

The spillage of thoughts

Sometimes structured

At times haphazardly

Words manifests itself

The Writing journey

Is a paradoxical one

Of ups and downs

Of chaos and confusion

Of sorting through thoughts

Meandering through the maze

A lot like living life

For ultimately in time

The puzzle fits

And all gets figured out.

A Matter Of Inclusiveness

Such a beautiful and inspiring share.

Yesterday I happened  to read this share on social  media. And I truly  appreciate  the  mindset of these two beautiful people.
One who believes learning has no age or defined boundaries And goes on to prove it by completing her graduation.

Another who values the needs and heartfelt intentions of another and is accepting and inclusive enough to have no place for  insecurities of any kind to seep in, while helping her accomplish her goals.

It’s truly fascinating  to read this. And I do know the journey must have been one of those rare kinds as well as challenging on many fronts for both of them.
It’s truly not often that you witness such beautiful endeavors.

And speaking candidly…
How many daughters  would actually  want their mothers in college with them?
How many will be happy to accompany  their mothers every day while in college?

How many mothers would have the thirst for knowledge and the passion, patience  and perseverance needed to do something  about it to such a degree?

Salute to both these spirited souls.
For sharing their learning journey. And showing  age is just a number and inclusion  is a matter of an expansive heart.❤

Boundless bond

On the brink…

The world is going through a severe crisis
Anyone could be the next victim of the virus
It knows not man made differences
Of caste color creed race or religion.

The edge of reason

This is a time of uncertainty
Relationships old and new are on trial being tested in every way.
The need of the hour is to exercise caution, care, and spread hope and positivity
Yet there is still hatred, excess self indulgences all across the world.
There is still emotional mental and physical abuse in relationships…

Caught in the knot…

Caught in the knot is often the feeling for many
Where there is no trustful bond but just a feeling of being bound.

But yet tomorrow is another day…

Boundless bond…

May the love we have surmount the hate
May the good prevail over evil
May the light shine over the darkness of the mind
May we stay healthy and happy in our every now.
May we understand the power of words and spread them with care.

Soulful sensing…

What we have today we must cherish…

For a tomorrow that we build with love

For when we begin to see with our souls…

Our perceptions can alter, re-creating bonds beyond feeling bound.

Patterns Of Perception

A dear friend shared an overflowing cup of inspiration my way and asked me to share a few thoughts.

Here are my reflections in a flow…

Patterns of perception.
Making sense of sensibility
Emoting in the experiences
Of life and living.

The cup of the heart pours…
Flowing through it reaches
The centers of cognition
And the mind begins thinking.

The cup of mind assimilates.
Gathering insights and ideas
Creating patterns of perception
Everything that is, is not all.

In all that it appears to be
There is always more
For infinite are the possibilities
In every moment of perception.

A reason to be

Every thing has a reason to be

Air and Space Water Form
All elements of being
This beautiful world of ours
Blesses us much
So much gratitude
For these elements of life.
We are born of it and we need it to survive

Every thing has a reason to be

The river of time
The water that flows
The shape of things
The spaces we occupy
The air that we breathe
All matters for life and living.

We breathe air to live in space
This air that we breathe
We often take for granted
This air is the gift of earth around us.
We need to value its presence
We need to keep it pure and clean
For what we breathe we are
For our actions depend upon it.

A ship floats in water
Not just because of buoyancy
But because there is air tight space
A space that contains air
A space that aids the displacement
A space that balances the weight
A space that lightens the load
The shape makes a difference
In the way the weight is carried
The shape of the ship makes it float.
Displacing water equal to its weight
Helping it to stay afloat.

Archimedes’ principle, physical law of buoyancy, discovered by the ancient Greek mathematician and inventor Archimedes, stating that any body completely or partially submerged in a fluid (gas or liquid) at rest is acted upon by an upward, or buoyant, force, the magnitude of which is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by the body. The volume of displaced fluid is equivalent to the volume of an object fully immersed in a fluid or to that fraction of the volume below the surface for an object partially submerged in a liquid. The weight of the displaced portion of the fluid is equivalent to the magnitude of the buoyant force. The buoyant force on a body floating in a liquid or gas is also equivalent in magnitude to the weight of the floating object and is opposite in direction; the object neither rises nor sinks. For example, a ship that is launched sinks into the ocean until the weight of the water it displaces is just equal to its own weight. As the ship is loaded, it sinks deeper, displacing more water, and so the magnitude of the buoyant force continuously matches the weight of the ship and its cargo.

As the Seasons Change

As the Seasons Change

Keep the Spring in your heart
Then no Winters are too harsh
Or Summers too hot to handle
As Seasons change around you
You sense it all from the hope of your heart.
And hope springs forth eternally…

Here is a beautiful video that came by , shared by my friend Ashok Subharao

Although it is in Tamil , the gist is relevant to keeping the Spring in our hearts.

Love
Be in love
Be alive to life
For life moves in time
The Circle of life is a given
Only you can make this now matter well
Feed the soul, with all your heart.
Be in this moment ,feel light.
Think well live happy
Feel the love,
Love life
Live

Another video clip that came by shared by my friend Christoph, while writing the above words in this format specifically, with an idea to use words symbolically to capture the essence of the circle of life, this also feels apt to share here.

It speaks of the circle of life and the essence of letting go.
This is so important for living life well.

The lesser the baggage you carry in your head and heart the lighter you feel and freer you are!

For what matters is what you make of the now…
Let the seasons change around you
As you engage with this moment.
Live life lovingly!

The Gift of Life…

Had shared it earlier in 2016 but will share this again as I believe it is relevant always.

The Gift of Life …

“When I was a little girl I often have witnessed my dear father see and give great value & acknowledge every little good that is or happens, however small they may seem to others. It could be a with a gentle word, a tiny appreciation or a little compliment.

He taught me one of the most important lesson for a lifetime…to notice, respect and reflect on the good in and around us … and to live positively and think of life always as Plus++++es.

Life is beautiful as it is and it is in us to see it so.”

Unbox & Connect the dots.

Buyer seller: A partnership plan.

Subscription model successes and failures are a well-known story in the leading business enterprises ranging from entertainment to e-commerce & healthcare sectors. But often companies are flummoxed when it comes to retaining their existing subscription box model in time . It is certainly a challenge to keep it going!

Why they work in the first place?

They may work if there is perceived value and convenience to the customers. And for the company, if there is revenue generation through repeat sales.

Here is where intelligent pricing matters. ( ensure it feels like a good and worthy bundle for the price of one from the Customers perspective.)

Here are a few suggestions from a company perspective on reworking the Box model.

Work on building a long term relationship with existing customers.

Chalk a customer-centric approach.

At times the surprise element can backfire.

Call and build awareness of the products and its USP beforehand.

Use the Customers who are satisfied for referrals socially.

Innovations in service and delivery can help.

Let the Customers know the products are service-oriented and not sales oriented. It charges their emotions towards a sale.

Companies perhaps offer treats tickets offline events and give some coupons freebies or opportunities for them to be brand loyal.

Work on building a community of people who get a product to try at a discount or offer a discounted first-month price. Will be a great chance to understand market demand.

Increase the customers’ perception of the utility of the products by creating greater awareness.

When an online purchase is done
Offer a subscription box at the point of sale with an offer and an explanation of how the company is doing good for the world at large.

But remember
User growth may eventually decline in the case of predictive products.

Keep it fresh and interesting.

Make sure to check complacency from employees once the monthly boxes are shipped. As a company be genuinely interested to know if the box is making a positive difference to the customer. Insert a survey link or feedback suggestions for improving the service.

Initially, Customers often start off wanting to exact the full value of the price paid in terms of the products or services. Like fitness subscriptions and then there is a waning interest unless the customer is kept engaged.

One of the proven flaws of the model is that it is suitable for certain Business and not for others. Like it may work where there is a service or product that is needed continuously but not for once in a while kind of demand products.

With too many entrants and the overkill that is visibly overwhelming to customers
Business models often need to keep improving their presentation, content, services and products and try exceeding the expectations of their registered clients for retention. In an extremely competitive market scenario, this is can be a double-edged sword.

There may also be waning interest of existing subscribers due to a perceived lack of control over the products delivered to them.

Financially is it viable?

This is a necessary question that a business must consider from time to time.

As in time, the user may prefer to choose between models that offer other likewise or similar category products.
And prefer only one among many such models after evaluating the benefits.

While every individual is different,
Customers may find the company idea of piecemealing or compiling all together redundant and may prefer to buy a one-off product that they actually need.
As simply sending something to a person continuously may make the product less wanted or needed in time.

With too many subscription models in the market, Customers cannot be conned as they are aware of the gameplan due to existing and already functional models
So the ‘why the model is good to buy’ is important to a seller to know and convey to the client always.

Time to rethink and unbox to connect the dots.

Music makes all the difference

Here is a humourous take on Music and music makers influencing the world of music lovers….

Elvis made us dislocate our bones.
Dylan helped us discover poetry.

Cohen gave us a baritone complex.
Marley taught us to stand up and fight.
Boney M lit us a rocket to Venus.

Osibisa brought us the sounds of Africa.
Eagles flew us to a hotel in California.

Dire Straits put us with some sultans high up on swings.
Jimi Hendrix spoke to us with his guitar.

Beegees did us in with very deep love.
Carpenters led us to the top of the world.

Queen brought us the legend of Mercury.
Rainbow invited us to the Temple of the Fox.

Kenny Rogers told us about cowards.
Doors opened us to a certain Mr Morrison.

Deep Purple set us on fire with smoke on the water.

Smokie got us Alice.
Don McLean fed us Pie.
Cliff Richards congratulated us.

Santana hypnotised us.
Tull broadsworded us.

Michael thrilled us.
Kiss kissed us.
And Jim Reeves, Harry Belafonte, Tom Jones and others left us with memories that will never leave.

*For the lot of us who grew up in the 70s, the ride to adulthood was one mind blowing trip on the back of the humble vinyl & cassette tape.* 🎼🥰

3 Rules of Life & Living

Three rules to make and get the best out of life

  • Face your past without regret.
  • Handle your present with confidence.
  • Prepare for the future without fear.

Past

Past is already passed you by.

Good or bad,

They are simply memories.

Use them as a point of reference

But dwell not solely on them.

Present

Treat this now with respect

The magic is in the now.

Dare to be all that you can be

The present is meant for you to live.

Be alive to this moment.

Future

What is yet to come

Is not fretting about

Over planning messes the now

Quit worrying about tommorow

Loose not this now at hand.

Shifting perspectives

The truth, in the facades that may appear.
In understanding the real and unreal
The truths and the untruths
And everything in between.

Humanity stands perplexed
At times in the paradoxes of life
Confounded by challenges.
In the throes of confusion.
Sifting through to make sense of it all

Beyond the mirrored existence
Shifting perspectives in the making.
Yet knowing simply all as parts of the same source.
