A plant needs the right amount of nutrients to grow Like just enough water and sunshine Not more not less For both will weaken the life within That is the wisdom of moderation. Apply it to life and living Life wilts in the extremes. Choose to respect life And not tilt the stability.
When you supply everything beyond need There is no drive towards the higher purpose. The foundation is taken for granted And might eventually get weaker Suppy enough to keep it nourished.
Nurture life with a balanced approach Just enough to fulfill its purpose. Let the strength of resilience develop. For when roots are deep and grounded They withstand the onslaughts of nature.
Your approach changes everything The way you live The way you work The way you play Choose to look forward to finding the joy In whatever you do If you can find something to better Something to improve from
Something to grow and expand potential Then by all means focus on it Spend time to learn possibilities Making work feel better than before Find the meaning & purpose In whatever you do Work to make a positive difference Tweak your approach tweak your life
Irony of cognition As long as our beliefs are taking us through We are comfortable But if our beliefs, blur our vision We are confounded We become guarded And want to protect our opinions Even if they are erring In fact we are most hostile When we are aware deep within How wrong we actually are !
Rather than allowing ourselves to evolve We step in our own way of growth Becoming mental contortionists Twisting and turning With the assumptions & notions of truth Until we find an angle that upholds Our current views.
Our beliefs can be our strength as much as our weaknesses. In allowing ourselves to accept something new or different to what we are used to or expect, we begin to open up our minds and hearts.
Think about your own beliefs, are there moments where you were challenged by your own beliefs,
Were there times when you feel that some of your own beliefs need a thinkover?
Often we assume we are totally in the know and believe it to be so like a frog in the well.
Yet the truth shows up differently from these illusions we live in, and then we realize how far away from the truth we actually are!
True learning happens when we realize we are the teacher and we are the student. And life teaches the greatest lessons without anyone uttering a word or at times in just the sheer presence of a good soul .
Likewise as we dance from our heart without a spoken word and open ourselves to realization and acceptance of new possibilities… true dancing happens!
Yesterday I happened to read this share on social media. And I truly appreciate the mindset of these two beautiful people. One who believes learning has no age or defined boundaries And goes on to prove it by completing her graduation.
Another who values the needs and heartfelt intentions of another and is accepting and inclusive enough to have no place for insecurities of any kind to seep in, while helping her accomplish her goals.
It’s truly fascinating to read this. And I do know the journey must have been one of those rare kinds as well as challenging on many fronts for both of them. It’s truly not often that you witness such beautiful endeavors.
And speaking candidly… How many daughters would actually want their mothers in college with them? How many will be happy to accompany their mothers every day while in college?
How many mothers would have the thirst for knowledge and the passion, patience and perseverance needed to do something about it to such a degree?
Salute to both these spirited souls. For sharing their learning journey. And showing age is just a number and inclusion is a matter of an expansive heart.❤
Whenever I come across a heart touching action, or a prose ,a poem or quote I will be sharing it here in this series…
Some people make the world a better place by their thoughts words and deeds...
When the sport turns to a dance…
When the feet move in a rhythm
All its own, in uniqueness

Friends See, Brazil’s under 17 footbal coach Amadeu Carlos who is “just” 76 years old. This is called Brazilian football magic… He proves “Age is just number.” Amazing skill, energy and stamina.
This above information is social media forward, yet when decided, I wanted to learn more about him. I found that his age is misconstrued.Yet whatever the age, age is just a number, his skill is clear to see and that’s what is beautiful to see.
Here is a (wiki ) snapshot of his life and living.
Carlos Amadeu Nascimento Lemos was a Brazilian footballer and manager who played as a left back. He represented Bahia as a player before injury curtailed his career. He went on to have a managerial career which spanned almost thirty years.
This is how he sums up his country and its relationship with their favorite sport….“In Brazil when a child is born, the first gift for him is a ball. Our relationship with football is huge. We are a footballing nation and we like that”
