On Hiring

The Entrepreneurs,

Learn to sift through the chaff.
All your endeavours are nothing without a proactively engaged people
Invest in integrity. It goes a long way.

If you can’t find a hire you want, look around,
Give a chance to those at the office
Maybe there is someone there who has the required talent. And all they need is a bit of training.
Recognize genuine interest to do work.
Whoever it may be.
And value sincerity even if age or experiences are not on their side.
Allow people to grow, value & respect good intentions.

Treat them well without favour and
not only if they are useful for a reason and for a while.
Who knows who comes in handy.

Yes, you may be a startup but that is no excuse for not pulling up your socks.
Every bit of professionalism matters.
And make sure you practice what you preach.
Don’t lose your temper in stressful times. It leaves a mark of imbalance.

Every person on your side is a valuable addition to your enterprise.

A company is only as good as the company of people working in it.
One manship or one-man shop is never the answer
Hire positive people at all levels, not dictators and procrastinators.

And if you by chance happen to see someone, coming in daily without fail,
on their own without any excuses, and trying to do something for the better, notice them and give them training and the resources to flourish.
You will gain from not wasting their talent and time .
Respect another’s time as much as you respect yours.

Once upon a time

Once upon a time

Long long ago

In a far away land

Was a sweet little child

Who used to have a fairy tale book

Read to her by her dear mother

Every night as she was tucked into bed

She would hear a story from her mom

But there were clauses to this plan.

It was a given thing between the two

The story had to have a happy ending

The story includes people and animals

Or even a garden of fruits and flowers

Enchanting stories of courage and dare

Of compassion and care

Of humanity at large

In goodwill and love

Or even seemingly silly stories

Of life and living in general

Of fun and frolic.

But there was a pact between the two

Which her mother followed to the tee.

Simply there was one area

The story must not go to or be

Of things above in the sky.

Although her mother was too drawn

To explore the mystery of space…

But the little girl felt a little too lost

To fathom space and beyond

May be it was just her nature

Or perhaps there was more to it

Of why she was uncomfortable with unknown space!

Leaving a few musings in contemplation…

Are fears rational or just an illusion in the making?

What are irrational fears?

Are they there for a reason?

Do fears manifests from past lives?

Do fears eventually help us someway?

How does one overcome these fears?

Can we grow out of our little fears?

Do you have any experience of fears as a kid?

Have you chosen to outgrow them?

Have you managed to face your fears?

For life awaits on the other side of fear!

On presence

When…
We choose to see life
As countless moments
That are brimming with potential
Hoping to make best of the moment.

Then…
There are no lost moments
Only untapped possibilities
Opportunity brims again in every now
At times vividly sometimes subtly.

We need to be in this now
To know the hope in this moment
We need to breathe in
The now as it comes.

Know
Every moment carries truths
While it appears differently
As per how we sense the moments
One may see joy another sadness

Every sensing is transient
Every feeling can change
For nothing is permanent
Times change…

Tumbling what is, to not
And what is not, to what is.
All is in this dance of now
Let’s be present in this now!

Every moment is potent
Something’s always going on
Every moment is fertile
In the hope of possibilities.

No two moments are alike
For they are vibrations
In the throes of change
Moments are meant to make life matter.

Some poignant and heartwarming
Some tough to tackle
Some funny forming a great memory.
Every moment has potential.

To shift the tides
To leave a lesson behind
The question is…
Are you truly in the moment?

This Moment

This Now’ is a just a flicker
In the vast endless space.
A fleeting moment,
That travels backwards in Time.
Never to return on its one-way path.
Never blink your eyes, lest you miss
The beauty of the Moment.

Some moments well captured in this time frame.
Stays afresh like the etching on a rock.
A single moment, so potent
To change the course of your life.

A bliss or curse depends on the Awakening Awareness of its Transcience.

Seek an understanding mind
Make no effort to stagnate,
As flowing is its innate Nature.

Senses wandering free
Unmindful of the other
Thoughts floating like clouds
Unconnected actions of body n mind
Aimless moments, effortless wastage
Unaware of the flow of Time.
Like sand seeping through the fingers
‘This Now’ dissolving in the past,
Creating a formless future, at what cost?
Potent moments become futile.

Detachment is different from disconnection.
Awareness is not aligned to alienation.
Make an effort to be consciously present
Not to miss a moment of breath,
‘Be in the Now’ to witness the magic of Life.

On Success

You create the state of success

And you never rest on your success

Success is in the courage to continue

Your perseverance, your passion and purpose.

Success is consistently inconsiderate

Success demands much focus

as it supplies momentum

Beyond self limitations and doubts.

True success is the knowing

In your heart of contentment

Of a life well lived and loved

Success is who we are

Success is in each of us

Awaiting a discovery

An unearthing of potential

To sense life’s possibilities

If you believe ur abilities,

trust your instincts and

give it your best shot,

Success is sure to follow…

The Potent Now!

Every moment matters

As every moment is dancing

In the potency of the now,

Pulsing and vibrating 

With life in the movements.

Stillness is but a dance

In the dynamics of the flow.

In betwixt and in between

Pause, rest and action.

This now has reflections

Of both past reminiscences

And future possibilities

Wrapped up in its being.

What you see in this now,

What you intend in this now,

What you choose in this now

Is what you receive in this now.

In every now

Simply care to

Think well, choose well and do well.

Do the best you can. Because you can!

Just walk with me.

Not before, not after, just walk with me.

Says time,

If you have ever felt too overwhelmed,

If you have felt down,

If you have felt a bit off key,

If you have felt life to be unfair

I have just the answer to help you,

And it is very simple, too.

As only time can tell you,

Not before, not after, just walk with me.

All our miseries and misunderstandings

Stem from our lack of time management.

The solution is no secret at all.

The answer is in walking with this very now.

Chase not time of the past;

It’s gone for a reason now.

And stop wondering about and living in the future

For happiness is in this now that you nurture.

Walk in this now in time;

Tune into its current frequency;

Listen to it gratefully;

And live it well and wholeheartedly.

Allow the worries to fade into the past

As you cannot worry for what is gone.

Allow the future to manifest in course

As you cannot hurry time by force.

All is fine as it truly is.

All is well as it’s meant to be

In the realm of times

Between the you and the me.

So as only time can truly tell,

Walk with me.

Not before and not after,

Walk with me in this now.
