A new journey you are ready to start You have danced a countless steps to the tunes of life, You have chosen to see beyond the strife.
Dare a new morning dear one … Move on, as the past is over and done. Watch the sky as a sign from above How relentlessly and hopefully it brings forth the now.
How it regales us with a myriad hues, What a divine brush painting those magical views. Take cues from it as it carries on … Constantly changing in every moment. Across the horizon rests a whole new world. Awaiting your arrival with joy to behold.
It seeks nothing from you, neither your past glories Nor bothers about your many untold stories. It asks you to simply move on from any past torment As you step into this new moment.
Sail on dear one, with a heart filled with wonder. A new shore awaits, just across the yonder !
Savvy
‘This is one more of my photo inspired poems, the picture above denotes the let go as you move on, for to cling to the past scenarios simply delays the visibility of the the new views in the offing …
Someone asked me why I dance… and I said I dance to create myself.
I like to dance in my thoughts, words and deeds. By that I mean I enjoy the harmony of movements whether in thoughts or action.
Personally, I respect and value all forms of creativity and believe in the immense value of it in our daily lives.
We are all creative beings but some have to find their path themselves while perhaps for others the path is laid out for them.
We need to honour our creativity we need to find avenues to let go express and share what comes naturally to us. In that is a healing and restoring beyond compare. Have seen a single dance light up a dancers eyes or a single song or a painting stroke change the mood not only for the viewer but for the artist themselves.
Creativity is who we are and lets never forget it. The challenge though is to understand techniques of channelising creativity in a form that is valued and shared by many and that comes from practice. It is a path of immense possibilities each having the potential for soulful connects with self as much as others.
Dancers: An Artwork by Savvy Raj
What we create is meant to be and hence we learn to channelize the flow in more meaningful ways. Just the other day standing before a painting of just two vertical lines symbolised many possibilities… a bridge, to a tube, to a scale, to a road and more… infinite mind, infinite imagination, a fodder for thought in the letting go.
Yet to channelize the thoughts is a task for many demanding ardours and disciplined approach in thinking and streamlining strategically to enhance the end product be it any art form in life and living
Creativity must never be suppressed or repressed as then it manifests in disease of the body and mind. Immense is the power of creative movements to balance the body mind and spirit.
Green and saffron
colors of prosperity and detatchment.
One leads to attach,
One to detatch.
Both gives fulfillment
One externally while
the other internally.
Both in abundance.
No force , in free will.
Selecting the path is in our choices.
Anjana
Above is a photo I took at my home in my terrace garden which invoked an interpretation from my mother Anjana this morning.
Green for prosperity (green earth full of hidden treasures), saffron is for detatchment (color code for sanyasam or renunciation).
Sharing this as it speaks so simply of the juxtaposition of balance in nature that abounds. In colour, form, shape etc in all perspectives of life and living.
Towards Clarity
Converging from all directions.
With unformed shapes, unlinked thoughts. Merging at the centre as a Guiding Star
The sign of hope, light and promise for a positive tomorrow, filled with joy n cheer.
Movements are energy in action. And movements in a dance can heal and transform lives for the better.
How?
The physicality of a series of rhythmic or structured movement like in a dance creates a chemistry of changes to integrate the body mind and soul in a flow gradually towards health and vitality.
A few pointers to those who wish to dance to bring wellbeing into their lives .
When you dance …
Dance sensing the joy of movement. Feel the energy in the action
The Axe Forgets The Tree Remembers. …African Proverb
The surging pain of the strike The slashing that seethes the soul. The emotions deepen the wound Such is the exacting nature of the hurt.
But learn you must To gradually evolve To let go the past To grow anew Arise from the scars Forget you may not But forgive you can!
Like the barks of the tree Although scathed and bruised By the cuts of the axe Growing out new branches And blossoming into spring Flowering in fortitude… Strengthening the Soul Renewing the spirit
For the Bark of a Tree … Tells the tale of sheer grit And strength in the grounding.
Your life’s scars are patterns Life has drawn on you While you held ground.
Replenish &Regenerate. Only to bloom again in time!

Your real life partner
is Your *Body*
You and your body
stay together from
the beginning of your
life till your last
breath.
You enjoy each
relationship in this
world that you feel
is good for you..
But you also play an
important role with
your body.
What you do to your
body is your
responsibility and
that will come back
to You.
The more you care
for your body, the
more your body will
care for You.
What you eat,
What you do for being fit,
How u deal with
stress (physical/mental/emotional),
How much rest you
give to it..
Will decide how your body gonna respond
in your day to day
life.
Remember your
body is the only
permanent address
where You live.
What your body
wants is…,
Love
Care
Respect
Politeness
Honesty
Your body is your
responsibility.
Because…
You are Your real
life partner.
Sharing this above message as they certainly are words to remember!
The Body has always been at the receiving end.
Then there are always issues with the body we have , too thin too fat too muscular too lean too angular too buffed to wiry … sad for we are what we feed ourselves .
Instead of gratitude for the gift of life that gives us our body we focus on actual nonissues, without being able to be content and add to our stress levels ourselves.
Nurture your body.Value the residing space of our living spirit.
Respect the body
Our body is not a machine it needs more than regular fuel in the form of food .
Because we are a web of interconnected cells we thrive in the integration and interdependence of the body mind and spirit .
We need to think well to feel well
We need to eat well to be well
We need to choose well to live well
We need to behave well to thrive in wellness
This is the strength of the interdependence that keeps us going.
Feed the body with love:
Take care to eat right and respect its state of being
Be polite and honest in your ways. Every body can be listening . You are responsible for you can be influencing the apace around you. You are emitting your intentions and thoughts outwards subconsciously
You must remember to rest and care for your body whenever needed.
For whatever way and however you can, it is certainly like turning back the clock into a more productive you!
Nurturing is an integrated spectrum of experience and it is highly recommended in todays times of survival of the fittest to embalm the body spirit and soul.
What can be nurtured … well almost everything…
From a thought to an idea to a habit to a passion and more . When nurtured , in hope and goodwill there can be transformations in the transitioning of time .
Nurturing is a very vast ocean of unconditional love and support which can perhaps make the nurturer extremely compassionate and even exacting for the good of the nurtured . But perhaps the concept of nurturing needs to change as well with the changing sensibilities of time.
In such scenario as it presents itself nurturing needs a relook like a time stamp and check on where it is heading often keeping the iterations going to evolve further.
There is a dignity in nurturing
With understanding that arises
In patience tolerance and perseverance
Beyond an attitude of indifference
Nurture in trusting
Heart over mind
Or mind over heart
Is not the question at all …
Nurture in spirit and soul
With all of your being
In every communication
Or crisis confrontation
Nurture in conscious awareness
Accepting the interconnects
Acknowledging the interdependence
Arising to evolve in life and living.
Nurture knowing truth is eternal
In Spirit, knowing it is for you to kindle
In Empathy knowing you are because they are
In compassion sensing the suffering and pain.
Nurturing is not an on off act
It is a never ending journey
It is a lesson in unconditional love
It is a life time of learning in the caring.
To nurture is to arise to any occasion
In hope and goodwill
In strength of positivity
In light beyond passions.
Nurturing is an art of living
In bringing to light the hidden good
In surfacing with dignity and grace
In knowing the infinite truth of being.
Nurturing is in the unfolding resurrection
In transpiring to regeneration
As in such an reviving emergence
Life begets the vital resurgence.
To nurture is allow hope to permeate in all
To nurture is choose to better from before
To nurture is to raise the bar of accomodation
To nurture is to instill faith and bond in trust
To nurture is an emergence of a boundless bond.
A nurturing heart supports and nourishes
A nurturing nature provides care and comfort
A nurturer cultivates and lays the foundation for roots to grow strong and spread .
Ingenuity of man is fascinating indeed But when coupled with the passion it leaves quite an imprint ….
Here’s a testament of a love story finding a fixture in reality .
Have you heard of the STATUES OF LOVE
Located in Batumi, Georgia, the statue of lovers begin to move every night at 7 p.m.And the two figures represent a Muslim boy, Ali, and a Georgian princess, Nino, from a famous 1937 novel by Azerbaijani author Kurban Said. The tragic story ends with the lovers separated by the invasion of Soviet Russia. This powerful love story has been translated into more than 30 languages.
“Man and Woman” is a 8 meter (26 foot) tall moving steel sculpture by Georgian sculptor Tamara Kvesitadze.
