Writing : A healing practice
WordPress says I have crossed 400 days of continuous writing and publishing now.
And it is a great motivation personally to me. As sometimes a few words are hard to come by and then there are times when a river of words flow…
There is so much learning in simply putting thoughts down in a structure.
In the way, they flow
In the way they arrange themselves
From our thoughts to the words
The choices of perspectives
As they appear and form
To convey what we want to say.
As I continued to write
Early every morning
I found myself creating a space for me
A time that stands still
In the silence of thoughts
And in the dance of reflections.
This time has been a dedication
For the writer in me
In unravelling and understanding
The power of love for writing
And the potential of possibilities
In patience and perseverance.
And coming away with the realization
That to write a few words every day
Whether in a poem or prose
Is truly a beautiful healing
For our mind heart and body.
Creating anything takes energy
And in expression is a release.
In contentment and intention.
In gratitude for the inspirations.
And ever grateful for the support
Extended here by my readers
And a special mention

Spiritually, colour purple and violet assist in the expansion of awareness and in connection of deeper consciousness.

Grateful for this moment
With this day I complete 300 days of writing continously and publishing my works on WordPress.
Gratitude for the creativity from within and thankful for the experiences that allowed me to go into witness mode.
As a writer there is a space for thoughts to collect and flow as and when you feel like it.
This gathering of thoughts is moments of reflections in ruminations
Of life experiences
Of circumstances
Of happenings
Of situations
Of silences
All resounding reverberations in the responses to the resonances.
Writers need to be grateful…
Writers without pressure
Are at ease to allow thoughts
To seed as they germinate
And settle as they arise in time.
A far cry from spoken words
That simply must happen
When the speaking happens
For it its often relentless in the flow
Unchangeable and undoable
My gratitude extends
To writers and my readers alike
For in the flow of these words
Forged are many friendships
Linked in through these inked expressions.
For the buds of creativity blooms and thrives
In support and appreciation
So grateful to be able to write.

Looking at the fan like spread of this plant
Got me thinking of how wonderous
Are nature’s way of showing
Us how to live ….
In its arrangement of structure
There is a trustful abundance
Of spreading and expanding
Without fear and constraint
Yet deeply rooted to the core .
I just felt like cherishing this lesson.
I decided to take a photograph
In inspecting the picture closer
I was inspired to see the beautiful flow
Of so many shades and hues of colours
In those unassuming fan shaped leaves.
How much more subtly can nature say
Live life flowing in such a graceful way.

Why I write
I write when I am charged with an idea, an inspiration. Or perhaps when there is nothing else to do.
I write to balance my emotions whenever it needs equilibrium.
I write to flow with the moment with a thought that aligns as it calls on and emerges into a pattern in prose or verse.
I write to understand better when thoughts overpower…overstimulate the mind.
I write to let go of all that comes to my mind which I feel and hope can make a positive difference somewhere to someone reading me.
I write at times in deliberation too, to process and synthesize new understandings.
I write to unshackle from the many convictions I may unknowingly hold. As I write they break loose from restrictive spaces and help to align my thoughts in the sifting.
I write to express the bounties of life that I’m blessed to enjoy in gratitude.
I write to sense the bliss of being with all of me in the moment.
I write to radiate the positive intentions in hope & gratitude.
Simply put…
I write to express myself my way.

Right place right time!
At the right place at the right time…
Are places we land, reach, live and interact of our own choice and free will.
Is there a more at play beyond the random?
Isn’t there a pattern to the puzzle?
Are we meant to be where we are supposed to be?
At a particular place and time.
While every life journey in time is unique yet…
Life has an emergent pattern in the order and chaos that it self creates.
And in between, there is organisation and destruction.
Nature has its way in both order and disorder.
When in the flow of harmony there emerges a stillness in structure.
A plan, a commitment and discipline
Seems worth the effort of it all!
All is clockwork and efficient
Life seems at its optimal best.
And then things fall into a routine.
At a heightened state of equilibrium
When all is even & smooth sailing
A slack and slump in motivation appears,
Complacency creeps in time, in that ordered universe.
Creative juices need a boost up .
And that is when entrophy begins.
Changing equations changing hierarchy
Disruption appears as a need for change
All is in flux of a disordered flow
Disaster sets in, tumbling the structure
Crumbling systems until chaos reigns.
Until chaos settles itself again giving way.
To strengthen structure .
The dance goes on
Between freedom and restraint.
Are we truly free ?
Or are we guided to be
At the right place at the right time!
For there is so little we know
Of this self arranging universe
Except to understand
From the emerging patterns.
Of sequences of self similarity
Of timing and spacing.
There is after all so much more to discover.

Some songs weild power over us
Of playing with our emotions
Of altering reality in just a while!
Merging reality and dreams
Shifting our perceptions and reactions
Making us cry or laugh as we tune in
Some songs bring memories rushing in
Of moments lived and loved
Songs can create moods
Play on our senses
Shake thoughts up
Or make things feel alright!!
Everyone of us may have
Our own special song
Appealing to our senses
Touching base to who we truly are
Have so many favorite songs
That leave lasting impressions
Of life made a little more memorable
All evoked through those untold stories!

To the light of eternal truth
Your life is given to you
A knowing is bestowed upon you
In hope that you will seek
And find the truth of your being.

To sense and understand
Life is both hell and heaven if you wish.
All it needs is a stairway to the within.
In the rigours of life and living
Find those moments that move you beyond simply existing!
Search not the whole world over
In confusion and chaos over the emerging illusions.
For in all the facade of perceptions
The truth is simple and visible
If you choose to actually notice.
Seek if you must
The truth of your own life.
The purpose of your own being.
Choose to be responsible.
To acknowledge the wonder you are
Make friends with your inner self.
Treat it with care and consideration
Align your thoughts and action.
You will soon find within yourself

On Razors edge
My reflections on the stunning capture of the Cherry blossom Tree on Mount Fuji in Japan.
On the razors edge , there is poignant elegance
Beautiful poise, precariously in balance
Amidst the fury of the fire raging beneath
She stand resolute in her calmth
Not helpless but in knowing Nature’s ways
That in time all is well back to base
Beauty on the outside burns off into the ember
Leaving an ashen pile of dust to remember
Yet deluding the fury in being uprooted
In the strength of the grounding firmly rooted
Leaving an evergreen picture of poise
She has that stoic stance of grace
A pose of composure on destiny’s face
In spite of a life abruptly denied
She is the beauty of Grace personified !
