Sharinge my earlier post again for this new year as it is deeply meaningful excercise in Gratitude and Positivity to me.
The Gift of Life …
“When I was a little girl I often have witnessed my dear father see and give great value and acknowledge every little good that is or happens , however small they may seem to others . It could be a with a gentle word , a tiny appreciation or a little compliment. He taught me one of most important lesson for a lifetime ….to notice, respect and reflect on the good in and around us … and to live positively and think of life always as Plus++++es .
Life is beautiful as it is and it is in us to see it so …”
We explore it in unique ways Some of us lookup at the sky Admiring the infinite vastness Of spaces above and beyond
Some of us look down at the ground Preferring to dig deep into nature To witness the foundation of living Exploring the very roots of the life
Some choose to dream and envision What might be, in hope for the morrow Some sit in stillness witnessing their breath Knowing all the truths of life is within.
Some prefer to dance with life In this now as it unfolds Accepting nature as it appears Preferring to make best of its moments.
Our perception The way we see Changes the way We take action Our attitude Can make or break Our way of being.
Its all in us The ability Of changing Our ways Towards understanding Towards realizing Towards learning There is always more… Than what we choose to presume The way we express The way we carry ourselves Our attitude says it all!
When you look at other people through a lens of compassion and understanding rather than judgment and jealousy, you are better able to see them for what they are—human beings.” ~ Unknown
The power of Water
Lies in its flow…
In its ability to shape itself
Adapting and aligning
Blending in, melting
Shaping itself to form
And easing itself accepting changes.
Such is the power of water
As the water flows
Life thrives with it
The sounds of flowing water
Holds the magic of healing.
Even the Sounds of water
As the water floweth
Creating sounds of serenity
From a babble to a ripple
Or even a trickle or a gurgle
All the solutions rest within
As the water floweth…
The flowing water
Teaches many lessons
Of moving on
Of acceptance
Of letting go
Of strength and trust
Of focus and determination
Of blending in
Of purposefulness.
Profound words of wisdom flows through these words and makes us understand the necessity of cultivating certain skills and developing abilities in life… for these abilities can hold us in good stead, no matter how life treats us.
Ability to flow but with fortitude Ability to decide when to take a stand Ability to appreciate & share kindness Ability to distinguish needs and wants Ability to respond with discernment Ability to assert without arrogance Ability to empathize in understanding Ability to forgive and let go…
Ability to be flexible yet firm Ability to accept and acknowledge Ability to own up to our limitations. Ability to balance our own being Ability to laugh at ourselves Ability to see the good in others Ability to see the larger purpose And most of all… Ability to live life lovingly!
What are your thoughts on this ..do share if there are any more abilities you can think of.
5 years on Word press
A mighty task for me
To stay on, dedicated
To my writings.
But WordPress gives the canvas
To paint my words every day.
It encourages from the background.
Never in your face or intrusive.
But silently keeping tabs,
On every learning curve.
Rejoicing by a share
On every milestone
It has been a journey
Of many learnings
Along the way…
To my fellow writers & readers
Yes, I am no poet
Nor a writer by profession
I started on a lark
To dance with some words
To process my own thoughts
And give vent to my feelings
In a constructive and fulfilling way
And express I did
And continue to do, till date
With all my fellow writers
And readers, love, wishes & support.
We are an ever growing circle
Emerging through our words
In the sharing we have grown
We have eased into each other’s hearts
We may not see one another ever
But we have connected in mutual respect
Of each others creativity.
Though the power of words
Comforted and understood
Accepted and appreciated
One another in our own little ways.
For we all know the power of words
That, one heartfelt word can change a day!
Thank you all for being here and hoping for a joyful journey ahead together for us all.🙏🏼
Dance, it feels wonderful when you do.
Dance for your life to feel at ease.
Dance when you feel like and dance often!
Dance makes it all worthwhile.
Your body feels light and easy, as you dance.
The trick is to keep flowing
With the moves and continue dancing
As long as you enjoy the feeling…
Dance is not meant to harm the body.
But to heal your body and mind.
Integrating the spirit within you
So keep dancing …whenever you choose
For the body likes it best when you dance!
Everyone had tears in their eyes on the day of his farewell.
One of the employees said,
“Sir, there is one thing we want to learn from you.
You worked here for so many years.
Leave aside about scolding your subordinates,
we have never seen you even shouting at them.
We have scolded our subordinates on the pressure of work or for other reasons.
We want to know about the seed of your patience.”
The Boss said,
“This all comes from the incident of my childhood.
My father was working as a lower-level employee in an office.
He was a very nice person.
He was respected very much in our family.
It happened one day,
I was studying in the 4th standard.
I had gone to the office of my father for some reason.
I saw that my father was not on his seat.
I waited outside.
After some time,
the door of the Boss opened, my father came out of the door.
I saw the face of my father had turned red.
He went straight to a corner and stood there looking outside through a window.
He had not seen me.
I went to him and called him slowly.
He was taken by surprise and turned back to look at me.
I saw a stream of tears flowing down his eyes.
He was slightly disturbed seeing me. He did not find time to wipe out his tears.
Can my father cry anytime?
He was the strongest man in the world for me.
It was out of my wildest imagination that someone could hurt him.
I ran straight to the room of the Boss.
Father was calling me from behind.
But, listening to nothing,
I went inside and asked the Boss,
“Why did you make my father cry?”
The Boss was also surprised.
Thereafter, my father tried to make me understand.
But, that day I had decided to take revenge on the Boss.
From that day I decided that I will study well and become a Boss one day,
but I will not make my subordinates cry anytime.
Because, they are not only the employees of my office, they are also respected and dear father or brother or somebody of their families and belong to someone important.
People say it is not possible to control others without scolding them.
I say, what is love then for?”
People who come to work are the ones who devote their best and quality time of the day to work, leaving not much time for their families. They do deserve better treatment from their surroundings._

*Anger, on the other hand, doesn’t solve anything, it builds nothing, but it can destroy everything.*

*The less you respond to rude, critical, argumentative people… the more peaceful your life becomes.*
*Explain your anger instead of expressing it, and you will find solutions instead of arguments.*
