In the journey with time
Life’s toughest battles
Always find a way.
Life goes on no matter
Paving the path
To find solutions
Along the way.
The wisdom of resilience
Is to acknowledge
The circle of life
Remember the challenges
Always surface a solution
Underneath the giant shadow of trees
Mushrooms possibilities of hope.
In difficult moments Think of life As ocean waves Waltzing with the tides
Highs and lows Are both part of the flow Think of yourself Realize you are Not just in the flow You are the flow
Sense the surge Of empowerment Flooding through you In this very thought You have it all within you To steer through The troubled waters To bridge through the gaps And find a way.
To rise above The tumultuous waves Always know There is hope In the horizon across Light shines Beyond the darkest night. Change is the only constant Like night and day Nature shows the way.
Tumbling down Is temporary Flipping over Is a fraction of a moment. Eventually leading To new beginning In hope and trust. For all is in flux Course through Sail through the waves With a heart full of hope.
There is great power in words… To charm another, influence or drive a point home.
Engagement online can turn better on bitter in a split second.
It is all in the choice of words used to convey a message. For there is much influence the words….such is the power of words.
Sometimes knowingly or otherwise the way we express or communicate to another by the words we may use may bring a chasm than create a bridge.
Sometimes when we see another life, as beautiful and cant curb the need to express it away, we often get caught up in our own words and unknowingly end up …
Crossing the Culture Threshold!
What to one might be just a poetic expression
To another might be a glitch of discretion.
Express if one must
Feel free to feel the way you feel is the way to feel
But only as long as anothers peace you don’t unknowingly steal.
For at times in the surging words of emotion…
Arises unnecessary stress and discomfort.
Better to know the pause in the space between our steps
And value your edges in every move.
For in every positive step in discretion
There is simply the strength of trust without mention.
When I penned these lines they were specifically for driving the message home gently that no one can tread on another’s emotional space without permission especially online using the power and persuasion of words…
True respect for another being can simply be about letting others be.
To all the dancers and those who choose to waltz with life….
As dancers we are a lucky lot!
We are totally able to dance with time…
Move with it on time,
Or take the offbeat road to reverse and revel the joy of reflections in the rivers of time.
The world may seem to revolve around you
But you revolve along with the world.
So to be in balance is to take a hold
Of the space you are in
To find your bearing, before you react.
To optimize your response
Begin to understand and discern
Where another is in space, in thoughts
In actions and deeds.
To listen actively
To empathize with their needs and wants…
To be able to see the ‘Us beyond the I’
To shift the ‘Me to the We’
This is what will truly help
Us to understand where we are.
Life is like that,
Its meant to evolve and grow
Along in the flow!
I was a little kid when I first came across this beautiful word Aurora …and then I read about the Polar Lights and was truly fascinated.
Back then I read as much as I could find in books before the age of the internet.
For many of us so far away from the poles this is often impossible to imagine beyond a blue sky… let alone the dancing lights.
Resharing this poem which is a dedication to Nature’s dance in the sky… all in the depth of my awe & fascination.
Spectre of brilliance
An opera in the sky
A dance of dazzling lights
Of colours flashing through.
Luminescent beyond compare
Magical spectacle of brilliance in the flow
An undulating waltz in the yonder
An unveiling of earth’s myriad wonders.
Such an ethereal vision
Mystical northern lights
Unbelievable, unforgettable
Awesomeness beyond mere words.
