Self belief and self confidence has a way of showing up …beyond ourselves In the way we treat others around us The way we take time out to ensure That they are cared for and understood The way we trust ourselves to do much more… Self belief makes us, own the space we occupy… And makes us shine the light on others and yet shine our own brilliance.
A youngster was attending a video conference with his Manager who was upset over the background noises. The Youngster turned around and told his grandmother to keep quiet.
She walked towards the youngster, to take a look into what he was doing and saw a person on the Monitor and asked, “Who is he?”
The youngster muted his audio and video and said, “He is my Manager”.
She said, “I want to talk to your Manager”. But the youngster denied. By the time the Manager started pinging the youngster and the youngster unmuted to talk and his grandmother shouted, “Manager I want to talk to you”.
The Manager agreed and the youngster unmuted the video. The grandmother, with a smile said, “Namaste” and introduced herself and the Manager also greeted her.
She said, “You look upset”.
The Manager said, “Yeah, some kind of work tension, a lot of noise around your house and we are not able to complete the meeting in time”.
The Grand Mother asked, “May I help solve your problem?”
Her grandson was stopping her and telling her to keep quiet.
The Manager said, “It’s ok, let her speak”.
The Grandmother narrated, “Once there was a Young man, who sat under a tree for taking rest. He was continuously hearing a bird’s sound. He lifted his head and seeing a bird, started chasing it, so that he could peacefully take some rest. The bird came closer to him and said, “You are taking rest under my nest. I will not ask you to leave this place but you should learn to co-exist with us”.
The Grandmother looked at both of them and said, “Your Home is your nest” where you are supposed to take rest and bond with your dear and near ones. I do understand the Covid-19 situation, but you should also understand that our home is not your office.
*When we come to visit our family members at your office place, we are expected to behave professionally or maintain a certain decorum.*
Similarly, when you are using our home for your office work, you should understand the situation at our home.
There is nothing wrong with working from home, but remember, it is the family members benevolent nature, that is keeping the corporate world functioning today and the economy running.
She looked at the manager and asked, “Am I correct ?”
*The Manager’s mother peeped and said “You are absolutely right”.*
A person started to walk on a rope tied between two tall towers. He was walking slowly, balancing a long stick in his hands. He had his son sitting on his shoulders.
Every one on the ground were watching him in bated breath and were very tense. When he slowly reached the second tower, every one clapped, whistled and welcomed him. They shook hands and took selfies.
He asked the crowd “do you all think I can walk back on the same rope now from this side to that side?”
Crowed shouted in one voice “Yes, Yes, you can..”
Do you trust me, he asked? They said yes, yes, we are ready to bet on you.
He said okay, can any one of you give your child to sit on my shoulder; I will take the child to the other side safely..
There was stunned silence. Every one became quiet.
Belief is different. Trust is different. For Trust you need to surrender totally.
This is often the relationship towards our Creator, the omnipresence, God …
We believe in Almighty . But do we trust in this power?
This is a very profound message that makes us ponder…
Being authentic is about living to one’s true self, being present as you truly are with confidence and inner conviction.
Being authentic is about acceptance of all of you and being able to acknowledge all your emotions even the difficulties in handling your emotions.
Authenticity stays in your truth often open to the guidance of the intuitive intellect.
Authenticity is about complete integrity in life and living.
When you arrive at being comfortable being yourself, and in front of others, your gifts will shine through and you will make a positive impact on this world.
Have you seen the whales breach
In such confidence they soar upward
They even maneuver a twirl
And fall back in complete trust
In the support of the water below.
How beautiful an example can mother nature give
Of unfolding grace in trust and confidence
Much of our lifes story can be just as beautiful.
When it is in a flow like that
When we rise in success with faith
Being completely confident of our purpose
When we surrender in complete unflinching trust
Knowing there is support and love flowing in the roots.
Why are humans rising and touching the stars?
Why are we progressing phenomenally
Yet why are we crash landing at times?
Why are we failing?
While it is the faith in ourselves that may take us upwards
Bu the lack of trust and support for one another brings us down.
Perhaps we need to learn from water
How to be flexible in its fluidity.
To be adaptable in its buoyancy
And then we too can rise again with every fall.
For inspite of every ability we have …
Support from our family and friends
Matter more than we know!
Wouldn’t you agree?
When you have faith in your roots then every leap of faith is of a trustful knowing
That no matter how far you reach you have a home to come back to!
Life throws curveballs at you when you least expect. Sometimes it may be your own expectations that are set high. Simply adjust your attitude to life and let go of unnecessary expectations.
Choose instead, to keep the faith, trust in yourself and hope for the better.
Life begins to shape up differently.
When you are feeling downhill When you are feeling demoralized When you feeling disappointed When you feeling demotivated
Just remember everything is meant to change.
What is today lasts not forever. What is hurting today will become a faint memory in time. What seems to be important will lose its significance. What is stressful will begin to ease in time.
When the odds are too high They must even out soon enough. Trust time to keep moving Have faith, for one makes way for the other.
A person started to walk on a rope tied between two tall towers at several hundred feet above the ground. He is slowly walking balancing a long stick in his hands. He has his son sitting on his shoulders.
Everyone down were watching him in bated breath and were tensed. He slowly reached the second tower. Everyone clapped, whistled and welcomed him. They shook hands and took selfies.

Belief is different. Trust is different. For Trust, you need total surrender.
This is what we are lacking towards God in today’s world.
Cage not the heart of those who dream of the yonder Beyond the clouds over the hills Their spirit seeks to wander. Across the horizon, their soul belongs
Seek not to hold them For they are way ahead of you already Too swift are their thoughts Too far away are their hearts Too distant are you from them already
Not for them, the mundane chores Not for them, the worldly spoils Not for them, the earthly desires Not for them the meaningless wants
Seek not to find common ground For they have moved on way back in time Neither in dreams or in dare Can there be a parallel Seek not, as your paths are not meant to cross. Let them go, as it is meant to be.
How much are we what we write about
Our thoughts are simply quite complex
Sometimes we are a bundle of contradictions
We may begin to write on a whim
As fancy may catch us sometimes
But we are steered by the thoughts that we think
Sometimes remembered reflections
Sometimes in propulsion of passions
Sometimes aimless fired by default
Sometimes in self awareness
Combining experiences in the life and living.
Within set standards in conformity or in whimsical sentimentality
Where is the turning point?
Where we assemble our thoughts
Amidst the jumble of arising waves
What distinguishes our thoughts
That flow from us in words
To arrange itself in this self arranging life.
In our fractality there is fragility
As much as rigourousness of rigidity
Raising righteousness in morality
Of conscientiousness in the wake of integrity.
And there is no denying the dedication
In single minded focus
In pursuing a thought home
Manifesting through words
Conveyed with a purpose.
In feelings and factuality
Peeling through the layers
There is much of us in what we write
And yet so much a figment of pure imagination
The words may carry our thoughts
But take on a form of their own…
Shaping up as stories
Letting there be a mystery
For all to read and fathom
Of how much is true
And what is fictional?🙂
