Art is a way of life. And when life imitates art or art reflects life there is evolution.
Trees are teaching…witness.
Survival is a matter of sustainability
And if trees can talk (as it is gradually being understood only now )…they would teach us about the interlinked communication and the give and take that is going on in more ways than one between them.

The art of life and living has much to do with reciprocal arrangement as well as collaboration beyond simply competing to survive kind of Darwinism.
One of the greatest learning from ecological observation is that even apparently different forms of plant lifes can be interconnected and interdependent to survive and sustain life.
From not only helping one another through sharing nutrients there is much proof where plants are connected at the roots and helping the boost of immune systems to defend from diseases through an invisible network of pathways.

After all it’s like… while you are bestowed with life..

Nurture nourish and evolve together.

You might as well enjoy the life.
And live creatively enriched!👍🙏🙂

There was a question asked to Ramana Maharishi
Question: What is the best way to treat others?
Ramana: There are no others.
This is the simple truth of life and living well.
If only we can see how we are but reflections of one another then a lot of discrimination will stop right then and there.

Discrimination is the root of conflict.
To think one life as above or below another creates inequalities in mutual treatment and socialization.
Remember to practice non discrimination in life and living.

Dancing and Management

What’s dancing got to do with management
Everything!
Oh, she is a dance teacher!
What will she know about managing a business?
This is the common perception of people in business setups. They have a dismissive attitude towards anyone who comes from a non-aligned field like arts for example.
Personally speaking, as a dance professional for more than two decades, I can certainly say that the experience trains you into a lot more than dancing. It helps develop & cultivate people skills, culture and mindsets, and the ability to empathetically understand attitudes that can be observed in life and living.
Besides, there are common skills that go beyond business management and enter life skills that one needs to navigate life effectively.
Here are a few skills that come to mind immediately…
Dancing movements can open channels of flow which translates into greater energy optimization.

And each dancer may have explored the art of dancing in different forms and its application would have the potential to create a greater depth of understandings.
The value of art may be high, yet the possibilities and the potential application of art are yet undervalued and undermined.
There is so much scope in the art of movement that we can realize. It’s high time to accept that dance education and application has much to offer the world beyond just a stage performance. Great to see radical shifts in the way dance is being perceived across certain parts of the world. But it has to percolate to where all it can matter.
Time to think beyond and open up to these yet underutilized but valuable life management skills.

I went to a hotel. After seeing the menu ordered some food.
After 20 minutes a group of youngsters around 10 people came n sat at the next table and ordered their food.
It arrived in a short while and they started eating speaking very loudly and shouting amongst themselves.
One of them noticed me and said ridiculously that he is having good contacts in that hotel, hence food was served to them immediately and they need not wait like beggars.
I felt insulted and felt like cancelling my order. I called the waiter to do so.
The waiter told me quietly, sir, your order is very special to us. So our chief chef is making it especially for you. Their order was prepared by our trainee chefs in a hurry as your food is getting readied by our chief chef.

So I waited patiently for some more time.
In a short while, 6 bearers brought special food which I never ordered and I was given a royal treatment of very rich food. I was perplexed.
The hotel owner was my school friend. He saw me as I entered. He wanted to surprise me. He changed my simple meal to a rich one and instructed the kitchen to give me a royal treat before meeting me.
The group at the next table saw the service given to me and looked at me in wonderment.
That is life. Some will laugh at us pinpointing our inabilities and ridicule us showing off their wealth, power and happiness.
We may feel sad and disheartened thinking in spite of our hard work and sincerity we never get the breakthrough. Sometimes we get depressed so much that we start to think there is no meaning in this life.
Do not worry.
The owner of the world, the chief chef is preparing something special for us. Hence He makes us wait as it takes time. His plan for is special and only He can plan it.
So we have to wait patiently, doing our duties, till his special menu is served to us. When it comes those who looked down at us and ridiculed will have no word to say.
Stay blessed and enjoy your day
Believe in God.
No one and nothing can prevent what is due to us. It will come at the right time. He has Planned.

Life is both simple and sufficient
Simplicity is hidden
In the clutter and complexity
Sufficiency is hidden
In the grace of gratitude.

Life is strengthened in stability and flexibility.
Stability is hidden
In the chaos and confusion
Flexibility is hidden
In the flow of the structure.

Life is nourished in empathy and compassion.
Empathy is hidden
In the sensing and understanding
Compassion is hidden
In the actions from the heart.

Life is nurtured in Care
Caring is hidden
In love & in goodwill.
Life is a maze of the mysterious
Life is challenging yet resilient.

Life is full of wisdom in the challenges
But wisdom is hidden
In the very truth of life and living.
Life is a puzzle that awaits solution. The solution is found in simply living it.

The Slow Roast….
Need for stringent action!
There is a good amount of data emerging that people are suffering, to various degrees, from living next to cell phone towers and other high-frequency radiation emitting antennas, which emit microwaves around the clock.

According to Professor Franz Adelkofer, a leading scientist in the area of biological effects of EMF fields:
“There is real evidence that hyper frequency electromagnetic fields can have geno-toxic effects. And this damaged DNA is always the cause of cancer.
We’ve found these damaging effects on the genes at levels well below the safety limits. That’s why we think it’s urgent to base our safety limits on the biological effects, not the thermic ones.
They should be based on biology, not on physics.”

There are many mindless advances in technology without ethical considerations, care or concern for human welfare.
It is simple knowledge that with 5G the Roast is turning to Burn… so many researchers agree upon this with documents to support it . And yet the common man is helpless in the face of lurking dangers of modern technologies.
There is so much more than meets the eye when it comes to the topic of radiation and the sources are growing exponentially.

We are being bombarded with wi fi signals and Electro Magnetic frequencies more than we know wherever we are in the world today!.
Not only airports or malls our offices our markets and entertainment zones but also our own homes have become dangerous for our wellbeing.
Where do we go ? What is the answer?
What are your thoughts on this?

Commune with the very depth of your being
Connect with your own breath
Combine with your inate sense of calm
Coexist with nature as it truly is
Cohabit with the element of balance.
Counter the imbalance with patience.

Time settles it all
The key is in waiting
For the perfect moment
Allowing the winds to blow
Chaos plays precursor to stillness
It is the nature of the circle of life.
Sounds reign before silence
Movements arise before stillness
Remember all is in flow
Equilibrium is in the equanimity
Maintaining is the art of sustenance
Let go the expectations
Things fall into place
As they are meant to .

The art of stacking or stone piling is a gift of patience and a grace of thankfulness. Every stone stacked can signify a greater intention, giving into a larger purpose. Although I personally feel we must be careful about this art by not leaving any trail marks in nature, forests as these imprints may confuse or can alter signals for many animals living there. But having said that this art is peaceful and the practice of it can be healing as well.

Creativity is challenged by patience in waiting, giving way to balance in the flow.

Have a look at these amazing artworks by this very famous stone stacking genius.
One thing is very certain, it surely can teach us much about creating calm.

It is amazing how creativity is enhanced by leaps and bounds in the age of the internet . Especially with an app ready for every possibility.
Before the internet, drawing was a skill that was an innate gift or had to be honed by years of practical training. Back then artistry was challenging and time-consuming and most of all needed patience and dedication.
Having developed a bit of interest in artistic pursuits I remember enrolling in courses to learn the art of embossing and decorating pots, learning the intricate art of henna on the hand as well as joining a fabric designing course at a very famous and leading fashion institute of those times which I truly enjoyed and excelled in. And I remember using the understanding to create and sell my artworks and being rewarded not only monetarily but also emotionally through the contentment of creativity becoming tangible. The course of learning and experiencing it all was truly very fascinating indeed.
Today I draw a parallel on how one has to know how at the touch of a phone, the apps take you through the course at the speed you want, you can erase the art you create and redo at will, as often as you fancy. And most of all your drawings get texture, special effects and animation and you can even create a live 3d model for you to touch and sense!

Technology can charm the living daylights of you indeed!
Yet there are certain senses that are not touched upon…
The feel of holding a brush of colour, it flowing on the paper, and at times may be in error and you working around it creatively.
The sense of proportion in actually mixing medium and paints and getting the right shade.
The touch of canvas or other mediums and the way it feels after the painting.

The simple satisfaction of being able to feel connected to your artwork right through it all. It creates an intimate relationship between the art and the artist.
To be fair Art today has evolved along the way, there is computer precision and ease of use through applications that take artmaking to infinite possibilities.
The potential of an artist can increase leaps and bounds and endless pieces and options of colour choices can be churned out at the touch of a few keys. Everything is customisable giving the advantage to both the artist as much as the customer.
The scope and reach of creativity through Art is definitely increasing and that is a development worth noting. Everyone can create amazing art now unlike before. And that is quite an interesting phenomenon. Knowledge is openly accessible for the user.

In spite of the amazing advantages of technology, human emotional and creative connect is yet a challenge.
But nevertheless, I have chanced upon apps that give a great sense & feel of creating art.
Sharing a few of my earlier artworks.

Every life is uniquely endowed with perspectives and experiences.
A living book is a human who shares his life’s stories and wisdom with willingness with another interested individual.
If the conversation is interesting the living book is read some more but if it does not meet the requirements of the individual reader, he is free to get up and find another living book to meet and connect.
Living books library concept is an interesting way to bring together learnings from life experiences directly on a one to one basis and a group setting. The conversation depends on what you want to understand and turn it towards.
Life teaches us much and every human can benefit from unedited direct soul to soulful connects where words flow at the moment.
In such connection is the transparency of truth that is glaringly stark from a book of prewritten words arranged in a format predesigned to sell in the market.
Life is so much than being a business.
In these discussions, the reader or the learner and the living book are both free to direct the course of the conversation without constraints.
Unlike a regular library of books, the human library is a gathering of humans and is event-based.
There are many functioning human book libraries all around the world today.
The concept began in Copenhagen Denmark in 2000. The idea is to be nonjudgemental and engage in a dialogue that helps break barriers and social prejudices. The human book could be anyone who has a story to tell and is ready to share it. Or someone who has gone through any kind of discrimination and wants to share their experiences openly.
So next time you want to explore the idea of reading a book, consider and lookout for opportunities to connect with a human book!

A dance speaks much without words.
A look, a stance, a tug, a step
There is energy playing in every move.
And energy speaks without words.
Every dancer creates energy.
Movements convey in the emoting.
The essence of the moves.
For every dance has a story!

How are you going to reach the tree of knowing?
The climb is not a cake walk
It is tough to balance on the way up or down.
You are at the base.
And yet you are not grounded.
In the knowing that sets you free.
At times you climb almost all the way.
But think twice about entering its core
For it is demanding.
Life never comes with a planbook
All happens in the living.
All is meant to flow along the way.
Things refine or distort
To change or transform
Into new paths of purpose.
All, a leap of faith
To reach beyond knowing.
