Live Life Lovingly!

Waves of change.

In the journey with time
Life’s toughest battles
Always find a way.
Life goes on no matter
Paving the path
To find solutions
Along the way.

The wisdom of resilience
Is to acknowledge
The circle of life
Remember the challenges
Always surface a solution
Underneath the giant shadow of trees
Mushrooms possibilities of hope.

In difficult moments
Think of life
As ocean waves
Waltzing with the tides

Highs and lows
Are both part of the flow
Think of yourself
Realize you are
Not just in the flow
You are the flow

Sense the surge
Of empowerment
Flooding through you
In this very thought
You have it all within you
To steer through
The troubled waters
To bridge through the gaps
And find a way.

To rise above
The tumultuous waves
Always know
There is hope
In the horizon across
Light shines
Beyond the darkest night.
Change is the only constant
Like night and day
Nature shows the way.

Tumbling down
Is temporary
Flipping over
Is a fraction of a moment.
Eventually leading
To new beginning
In hope and trust.
For all is in flux
Course through
Sail through the waves
With a heart full of hope.

Free?

Freedom to be…

Every life deserves the dignity of being

Freedom to be respected as they are ,

Freedom, to be valued and feel safe and secure, as every other human being .

Are you…

Free to express yourself as you are?

Free to share without fear?

Free to find yourself ?

Free to think for yourself?

Know then that the world needs

Your uniqueness as you are…

Now more than ever before!

There is a pool

I received this beautiful photo capture years ago, and I cherish it. Everytime I see it, it speaks to me.

A few musings…

There is a pool
I often sit by
with my thoughts
In fact all of me.

Its a pool that inspires
Creativity in collaboration
Its a pool that invites
Connections in association.

A pool of collectives
That move me beyond
The rut of mediocrity
To an all expansive space.

A pool of equanimity
That keeps me balanced
A pool centered inside
That aligns it all to the core.

A pool is an interesting place, as it is allowing yet contained. The circle of thoughts, in a pool allow space of contemplation.

Without the hurry and haste, to sense the moment as it is.

Every now and then choose to sit with/by your own pool of peace sensing the peace you already have.

To all the dancers

To all the dancers and those who choose to waltz with life….

As dancers we are a lucky lot!
We are totally able to dance with time…
Move with it on time,
Or take the offbeat road to reverse and revel the joy of reflections in the rivers of time.

On Acceptance

The Road to Acceptance has many challenges in the learnings… not often easy, but certainly transforming in one way or the other.

Like there are many aspects to understanding
In acceptance there are many perspectives
Acceptance is not giving up or being in the same place.
To me a practice of acceptance is an ability to respect the now and in turn acknowledge the transient nature of everything.
To accept then is to be able to have a feel or a vision of the situation as it is experienced in the now.

The Paradox of acceptance is being defenseless to yin and yangs of life and living. Yet to envision that acceptance comes from a place of strength, is to be able to understand that we are not one entity but made of many parts that matter to the whole.
So the stance of acceptance is about flow & movements in the stillness , in hope to evolve in time along with the changes.

Making peace with the now

On letting go ….

Making peace with the now,

Very easy, they say.

Follow the breath,

And peace flows.

Yet…

We all know

That it is quite a task

To be consistent.

That’s how life is!

Such is truth in itself

In this now

As every moment

Gives in to the new.

We are meant to be,

To learn and unlearn.

Our senses,

Our emotions

Challenge us in the changes.

Our system takes a toll;

Our beliefs turn around

In soul searching ways…

And then, we learn to see

The moment as it presents itself.

All judgements and assumptions,

All prejudices and preconceived notions

Fade away into the oblivion.

We live in this moment.

In engagement again

But with this now,

Without forgetting what has gone

But forgiving times bygone.

For only then, we make space,

For peace to flow in…

Own your breath

Inhale the good

Let go the spurious

Anything that never matters

Is bound to bounce off.

What is necessary receive

With atmost regard.

Your breathe holds the key

Unlock the healing potential

As you breathe deeper

With all of your awareness

In every inhale and exhale.

Breathe in peace.

There is a place

That fills you with positivity

Enriches you with expansiveness

Embodies inclusiveness.

Enough to keep your faith going.

Endowed with trustfulness

Believe in possibilities.

A place of potential value

Thats nurturing in itself.

That lights the way forward.

A place that speaks to all of you!

A beautiful place called hope!

Signs

There are signs that seem to appear

Out of nowhere

That make us hope, have faith

That help retain our trust

That shows the way

In our darkest hours.

There is a communion

Of our senses with our soul

A beautiful serendipitous wave

That washes through us

To bring clarity along the way.

The truth is always with you…

Guiding us to believe

To see the bigger picture.

To know nothing is accidental

There is always something more.

A Cup Of Cheer

Someone the other day asked me, are you a coffee or tea person.

I wonder…

All my life so far, have never been a coffee or tea person.
But of late I am sensing what a cup of steaming hot goodness can do for my spirit.

It’s not a tea or coffee that I want,
Its a cup of cheer, that soothes me and rejuvenates me .
Sure its not a habit so far , but it certainly good to pause every once in a while and take a sip and sense the world a little bit more in time.

My favorites …

I love the plain old ginger lemon & honey tea. Or even like a herb/ spice infused cinammon tea!

As for coffee very rarely, I enjoy the aroma of filtered South Indian coffee.

But the reason I drink a cup of goodness and what I would want most is…

Something that warms my heart
Something that sweetens my thoughts
Something that allows me to pause
To rest a while to gather my self.

What about you?
Are you a coffee or tea person?
Do you need it as your morning wake me up?
Do you have a craving for tea or coffee?
Do share if you are fond of coffee or tea & why?

Becons of Hope

Your choice to be who you are

Rests with you.

You choose the way you behave

Your attitude to life is your own.

Your behavior is yours to own.

Show up for yourself

Choose to be the best you can!

Choose to leave a heart print of hope

Whenever you can

Wherever you are.

The world will thank your being.

For thats what the world needs most.

On Awakenings

Awaken the spirit
From the slumber
Arise to a new day
As you begin a new way
Acknowledge the circle of life
Of awareness in the awakenings
That’s all-encompassing in flow
Than just inward or just outward
Live with hope of transcending
The limitations of knowing the self.

What is beautiful?

Here is a beautiful forward that caught my eye.

When they asked her to reveal her beauty secrets, Audrey Hepburn wrote this beautiful text that was later read at her funeral.

′′ To have attractive lips, speak kind words.

To have a loving look, look for the good side of people.

To look skinny, share your food with the hungry.

To have beautiful hair, let a child cross it with his own fingers once a day.

To have a beautiful poise, walk knowing you’re never alone, because those who love and loved you accompany you.

People, even more than objects, need to be fixed, spoiled, awakened, wanted and saved: never give up on anyone.

Remember, if you ever need a hand, you’ll find them at the end of both your arms.

When you become old, you will discover that you have two hands, one to help yourself, the second to help others.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, in her face or in her way of fixing her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the door open to her heart, the source of her love.

The beauty of a woman doesn’t lie in her makeup, but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.

It is the tenderness that gives love, the passion that it expresses.

The beauty of a woman grows over the years ′′
