We need to see beyond survival We need to go beyond adapting We need to transform our life Beyond the present perceptions That we are conditioned by We need to release the fear and anxiety And apprehensions that we are living with We need to build the peace with in.
We can touch transcendence Through faith, prayers & meditations For insights to stabilize and get embodied In such a stage of conscious presence As we build our self awareness We vibrate and tune into new frequencies We hear and listen more and evolve In our unique journeys.

Your energy is expansive Sense the synergies Allow yourself to explore possibilities The expansiveness of the spirit within Light the pathway for others to follow.
T’WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, HE LIVED ALL ALONE, IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE, MADE OF PLASTER AND STONE. … I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY, WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE, AND TO SEE JUST WHO, IN THIS HOME, DID LIVE.
I LOOKED ALL ABOUT, A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE, NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS, NOT EVEN A TREE.
NO STOCKING BY MANTLE, JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND, ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES, OF FAR DISTANT LANDS.
WITH MEDALS AND BADGES, AWARDS OF ALL KINDS, A SOBER THOUGHT, CAME THROUGH MY MIND.
FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT, IT WAS DARK AND DREARY, I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER, ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY.
THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING, SILENT, ALONE, CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR, IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME.
THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE, THE ROOM IN DISORDER, NOT HOW I PICTURED, A TRUE AUSSIE SOLDIER.
WAS THIS THE HERO, OF WHOM I’D JUST READ? CURLED UP ON A PONCHO, THE FLOOR FOR A BED?
I REALISED THE FAMILIES, THAT I SAW THIS NIGHT, OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS, WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT.
SOON ROUND THE WORLD, THE CHILDREN WOULD PLAY, AND GROWNUPS WOULD CELEBRATE, A BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DAY.
THEY ALL ENJOYED FREEDOM, EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR, BECAUSE OF THE SOLDIERS, LIKE THE ONE LYING HERE.
I COULDN’T HELP WONDER, HOW MANY LAY ALONE, ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE, IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME.
THE VERY THOUGHT BROUGHT, A TEAR TO MY EYE, I DROPPED TO MY KNEES, AND STARTED TO CRY.
THE SOLDIER AWAKENED, AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE, “SANTA DON’T CRY, THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE;
I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM, I DON’T ASK FOR MORE, MY LIFE IS MY GOD, MY COUNTRY, MY CORPS..”
THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER, AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP, I COULDN’T CONTROL IT, I CONTINUED TO WEEP.
I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS, SO SILENT AND STILL, AND WE BOTH SHIVERED, FROM THE COLD NIGHT’S CHILL.
I DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE, ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT, THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR, SO WILLING TO FIGHT.
THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER, WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE, WHISPERED, “CARRY ON SANTA, IT’S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE.”
ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH, AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT. “MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND, AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT.”
This poem was written by a Peacekeeping soldier stationed overseas. The following is his request. I think it is reasonable
“PLEASE. Would you do me the kind favour of sending this to as many people as you can? Christmas will be coming soon and some credit is due to all of the service men and women for our being able to celebrate these festivities. Let’s try in this small way to pay a tiny bit of what we owe. Make people stop and think of our heroes, living and dead, who sacrificed themselves for us. Please, do your small part to plant this small seed.”
This lovely picture above by award winning photographer, Steve McCurry, of National Geographic fame, tells a story. Steve was passing through the Rajasthan, India desert by taxi, when he was caught in a furious dust storm. This is when he spotted a group of women in a huddle trying to brave its fury. The only way they could protect themselves was by taking support of one another. It had not rained in the region for 13 years and a dust storm like this forebode coming rains. While life hung precariously in this devastating storm, together they not only could fight it, but even sang happily on the prospect of possible rains. What better metaphor to show that women have the inherent strength and resilience to literally brave any storm and also at the same time rejoice on the positive side of even the most hostile situation. Together we stand. .. !!!
I came across this striking picture and story on Social Media and I just felt like sharing this today.
The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind.
The astronomer may speak to you of his understanding of space, but he cannot give you his understanding.
The musician may sing to you of the rhythm which is in all space, but he cannot give you the ear which arrests the rhythm nor the voice that echoes it.
And he who is versed in the science of numbers can tell of the regions of weight and measure, but he cannot conduct you thither.
For the vision of one man lends not its wings to another man. And even as each one of you stands alone in God’s knowledge, so must each one of you be alone in his knowledge of God and in his understanding of the earth.
Kahlil Gibran…
One of my favorite writers with profound words of wisdom.
I had been introduced to his books as a teenager but have revisited his works especially ‘ The Prophet ‘ many times just to soak in the learnings.
Learning is best done in willingness & curiosity to explore the beyond.
Teaching is best done in understanding the learnings and the learner.
Learning never stops it is like a river that flows…
The teacher creates curiosity for learning takes you to the river banks of knowledge and then allows you to quench your thirst, assimilate the learning to expand your horizons of learning.
Awareness happens in evolution In coherence of the changes In the circle of life and living All is in a constant flux of changes
In Awareness is the acknowledgement Of all that is was and will be As it seems, appears and may seem to appear or present itself
The plan is simple Allow Awareness to flow Embody in acknowledgement. In acceptance in accordance In consciousness of connection That manifest itself In the evolutionary plan.
Awareness may seem sporadic or even momentary But truly it is building itself in time Connecting dots in the pathway Beyond indifference towards coherence of the interconnects.
What is, is not all There is always more in hope That can manifests in time. All that is needed is patience And perseverance While imbibing in awareness.
