As we celebrate our Independence day in India, may we care to value the underlying philosophy behind the word Independence … the ability to voice our uniqueness and express our individuality amidst a global platform.
Truly, Independence is a birthright that allows us to freely express ourselves, but along with it, is a sense of responsibility, a duty to empower the within as much as the world .
Channelizing the creative flow of freedom of expression to positive outcomes for the larger good is a responsibility for every individual. It is actually the simple way to create a life of well being with in and around each of us and for the world at large .
As we are after all an interdependent world even in our states of independence…. that to me is valuing and practicing Conscious Independence.
Happy Independence Day!!!
May we always Dance the dance of independence and freedom.
May we tune ourselves to connect with joys in tandem.
May we always remember and value great souls lost in martyrdom.
May we acknowledge that the strength in the interdependence is never random.
May we always respect our roots and learn to follow our inner wisdom.
I admire the spirit of trees
& want to live learning from it.
I want to be one with the tree
But I do not want to be a tree…
For if every man becomes a tree
Who would be there to nurture & witness their beauty?
Trees need us and we need them. There is synergy dancing between us.
As we care to nourish the nature around us.
We are nourished back by nature.
We are born to live along with trees
They are lifes longings for itself
Like our sons and daughters
They are fragile and strong
And share untold wisdom within
And live sharing themselves.
They protect us with their shade
as much as they nourish us with their bearings.
In the strength of their interconnects we realise
The value in the interdependence.
They are because we are
We are because they are!
Celestial Creation & Destruction Dances hand in hand in Energetic, enigmatic endless flow. Formless blending into The Form. Gift to Cosmos. Unfathomed Happiness undermines the In-depth, concealed caring of Justice to prevail, in the Knowing of the Unknown all. Lasya ( dance of creation) and thandava (dance of destruction) both Merging in and emerging from Nataraja,The Cosmic Dancer. Oneness personified in essence. Purity and Power as its source. Quietude emerging in the motion. Rare culmination of creative Subtlety of concealed infinity.
‘Thathwamasi,’ , that’s the Truth. Unknown, Unsaid n Unseen Visions of Ultimate Reality. Worlds far and beyond knowledge Xceeds the human excellence. Yearning _’To be with IT ‘ is all one can wish with the Zeal of unwavering Faith .
This is a poem penned by my dear mother Anjana. I share it with a lot of joy as found it spiritually and creatively appealing.
I simply loved its amalgamation and the interplay of life and living just as much as the interplay of verses in alphabetical order.
Naṭarājameaning“the lord of dance”) is a depiction of the Hindu god Shiva as the cosmic ecstatic dancer. … TheNataraja reliefs have been represented in metal or stone in many temples, particularly in South India as well as identified in historic artwork from many parts of South Asia, in southeast Asia such as in Bali, Cambodia, and in central Asia.(Source Wiki)

The ultimate truth is we are one and interconnected with every thing in this dance in sublimity.
Everything we do , everything we think we own, all returns back to the source some day. In knowing this truth we need to sense gratitude for what is … and that is one of the secrets to living life lovingly!
Towards Clarity
Converging from all directions.
With unformed shapes, unlinked thoughts. Merging at the centre as a Guiding Star
The sign of hope, light and promise for a positive tomorrow, filled with joy n cheer.
You are a tiny speck in the multitude of multiverses around. Your life circle is what you are bound to create in your lifetime.
As life happens you will be drawn from your roots in various ways. New people and experiences will in time add new thoughts and dimensions of behaviour and you may perhaps feel a little or a lot away from your centre. In fact you may find yourself lost in your way . Rest assured that it can happen to one and all.
The patterns you draw are unique to you. You are your own choicemaker.
And as for the challenges in the paths that open…they are your life’s way of testing your faith in your path and providence. As you move forth to spread your wings to take the flight and experience time, be sure to keep a track of your center of being. Let it be your internal guide to bring yourself into balance.
The so called paths are open to all explore. The truth is out there and within you at the same time in the same moment. All is found is striking the balance.
The circle of life bears the wisdom of balance. The centre is the core and as you strive to balance the self towards your centre, your circle is strengthened by the interconnects of one’s own circle of being. And yet as you strive to reach out to others circle’s of being in the grids of connection, the circle of connections gets stronger in between while new dimensions are interpolated.
A few reflections…
Your life is not your own. Thinking so is an illusion.
You are meant to be all that you can be.
You have a purpose that is larger than your self .
You are meant to live and reach out and expand the self
You are meant to to merge and emerge in the new circles of connection.
The choice of being in true to yourself is yours to make
The patterns you create help expand the universe .
The connections you make in your lifetime leave a pattern in the grid for another to sense and evolve in time .
No two patterns are alike as the patterns are unique to your being.
Your purpose then is to live your life to the best of yourself.
Reach out to make connections and experience the realms while staying true to your centre.
As you learn your way back home, more will to find their way back home in time and space continumn.
From the point of saturation Emerges a point of co relation To ponder afresh on a point of connection. The saturation plays a role In the game of life and living
In breaking dawn and dusk The twilight fills the day and night With a hope and bliss of something new Just as day breaks from Evening dusks into a blissful night The breaking point signifies a new start
The twilight confuses and confounds The wisest of beings, as it is meant to do For in that point of no return There is the chaos of completion. Only to begin afresh and anew.
In the passage of painful times into pleasurable moments In the eras of darkness to deliverance In the moments of night to day! Lights seeps in and saturation sublimes The dark clouds shifting perspectives. Birthing a new breaking point Of a brand new dawn!
Every once in a while you come across a share of some very beautiful thoughts that makes you gratefully pause and reflect on the wisdom in those words that have come by.
The following quote is sent by a very caring, thoughtful friend and supportive reader of my blogs and writings for the past few years and it sets me thinking…
“When you love someone, you do not love them all the time, in exactly the same way, from moment to moment. It is an impossibility. It is even a lie to pretend to. And yet this is exactly what most of us demand. We have so little faith in the ebb and flow of life, of love, of relationships. We leap at the flow of the tide and resist in terror its ebb. We are afraid it will never return. We insist on permanency, on duration, on continuity; when the only continuity possible, in life as in love, is in growth, in fluidity – in freedom, in the sense that the dancers are free, barely touching as they pass, but partners in the same pattern.”
~ Anne Morrow Lindbergh
A beautiful share that says so much in these words…
On life and relationships On love and living On fear and frenzy On needs and wants On obsessions and compulsions On freedom & fluidity of movement All a pattern in this dance of life.
We are often the very reason for pain for another by the way we behave and yet are so impatient and intolerant in our need for love and approval.
We desire forgiveness by others quickly for what we have done or said knowingly or unknowingly as we aren’t patient.
We want to untangle the knots in our stomach little wondering if the noose on anothers neck, through our words, has tightened the very breath of the being.
We want to be free but we want to cage the very expression of freedom of another in the name of love which are nothing but power games we play.
We think we own another and have the rigbt to demand of another, citing relationships in bonds of blood and brotherhood or an economic and financial control in dependence.
But how can we demand of another when we cannot be assured of our own next breath?
We can learn to be more allowing to accept.
We can learn to be caring not controlling.
We can learn to love than be lackadaisical of another’s needs.
We can learn to learn to be trustful.
We can learn to believe in evolving together.
We can learn to sense the wisdom in the challenges.
We can learn to trade our fears for faith.
We can learn to stop bullying another into submission.
We can learn to live and let live.
No one owns us and we certainly do not own another.
Immense is the power of creative movements to balance the body mind and spirit.
We are all creative beings. We need to honour our creativity we need to find avenues to let go express and share what comes natural to us. In that is a healing and restoring beyond compare…
Ingenuity of man is fascinating indeed But when coupled with the passion it leaves quite an imprint ….
Here’s a testament of a love story finding a fixture in reality .
Have you heard of the STATUES OF LOVE
Located in Batumi, Georgia, the statue of lovers begin to move every night at 7 p.m.And the two figures represent a Muslim boy, Ali, and a Georgian princess, Nino, from a famous 1937 novel by Azerbaijani author Kurban Said. The tragic story ends with the lovers separated by the invasion of Soviet Russia. This powerful love story has been translated into more than 30 languages.
“Man and Woman” is a 8 meter (26 foot) tall moving steel sculpture by Georgian sculptor Tamara Kvesitadze.
