An Illusory Life

I wonder…


Where is the beginning


Of illusion in this illusory world?

In the many facets of life and living

Blending hues and tones

In Connection beyond compare

And yet unsure when asked

Where is the blend & breakpoint


In this ephemeral existence?


We are vulnerable beings


In this so called reality


Trying to understand

This illusory life


To the best of our abilities


To be all we can be!

Yet sublime is the point of saturation


Like the subtlety  of twilight zones


We are left wondering the why, when,what, who & how…

Of the ascent of light and the descents


Like how the morning breaks in.


Showering upon us the light of a new dawn.


Dawn to dusk,dusk to dawn


Creating the Circles of being


Life happens and we goes on…

Keeping the wonder alive!

Illusions in the Reflections

Reflections in the stillness

On a patch of water

Reflections of sunlight

On a passing cloud

Reflecting colours

We humans have named…

The truth of clarity

Is the freedom in the uncertain

What seems to be, may not be

What is, may be not

What is apparent, may be invisible

What is assumption, may become a contradiction

Or simply delusions of our own imagination.

Or simply a clarity of illusions in the reflections.

Was watching the reflections of sunlight dancing on this patch of water on the window sill of my terrace one evening. I was mesmerized by the fleeting cloud it had captured and its amazing colours that held my fancy for a long while…

The Suitcase

The Suitcase

A man died, when he realized it, he saw God coming closer with a suitcase in his hand.
– God said: Alright son its time to go.
– surprised the man responded: Now? So soon? I had a lot of plans…
– I’m sorry but its time to go.

– What do you have in that suitcase? the man asked.
– God answered: Your belongings.
– My belongings? you mean my things, my clothes, my money?
-God answered: Those things were not yours they belonged to the earth.

– Is it my memories? the man asked.
-God answered: those never belonged to you they belonged to Time

– Is it my talents?
-God answered: those were never yours they belonged to the circumstances.

– Is it my friends and family?
-God answered: I’m sorry they were never yours they belonged to the path.

– Is it my wife and son?
– God answered: They were never yours the belonged to your heart.

– Is it my body?
– God answered: that was never yours it belonged to the dust.

-Is it my soul?
God answered: No that is mine.

Full of fear, the man took the suitcase from god and opened it just to find out the suitcase was empty.
– With a tear coming down his cheek the man said: I never had anything???
-God answered: that is correct, every moment you lived were only yours. Life is just a moment. a moment that belongs to you. For this reason enjoy this time while you have it. Don’t let anything that you think you own stop you from doing so.
-Live Now
-Live your life
– Don’t forget to be happy, that is the only thing that matters.
– Material things and everything else that you fought for stay here.
-YOU CAN’T TAKE ANYTHING

Mystic of life

A dear friend shared this picture on social Media and it left me contemplating…

We are born to connect

In one way or other

For a purpose larger

Than our individual self

There is light that we have

That we ourselves may not know

The potential of, that manifests

To serve at the right time.

There is always a reason

For this now, so rise above despair

And look onward and upward

The way is forward in faith

To live and help heal some more.

No wonder its said ‘Hands that help

Is holier than lips that pray…’

We are carriers of hope

That pass on for posterity

Our life is intricately weaved

In every moment of our being

Through the echelons of time

For a reason, we may or never know

Such is the ‘Mystic of life’

In all its brilliant manifestations.

Is the beguiling beauty of nature
Meant to have its own purpose
Afterall,everything is connected
Nothing is accidental.

However free in abandon we may feel
In this moment, we are bound
By the laws of nature
And its in these tangible connects
In being part of nature
We are deeply disturbed
By the imbalances of nature.

All of animaldom chooses harmonious
Coexistence with natures laws.
Unlike humans who try to outsmart nature and its ways.
Yet nature nourishes and nurtures itself in every now.
Such is the truth of life and living in nature.

High time to evolve with the lessons
nature shares.
Know that there is always a reason
To the way things are…

What we cannot see with our eyes
Nature of nature, emotes through our senses
Leaving the heart imprints,

Evolving with time

Evolving with time

In the warp and weft of time.

As the clock ticks on its own tune,

The harmony moves in tandem

To the beats of the marching song.

Time and tide waits for none, they say,

But to accept the changes,

Exactly where you are, is to adapt

To the nature of seasonal shifts.

To begin to understand the dots

Is to connect to the bigger picture,

Is to know there is more to every frame.

Time to unravel the ununderstood —

Take the path of the envisioning,

The construction, than destruction;

Choose to decipher the genius plan

And trust the evolving patterns of life and living.

Growth creates changes along with opportunities galore

That can go out of hand, easily.

For in the space of unprecedented growth,

One needs checks and balances

To grow and evolve

Without losing control.

The evolving world is no longer linear

But more viscerally attuned

To a multi-dimensional phase,

To sync in harmony,

Tuning towards an evolutionary pathway.

What is beautiful?

Here is a beautiful forward that caught my eye.

When they asked her to reveal her beauty secrets, Audrey Hepburn wrote this beautiful text that was later read at her funeral.

′′ To have attractive lips, speak kind words.

To have a loving look, look for the good side of people.

To look skinny, share your food with the hungry.

To have beautiful hair, let a child cross it with his own fingers once a day.

To have a beautiful poise, walk knowing you’re never alone, because those who love and loved you accompany you.

People, even more than objects, need to be fixed, spoiled, awakened, wanted and saved: never give up on anyone.

Remember, if you ever need a hand, you’ll find them at the end of both your arms.

When you become old, you will discover that you have two hands, one to help yourself, the second to help others.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, in her face or in her way of fixing her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the door open to her heart, the source of her love.
