Your Calling

Speaking of my passions…

As for me beyond traveling, learning, writing, reading & writing & sharing a few musings every day, it certainly is a mix of different things…

From creating Art to Painting, Training Consultancy, Ballroom Dancing ,Volleyball, Poetry, as much as conversations with people. Infact I am passionate about whatever work I am doing in the moment. I have enjoyed giving it my full attention with all of me.

Everything connects

Every day is full of new learnings in whatever one does. And have often sensed the strength of the interconnects in these passionate pursuits.

Have had many personal experiences where I have sensed how in the heart of the arts is all science and the core of science is all art.

Whenever I have dedicatedly pursued any work or hobby with passionate perseverance I have found that I have all the patience at my disposal to nurture what I do… Life is far more interesting and even bearable as you are driven by your calling or purpose. Am sure you can relate to this somewhere in your life.

Today…

Just a little bloom

Caught my attention

Sparkling with brightness

On the edge of a sidewalk

The bloom made me turn around

And capture its striking beauty!

Conveying a message to me

Just bloom from where you are.

Be the best version of you

Who is meant to, will walk your way

The world will turn to notice after all.

Embrace the complexities

As much as the simplicities


Life is beautiful yet challenging


In every now there is pain & pleasure


In understanding this wisdom


Moderation of thinking is possible


Life is absurd as much as it is vivid


Sometimes the next step is unclear


And yet every step leads to more


Life continues its path in the living


From darkness to light


Changing in every moment


Remember to be grateful


To the challenges and complexity


As without them the simple doesn’t appear


To realize the value of one another


We need to respect  its significance


For each has a reason to be!

On Spontaneity

Paradox of Perfection

Words are all I

Have to share

Writing is a flow

Of it’s own doing

If I have to wait

To think it over & over

Perhaps I could lose

The spontaneity of it all!

Sometimes in the jotting

The journey of thoughts

Begins to ebb & flow

And it’s best to allow

The spillage of thoughts

Sometimes structured

At times haphazardly

Words manifests itself

The Writing journey

Is a paradoxical one

Of ups and downs

Of chaos and confusion

Of sorting through thoughts

Meandering through the maze

A lot like living life

For ultimately in time

The puzzle fits

And all gets figured out.

Agatha Christie

My friend Laura Bailey from Linked In shared this post in dedication to the memory of Agatha Christie on her birthday. 15 th September.

During my schooling years I had been introduced to her novels and have been an avid reader of her works.

But I never had a face to the name until I saw this post. When I saw her in this post share here are my musings…

They say eyes are a window to the soul

I see a depth of wisdom

In her eyes, of many lives lived

Of experiences in the sharings

There is myriad mysteries

Yet untold and withheld.

The face contours speaks to me

Of a life of reservation

And perhaps some restraints

Yet the eyes conjure up the creativity

Of an insightful nature

That envisions the beyond.

The places & people

Of a knowing beyond this lifetime

So much a face can mirror!
