Circle of life and living Nature leaves many lessons The falling leaves Are an excellent metaphor…
Learning to let go In hope, trust and faith Of the balance the circle Is an indicator of the adaptability.
Business is a big leap of faith In every business That has thrived and survive Inspite of the changing seasons.
Seeds to a plant Plant to a tree Trees begin maturing Like life is meant to flow….
Buisness too are meant to grow As the processes are strengthened Nourishing &nurturing the foundation Harnessing synergies in the energies.
There is growth in the momentum. There are dependences and beliefs But like the nature of life Old has to make space for the new…
To flourish and sustain The seasonal setbacks And survive the storms In the winds of changes.
In the blooming and blossoming There in is the budding of new ideas Like ideas that flow by nurturing Life is meant to flow…by nature Such is the circle of life and living.
These verses came forth after reading a very thoughtful share by my dear friend @Ali Anani , who mentioned rightly so that the post might be of interest to me…. so to him dedicate this post in gratitude 🙏
Once a Crow, holding on to a piece of meat was flying to a place to sit & eat peacefully…
However, a flock of Eagles who were flying nearby started chasing it. The crow became scared & anxious. It started flying higher and higher, yet the much stronger eagles were after the poor crow.
Just then “Garuda” saw the plight and pain in the eyes of the crow. Coming closer to the crow, he asked:
“What’s wrong, dear? You seem to be very “disturbed” and in terrible “stress”?”..
The crow cried “Look at these eagles!! They are after me – to kill me”.
Garuda being the bird of wisdom spoke “Oh my friend!! They are not after you to kill you!! In fact, they are after that piece of meat that you are holding tightly in your beak”. Just drop it and see what happens.
The crow followed the advice of Garuda and dropped the piece of meat, and lo & behold..
All the eagles in a mad rush flew towards the falling meat.
Garuda smiled and said “The Pain is only till you hold on to it” Just Drop” it & release the “Pain”..
The crow just bowed and said “Thank You for your wise advice.. I dropped this piece of meat & now, I can fly even higher without tension..”
*There is a message in this story for all of us :*
1. People carry the huge burden called “Ego,” which creates a false identity about oneself, like – ” I am so & so, I should be loved, I need to be respected, I need to be invited.. etc… ..
_Just Drop_ – this silly “Ego” & assumption about yourself & see what happens..
2. People get irritated instantly by “others actions or words” .. It could be anyone – friend, parents, children, colleagues, spouse etc….. and instantly the sparks of Anger get ignited & one starts fuming ..
_Just Drop…._ this senseless “negative feeling” & see what happens..
3. People compare themselves with others.. in beauty, wealth, life style, marks, talent and appraisals and get disturbed & insecure…
forgetting the fact that We must be grateful with what we have … ..”
_Just Drop_…- these silly comparisons, negative emotions & see what happens..
Some people are attached in a negative way to their jobs, their material possessions, their dear ones..which creates more harm than good..
_Just Drop_..detach yourself.. drop the burden of attachment & see what happens..
Probably, that’s the reason why in temples ash (vibuthi) is given to devotees – To constantly remind us.. we are nothing but dust.
*_We have risen from the Dust & unto Dust we shall return.._*
Every person we meet has a story to tell In there is an understanding that one life is not more important than the other. Every life has a reason to be. Life is unique in the way it unfolds We may never know what the next moment entails The questions that arise in the living Are meant to ignite a thought for a reason..
A few lines I wrote on nature perhaps can be mentioned here in this context as well. Nature has many learnings for us to imbibe When mountains form it creates its valleys too Sometimes higher the mountains the deeper its valleys and What we see from the top of the mountain and what we see from the valley may differ Both perspectives may exist in the course of life and living It all depends on where one is moving in the journey of life Sometimes we find ourselves in depths of despair And at times in the pinnacle of pleasure. Both are transient as change is the only constant. To acknowledge it and move on is hardest to do For even though we may forgive how can we forget But the sooner we reckon that life cannot stand still The faster the recovery, for much is in the awareness… Love and hate exists side by side Fear and freedom are in the same moment Courage comes as a saviour In the deepest of suffering. To every question that life throws up in the living Every Life has its own answers to find in the living. The trick is in trusting life to give the answers one seeks in its own way. In between what we choose to let go And what we choose to hold on We create our own life in the living.
Learn to live for this moment. Do not take the residue with u. Let it pass, You just carry on. Another moment is there to live and let go. The residue comes with us as happy and sad memories of the past and most of our life we dwell and chew on them and act accordingly.
Observe life with detachment, with the understanding that nothing is permanent. Change is the nature of the universe, so that the cycle continues. The atoms in the whole universe keep on changing, what you experience is also gone along with that. Then why burden the self with all the memories, just let it go. Feel and experience the new atoms with each changing moment. Feel light as there is no burden You are carrying. The more you carry, the more dense and tense you become. Leave it. Lighter you become and it will help you to see the light of liberation.
