Live Life Lovingly!

Way of being

You show who you are

By the way you treat people…

Especially those who in a way

Have done wrong by you

Who didn’t treat you good

Who were nasty and mean

Who were happy by your loss

Especially these people

Treat them as well as others

Share goodwill from your heart ❤

Without expectations, be kind

Even with the most critical

They will come around.

Just trust in yourself

And your way of being.

Art of Storytelling.

Stories telling is an art

Not just the story

But the way you say it

When you say it

How you say it

To whom and why

Stories have much depth

Than what’s apparent to us.

Here is one such story worth a study!😀

Enjoy the humour…

Finest example of presence of mind!.

A Professor started his class on a very serious Topic. The moment he turned towards the blackboard, one of the students whistled. He turned, looked at the class and asked the Whistler’s name. No one answered.

The Professor peacefully kept the Pen in his pocket saying: “Lecture ends here. I’ll tell you a story to utilise the remaining time”.

Everyone became interested.

“Yesterday night I tried hard to sleep, but it was miles away from my eyes, so I thought I’d better get petrol in my car, which will save my time next morning and might induce sleep. After having my tank full, I started roaming in that area, enjoying the peace of a traffic free ride.

Suddenly, on the corner I saw a girl who was as young and beautiful as the clothes she was wearing. Must have been returning from a party. Out of courtesy, I turned my car towards her and asked if I may be of any help. She asked me if I could drop her to her home, she’ll be very obliged, to which I agreed.

She sat in the front seat with me. We started talking, and to my amazement she was very intelligent, had control on many topics which many youngsters don’t.

When we reached her address, she admitted my courteous nature and behavior and accepted that she would love to meet again.

I also admitted her intelligence and beauty and that I’ve also started liking her. I told her about my job as a professor in the university.

The girl asked my number, which I gave her willingly. Then she asked me a favor, to which i couldn’t have denied naturally.

She said that her brother is a student in the same university, and asked me to take care of him, since we’ll meeting each other more now.

I asked the name of the student. She said that I’ll recognise him with one of his very prominent quality, *He whistles a lot!*

All eyes in the classroom turned towards the boy who had whistled.

The professor said: “I didn’t buy my Ph. D in Psychology.. I earned it”.

Lessons from Nature…

I think these Seven Pieces of Advice from Rumi, always applies as a gentle reminder…as a way of being.

In generosity and helping others be like the river.
In compassion and grace be like the sun.

In concealing others’ faults be like the night.
In anger and fury be like the dead.

In modesty and humility be like the soil.
In tolerance be like the ocean.

Either you appear as you are or be as you appear.

Heal the world

Heal the world

The stories of the bygone are contained in the stone

For within, it holds the secrets of the past.

The fragile flower owns its freshness to this now

The Blossoming of the bloom is the present truth of time.

How delicate is life and yet so very powerful in potential

One life has the power to transform lives…

But our life carry us on, not backwards

But further into the future.

The good we can do today will impact the life we have in future.

Touch a life positively & make an impact.

Intend with the goodness of your soul.

Treat yourself and others well

For you are creating goodwill in every action

Speak well and share kindness.

Enthuse yourself and create cheer.

Smile through the moments

Live love laugh.

Help heal a life and you have helped heal the world .

The Way We See The World

All of creation has a purpose to its being.

It charts its course towards it.

If we are able to understand  the reason for life is to be…

As it is meant to be
We will be more tolerant and inclusive
We will think before we speak
We will choose to see the good and nurture the good.
What we choose to notice presents itself in many ways
As  the way we choose to see the world
The world mirrors itself to us.

See the world with wonder and awe
Choose to respect and be responsible
Cultivate a sense of respect gratitude.
For the infinite abundance called life!

The will to live…

Ikigai (生き甲斐, pronounced [ikiɡai]) is a Japanese concept that means “a reason for being”. The word refers to having a direction or purpose in life, that which makes one’s life worthwhile, and towards which an individual takes spontaneous and willing actions giving them satisfaction and a sense of meaning to life.

Which of these are your ikigai or will/reason to live and be?

Feel free to choose the first 3 and share .

The reason to be…

1To not perish without a passion
2To not miss all the great deeds
3To sample all the great senses
4.To ride on, no matter the storms
5.To never back down
6.To dare to dream, no matter
7.To be unconventional
8.To love unconditional
9.To see hope beyond all odds
10.To tune inwards and sense wellbeing
11.To choose health in every now
12.To learn as much as you can
13.To understand life in the living
14.To rebel and be free of the mundane
15.To make a name and garner fame
16 To make merry till the light shines
17.To be a reason for others to live
18.To play with life and risk it all
19.To live in this now no matter what
20.To protect my ones from harms way
21.To sense love living life lovingly
22.To explore and see the far off lands
23.To lead others and create prosperity
24.To act upon every possibility
25.To show the way for others to follow

The will to live …

Whatever is your reason or will to be may be, may you find happiness and contentment in your chosen path.
Life often challenges and surprises you
So make each moment matter as you live.

And not for single day
Just exist without living
Such is the will to live.

Dance as you are.

Dance even it’s in your own heart

Dance with all of your being

Dance to flow through in life

Dance to free yourself from unwanted

Dance to let go of the pain you feel

Dance to speak your own truth

Dance away your restless thoughts

Dance to bond with this now

Dance to share from the heart

Dance often dance from where you are!

Dance …As you are! Just Dance!

Reciprocity

Good writings have the power to change your mood, from gloomy to happy, inspire, and motivate.
Without readers, the writings however good, are like the beautiful moon shining over a desert.
Though the writers, may write for self-expression, the appreciation of a reader motivates them to create more.
They both are complimenting each other.
If good writing makes even one reader happy the writing has found its purpose.

Anjana

These are a few words from my mother’s reflections on Writing and Reading which I found deeply inspiring. I take this opportunity to offer my sincere appreciation and gratitude to all my readers for after all there is no writer without a reader.

To keep my heart
Healthy and happy

To breathe easy and practice the let go as much as I can.
To nourish my body & mind with self-care and choose balance in thoughts words and deeds.

To nurture, heal and replenish the self
With positive intentions reflections and contemplation.
To keep a good company of friends.
To steer thoughts and cultivate humility, kindness, and mindfulness.
To choose to pause and speak with awareness in response than reaction

To respect and value life in this body.
To respect another’s right to be.
To sense the spirit of freedom.
To value the freedom of another being.

To create and acknowledge peace and positivity within and around me
To spread goodwill at every opportunity.

Live life lovingly!

It’s wonderful and easy

When life is a breeze

But the test is when

It’s a little stormy…

Life is a gift

Any which way

The trick is to see

The many blessings

That at times goes unnoticed.

Live life lovingly!

Beauty of innocence

Some Very Beautiful Examples of Innocence, which will touch your heart…

1. Author and lecturer, Leo Buscaglia, once talked about a contest he was asked to judge.
The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.
The winner was:

A four-year-old child, whose next door neighbour was an elderly gentleman, who had recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old man’s yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.
When his mother asked him what he had said to the neighbour, the little boy just said: ‘Nothing, I just
helped him cry.’
👍👍

2. Students, of class one in a school, were discussing a student’s family picture. One little boy in the picture had a hair colour, different from the other family members.
One of the other students suggested that he was adopted.

A little girl said: ‘I know all about
adoption, bcoz I was adopted..’

‘What does it mean to be adopted ?’, asked another child.

‘It means’, said the girl, ‘that you grew in your mommy’s heart, instead of her tummy.!’
👍👍

3. Whenever I’m disappointed with my life, I stop and think about little Jamie Scott.
Jamie was trying out for a part in the school play.
His mother told me that he’d set his heart on being in it, though she feared he would not be chosen..

On the day the parts were awarded, I went with her to collect him after school.
Jamie rushed up to her, eyes shining with pride and excitement.. ‘Guess what, Mom,’ he shouted, and then said those words that will remain a lesson to me..: ‘I’ve been chosen to clap and cheer.’
👍👍

4. An eye witness account from New York City , on a cold day in December.
A little boy, about 10-years-old, was standing before a shoe store on the road, barefooted, peering through the window, and shivering
with cold.

A lady approached the young boy and said: ‘My, but you’re in such deep thought staring in that window!’
The boy replied:’I was asking God to give me a pair of shoes.’

The lady took him by the hand, went into the store, and asked the clerk to get half a dozen pairs of socks for the boy.
She then asked if he could give her a basin of water and a towel.
He quickly brought them to her.

She took the little fellow to the back
part of the store and, removing her gloves, knelt down, washed his little feet, and dried them with the towel.

By this time, the clerk had returned with the socks.
Placing a pair upon the boy’s feet, she purchased him a pair of shoes..

She tied up the remaining pairs of socks and gave them to him. She patted him on the head and said, ‘No doubt, you will be more comfortable now..’

As she turned to go, the astonished kid caught her by the hand, and looking up into her face, with tears
in his eyes, asked her:

*’Are you God’s wife………?’*

Beyond the Illusions

What is, may not be
What you see, can be an illusion
The truth may be far from it.
All that you see, is not all.

What is all, is not what you see
Illusions of your mind can play tricks.
Beyond your preconceived beliefs
And judgments of perception.

There is a lot more than what we are
Our vision can play tricks.
So watch what you see, up close
And perhaps, you will see more…
