Strength in Vulnerability

We are nature and nature is us .

We are all made of star dust.

We all have our moments in the sun.

We all have our dark moments.

Its not easy for any one of us.

We need not profess to be…

Something we are not.

We need not behave as if we know it all.

Our life is created in every now.

We can alter the way we see life.

And how we choose to live it.

Our attitude is a game changer.

If we allow ourselves to be…

We would bare the truth of our being.

Yes we may be vulnerable.

But in that very vulnerability,

We will find our inner strength.

For truth is liberating in nature.

The heart feels

The mind thinks

And generates a seed of thought

But the heart is all encompassing

In the core of the heart

Is the garden of life.

The heart is all pervasive

The heart is willingness

It accepts the seeds of thoughts

It colours it with emotion

Sometimes in all its vividity

In the brightest of tints

Or at times in shadowing tones

Between the dark and light of life

The heart nurtures and nourishes

Thoughts seeds to life.

In positively enriching thoughts

It empowers life to evolve .

What truly matters is..

To plant a positive seed in your heart

Allow the mind to help the heart

Discard the unwanted,

Weed out the unnecessary

Trim the excess growth

Support the saplings of goodwill

Balancing between the heart & mind

Every moment of awareness

Can change the course of life!

The wisdom of resilience

The circle of life

Think of life
As ocean waves
Waltzing with the tides

Highs and lows
Are both part of the flow
Think of yourself

Sense the surge
Of empowerment
Flooding through you
In this very thought
You have it all within you
To steer through
The troubled waters
To bridge through the gaps
And find a way.

To rise above
The tumultuous waves
Always know
There is hope
In the horizon across
Light shines
Beyond the darkest night.
Change is the only constant
Like night and day
Nature shows the way.

Tumbling down
Is temporary
Flipping over
Is a fraction of a moment.
Eventually leading
To new beginning
In hope and trust.
For all is in flux
Course through
Sail through the waves
With a heart full of hope.

There is a pool

I received this beautiful photo capture years ago, and I cherish it. Everytime I see it, it speaks to me.

A few musings…

There is a pool
I often sit by
with my thoughts
In fact all of me.

Its a pool that inspires
Creativity in collaboration
Its a pool that invites
Connections in association.

A pool of collectives
That move me beyond
The rut of mediocrity
To an all expansive space.

A pool of equanimity
That keeps me balanced
A pool centered inside
That aligns it all to the core.

A pool is an interesting place, as it is allowing yet contained.The circle of thoughts, in a pool allow space of contemplation.

Without the hurry and haste, to sense the moment as it is.

Every now and then choose to sit with/by your own pool of peace sensing the peace you already have.

Reality Bites

Acknowledgement is a step towards improvement.

Realizing the effects and the cause is relevant to change.

Our world is a gift we have in life

We are interweaved in this tapestry of life and living.

And we are strengthened in the interconnects in between.

Yet we have distanced ourselves

The advancements create gadgets of convenience

But humane care and connection is distanced

We behave as if we are entities self centric without consideration

Humanity in humans is deeply affected

But we are yet to understand

The consequences our actions

On Acceptance

The Road to Acceptance has many challenges in the learnings… not often easy, but certainly transforming in one way or the other.

Like there are many aspects to understanding
In acceptance there are many perspectives
Acceptance is not giving up or being in the same place.
To me a practice of acceptance is an ability to respect the now and in turn acknowledge the transient nature of everything.
To accept then is to be able to have a feel or a vision of the situation as it is experienced in the now.

The Paradox of acceptance is being defenseless to yin and yangs of life and living. Yet to envision that acceptance comes from a place of strength, is to be able to understand that we are not one entity but made of many parts that matter to the whole.
So the stance of acceptance is about flow & movements in the stillness , in hope to evolve in time along with the changes.

Making peace with the now

On letting go ….

Making peace with the now,

Very easy, they say.

Follow the breath,

And peace flows.

Yet…

We all know

That it is quite a task

To be consistent.

That’s how life is!

Such is truth in itself

In this now

As every moment

Gives in to the new.

We are meant to be,

To learn and unlearn.

Our senses,

Our emotions

Challenge us in the changes.

Our system takes a toll;

Our beliefs turn around

In soul searching ways…

And then, we learn to see

The moment as it presents itself.

All judgements and assumptions,

All prejudices and preconceived notions

Fade away into the oblivion.

We live in this moment.

In engagement again

But with this now,

Without forgetting what has gone

But forgiving times bygone.

For only then, we make space,

For peace to flow in…

Razors Edge

On the razors edge, there is poignant elegance

Beautiful poise, precariously in balance

Amidst the fury of the fire raging beneath

She stand resolute in her calmth

Not helpless but in knowing nature’s ways

That in time, all is well back to base.

Beauty on the outside burns off into the ember

Leaving an ashen pile of dust to remember.

Yet deluding the fury in being uprooted

In the strength of the grounding firmly rooted

Leaving an evergreen picture of poise

She has that stoic stance of grace.

A pose of composure on destiny’s face

In spite of a life abruptly denied

She is the beauty of grace personified!
