How important do you think is a culture of trust to an enterprise and its growth?
How would it be possible to create, nurture & sustain trust in teams?
On a scale of 1 to 10 where do you think the team you lead, is in terms of trustfulness? Companies spend a lot of their resources planning for engagements that are geared towards trust building. There are get together, team lunches, resort trips arranged, and social events organized to ensure every one has a good time and build a rapport with each other.
What are the genuine ways of trust building in teams? What makes a team trust a leader?
Trust is a significant and valuable trait to build into any functional team. And it is the responsibility of the leader to create an atmosphere for trust to follow through in teams. Besides skills and abilities to lead and show direction to the team when in need, a leader’s trust quotient increases when they are ready to be vulnerable enough to let the team understand that after all, we are together through the thick and thin.
Secondly, it is important for a leader to be able to cultivate clarity in communication. And shares the bigger picture with the team, so they understand the intent for a plan.
More than anything else, it makes way for an authentic and open culture of trustful action and responses.
And speaking of responses, an effective and efficient leader will seek feedbacks to create a proper follow-ups and follow through of any intention.
Whenever a leader internalizes these values as habits of being authentic and vulnerable with their team, trust is born.
In every effort taken towards creating clarity & consistency in the channels of communication with their team, trust is built. And while finding resolutions through followups with timely responses, trust is sustained in the teams. Great organization begins with teams that place value on trustfulness as an important part of the growth mindset.
Every continent has become an island in itself, Every country has become a fort in itself, Every state has become a prison in itself, Every city has become a jail in itself, Every family live in confinement , Every member is confined to their solitary cell.
Afraid to travel, afraid to meet, Afraid to hug ,all in their own cell.
Nature endowed us with power to protect. Our selfish greed ,ego and pride put us in this unfathomable pit. What we have done to ourselves. In the name of research n development We have ended up in our own hell.
Never cross boundaries with Nature None can stand its powerful nature. The lessons learnt are never to forget. All long for the bygone past wandering freely in spaces vast, Celebrating occasions mingling with relations.
Humble down to Cosmic rules Simple joys will surface in our pools .
If you are in a position of leadership and influence, consider it your responsibility to keep your team motivated consistently.
Every career experience is deeply significant in understanding and expanding your vision. As a Consultant & Mentor, my years as a Ballroom Dance Educator & Trainer have been truly insightful in understanding teamwork and collaboration and the values of direction and motivation from a leadership perspective in team performance.

Pareidolia(/ˌpæriˈdoʊliə/,[1]USalso/ˌpæraɪˈ-/[2]) is the tendency for perception to impose a meaningful interpretation on a nebulous visual stimulus (so that one sees an object, pattern or meaning where in fact there is none).
Ref Wiki Seeing familiar objects or patterns in otherwise random or unrelated objects or patterns is called pareidolia. It’s a form of apophenia, which is a more general term for the human tendency to seek patterns in random information. Face pareidolia seems to be a universal phenomenon.
Finding faces in the most unexpected places, may have an evolutionary angle of a need to seek familiarity in the wake of the unknown, for a psychological safety. Or finding faces in the bonnet of a car that makes it look more fun, friendly & smiling.
Maybe piecing the possibilities together to make sense is an illustration in the illusion… Whatever the case creativity of the human mind is infinite in its potential to conjure up endless possibilities out of practically nothing concrete.
In the ability to create abstract associations to integrate and create and merge a more meaningful interpretation for ourselves, makes it an art of limitless possibilities.
Two ways of thinking…. Familiarity breeds contempt While the absence makes the heart fonder.
One…
All seems wonderful in the beginning As time goes by time takes its toll. Straining the togetherness Cracking apart at its seams Creating distances and gaps that grow Making the memories sustain in hope Or seek a closure in forgetfulness.
Two…
In isolation and silence Seeds of thoughts find time to germinate In both exclusion or seclusion The heart longs for companionship The thoughts turn to fond remembrances Of bygone memories of the good times Life tries to recall & recreate those times. To salvage what is left and cherish Knowing the priceless treasures it brings. Hence the absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Life moves on and finds new beginnings Yet in adaptability & flexibility Nature continues its pathway All comes a full circle. Such is the circle of life.
A short post and photograph caught my eye and I was drawn to pen a few words. https://wp.me/p7CppQ-Cc Thank you Mark Bierman for the wonderful inspiration.
A person never is bored when he or she is creating something, expressing oneself. Through art forms, painting, singing, writing, and whatever that connects deeply to oneself.
And thats the beautiful part, where one art inspires another as much as the self to explore more.
