Traveling along…

Sharing a story that came my way on Social Media.

I am Travelling with you !

Every year Parents took their son to his Grandmother’s House for the Summer Break, and they would return Home in train after Two Weeks.

One Day the Boy tells
his Parents:
′′ I’m Grown Up now,
What if I go to Grandma’s House alone this Year ???”

After a Brief Discussion
Parents agree.

They were standing on the Railway Station, seeing him off,
Giving him Last Instruction through the Window,

As Boy continues to repeat:
′′ I know, you’ve already told me so many times…!”
Train is about to leave and Father whispers:
′ My Son,
If you suddenly feel Bad or Scared, this is for you !…… ′
And he slips something into his Pocket.

Now the Boy was all alone, sitting on the Train, without his Parents,
for the First Time…

He looks at the Scenery through the Window.
Around him Strangers Hustle, make Noise, Enter and Exit
the Compartment,
He gets that Feeling that he was alone..
A person even gives him a
Scary look…
The Boy felt uncomfortable…
And now he was frightened also.
He lowered his head, snuggled in a corner of the Seat,
tears rose to his Eyes.

At that Point he remembered his Father putting something in his pocket.
With a trembling hand he groped this piece of paper, and he opened it,
Son, “Don’t Worry,”
I am in the Next Compartment…

*Truth* :

This is How it is in Life…
When God has sent us in this World, all by ourselves,
HE has also slipped a note in our pocket,

*God Says:*
I am Travelling with you,
I am within your reach !
Call on Me…❗

Waking Up To A New Day!

We are the thoughts we think,

We become believers of our ways

What we do today has always a reason.

But every dawn is full of hope

Awaken to sense its brightness

Care and accept the vividity

Allow space for light to enter.

Much changes in doing the above..

Wake up grateful for this new day!

Wake up hopeful of this new day!

Learnings in Life.

I loved these lines …

On learning in life.

Life is blessed

In valuing the gifts we have,

In cultivation of skills we are enriched

And life is transformed in the choices we make.

Life is full of infinite learnings

Endless opportunities and possibilities …

Life is how we make it!

Sharing the.. ‘Vacho Vegam’

Ancient Indian words of wisdom

anger.

will damage someone
else’s reputation.
13. Be silent – if your words
will damage a friendship.
14. Be silent – when you are
feeling critical.

have to eat your words
later.
18. Be silent – if you have
already said it more
than one time.
19. Be silent – when you are
tempted to flatter a
wicked person.

supposed to be working
instead.

words do not do any
good to anyone

WHOEVER GUARDS HIS TONGUE KEEPS HIS SOUL AWAY FROM TROUBLES.

Silence is full of wisdom

When we listen in silence

We hear and understand more

Silence speaks more than words can say.
Listen to the intuitive
The meditative, contemplative
The reflective & the restorative voices
There is a connective wisdom
In the sounds of silence
Emanating from you.
It is your precious inner self
Expressing itself.
Be mindful and attentive
Listen if you can,
Every once in a while.”
Embody the peace within.

Heart of Art

Consciously or otherwise,

whether it is…
In Steering the words that flow, toward a larger purpose.
In Channelling the ideas that spring forth
In Creating artworks with a splattering of colours

Art draws expressions from wonder
Art thrives in the heart of the being.
Art flows through in movement & solitude…

When the he(art) speaks, the artist listens
For Art is life and living an art.

Patterns Of Perception

A dear friend shared an overflowing cup of inspiration my way and asked me to share a few thoughts.

Here are my reflections in a flow…

Patterns of perception.
Making sense of sensibility
Emoting in the experiences
Of life and living.

The cup of the heart pours…
Flowing through it reaches
The centers of cognition
And the mind begins thinking.

The cup of mind assimilates.
Gathering insights and ideas
Creating patterns of perception
Everything that is, is not all.

In all that it appears to be
There is always more
For infinite are the possibilities
In every moment of perception.

A day of silence

~ Silence ~

A day of Silence
Can be a pilgrimage in itself.
A day of Silence
Can help you listen
To the Soul play
In marvelous lute and drum.
Is not most talking
A crazed defense of a crumbling fort?
I thought we came here
To surrender in Silence,
To yield to Light and Happiness,
To Dance within
In celebration of Love’s Victory!

~ Hafiz ~

Be silent and sense the stillness

A million moves may be more

Are manifesting in this now

Hear the music unfold its rhthym

Be still and sense the moves

For stillness is full of movements

In the depth of Silence

We witness the dance within.

Truth is Power

The power is in the truth

Where truth is nothing dares

Such is the nature of truth

That whatever ways it is submerged

It always gets unearthed

And yet interestingly its often said…

The opposite of the great truth

Is also truth!

Such is the circle of life.

Game of Life…

Nicely penned by someone……

I watched a local football match in a school playing ground.

As I sat down, I asked one of the boys what the score was.

With a smile, he replied; they are leading us 3-0.

And I said, REALLY.

I have to say you don’t look discouraged.

“Discouraged” the boy asked with a puzzled look.

Why should I be discouraged when the referee has not blown the final whistle.

I have confidence in the team and the managers; we shall definitely overcome.

Truly, the match ended 5-4 in favor of the boy’s team.

He waved at me gently, with a beautiful smile as he left; I was amazed, mouth wide open; Such confidence; Such beautiful faith.

As I got back home that night, his question kept coming back to me –
…..
Why should I be discouraged when the referee has not blown the final whistle.

Life is like a game….

Why be discouraged, when there is still life.

Why be discouraged when your final whistle has not sounded.

The truth is that many people blow the final whistle themselves….

But as long as there is life, nothing is impossible and it is never too late for you.

Half time is not full time…..

Don’t blow the whistle yourself…..😊

Are you your own friend?

A true friend is there to support you if you fall.

Allow space for you to grow

Cheer you along the way

Take interest in your journey

Mean well for you

Stop you from self harm

Believe in you without a doubt

Yet dare to tell the truth to you.

Be with you so you are never alone.

Now think about it…

Are you your own best friend ?

Train of thoughts

We are filled with countless thoughts

Every waking moment of life

Even more so when we are alone

What we do with those thoughts

Is what matters.

How dense are those thoughts

How much vividity & how much lightness….

This is what decides

The course of life itself.

Its all interconnected

Where the train of thoughts lead us.

Choose to think well.

Reality Bites

Acknowledgement is a step towards improvement.

Realizing the effects and the cause is relevant to change.

Our world is a gift we have in life

We are interweaved in this tapestry of life and living.

And we are strengthened in the interconnects in between.

Yet we have distanced ourselves

The advancements create gadgets of convenience

But humane care and connection is distanced

We behave as if we are entities self centric without consideration

Humanity in humans is deeply affected

But we are yet to understand

The consequences our actions

Truth is reality bites.

Yet hope is here to stay.
