Live Life Lovingly!

Play of opposites

In the play of opposites
Life continues to churn out
The magic that is within us all
As we bring out the best of ourselves
We inspire another for some more
One thing leads to another they say
Such is the circle of life and living.

Learning to live

Are you feeling you are trying to live

Between the raindrops?

Or maybe you feel

You are surviving between the rapids

For life is not always a bed of blooms.

Is there a trick to the whole process?

To thrive from between to the beyond

To live through the unfolding journey.

Waltzing through without warping up

Smiling throught it all

Singing the song of hope than remorse

Question yourself

Is it just a matter of priorities

What truly matters after all?

What makes for a life

That’s worth its while?

All one needs to do is experience the journey

Because the destination takes care of itself!

Life

One who knows the worth of life

Cannot afford to waste

Even a single moment of life

Care to take a step

Towards a more meaningful life.

Every now is awaiting your awareness

To envision the potential within

Every new day is a gift of possibilities

Care to make today count!

Favourite music

On song writing:

“We human beings are tuned such that we crave great melody and great lyrics. And if somebody writes a great song, it’s timeless that we as humans are going to feel something for that and there’s going to be a real appreciation.” -Art Garunkel

What is great music to you?

Is it the song how it sounds to you ?

Do you pay attention to the lyrics?

Sometimes great lyrics alone don’t make a great song,

And often great song has hardly any depth to its lyrics

So what are your favorite or evergreensongs the ones you listen to always?

What is it that makes it, to your favorite list?

Fractality of creativity

If we were to only reach deeper
Than we know see or believe
Is the truth and begin to accept
And acknowledge the yet unknown
The unfamiliar & the unexplored

Structured to the unstructured
The understandable to the inexplicable
Sensations in our emotions.
All vying for our attention
Or even the patterns manifesting itself…

In space continuum
We are opening ourselves
To the spectre of multi dimensions
Possibilities are infinite
Fractality of creativity.

Breathing free

A beautiful share

“She sat at the back and they said she was shy,
She led from the front and they hated her pride,
They asked her advice and then questioned her guidance,
They branded her loud, then were shocked by her silence,
When she shared no ambition they said it was sad,
So she told them her dreams and they said she was mad,
They told her they’d listen, then covered their ears,
And gave her a hug while they laughed at her fears,
And she listened to all of it thinking she should,
Be the girl they told her to be best as she could,
But one day she asked what was best for herself,
Instead of trying to please everyone else,
So she walked to the forest and stood with the trees,
She heard the wind whisper and dance with the leaves,
She spoke to the willow, the elm and the pine,
And she told them what she’d been told time after time,
She told them she felt she was never enough,
She was either too little or far far too much,
Too loud or too quiet, too fierce or too weak,
Too wise or too foolish, too bold or too meek,
Then she found a small clearing surrounded by firs,
And she stopped…and she heard what the trees said to her,
And she sat there for hours not wanting to leave,
For the forest said nothing, it just let her breathe”

On Gentleness of Being

Life is precious
And so are relationships
Remember, gentle is the way
When you walk with another
There is much you do not know
You never know the hidden truths
For some wounds are deep and invisible.
So walk gently, care sincerely live lovingly

Align in the Flow

Speaking of opposites at play
Between the expansion and contractions.. Between the conflicts and clarity

The dance of the heart and mind goes on
Only to meet somewhere midway in peace
And adjusts itself in the circle of life.

After all there is a place and space
For every manifestation
Somehow everything aligns in the flow

A Face

A little bit of freetime and a mobile phone art app in your hand can make the moments come alive…

I started to paint the screen with all my favorite colors… but then somehow somewhere in between I sensed a face pop and I continued to sketch away at leisure and found a face staring righton .

Now the face was somewhat serious and I just could not gel with that, as the moment was anything but that, so I just had to play with my fingers on the screen just a bit and lo and behold that face was more appealing to me now.

It’s a work in progress…Yes I could have gone on refining this piece, there is a lot of room for it, but somewhere I just stopped adding more to it ,perhaps I might pick it up in posterity and paint some more.

P.s Must mention I used no stylus, just my fingers for this one. I thoroughly enjoyed creating this piece of art.

How did you like my mobile art ?

Which face resonates with you today?

Heartprints of Serendipity

How intuitive are you?

Do u sense the subtlety

In nature and its mystical ways

Of sending signs and symbols your way?

For you to understand perspectives

Beyond assumptions & notions

To create an insightful vision

Of the unfolding realms

Of the possibilities in the potential.

There is always a reason

Why you are gifted with intuitive intellect.

Consider ways to use it for goodwill

Think larger, widen your perspectives

For the world at large

Can you use this subtlety of knowing

And leave heartprints of Serendipity?

Path of Equanimity

Peace begins in our hearts

In our actions in awareness

Peace spreads its wings

Unfolding its magic

Interspersing the seeds of peace

In the hearts of humans

When we embrace ourselves

With all our conflicts and chaos

With our inexplicable challenges

We embrace the peace

Already deeply embedded within

In between and betwixt

The rest and movement

Peace regenerates itself

In the middle path

Peace finds its balance.

In the path of Equanimity

Art of Self Removal

Throwback to last week when I recorded a demo and forgot about it

Shown here is one of the riskiest parts of the process — removing myself from the fragile balance without disturbing it.

In order to balance something like this, I usually need to basically wrap my body around it while sitting and building.. using knees to hug / stabilize the lower section(s) like a scaffold. But once I find zero, I need to remove my body without causing the structure to collapse.. on my body.. it’s when I’m most vulnerable.

But as seen here, I keep my gaze firmly on the structure while maneuvering my body away. It’s like a weird hyper focus where I’m spatially entranced on the relative positions of the rocks, and if any data point deviates from the whole, I have maybe a second to react before it becomes dangerous, especially for my left hand here which is planted on the stump I was sitting on, hoisting my body away.. if that top decides to fall on that hand, bones would likely break… not a situation where I can afford to break focus.

Some self removals are easier than others — it really just depends on a firm hold for my right hand behind me, the sensitivity of the structure itself, and what the wind is doing..

This post made me think further on

The Art of Self Removal

In any creation

The creator is inextricably

Interweaved in the tapestry of creation

And yet the Creator detaches the self

To step away from the creation

Distinguishing the completion

Of one phase of the creation

For it to begin it’s own journey of being

Real joy!

This is a must read true incident share…

“I want to remember your face so that when I meet you in heaven, I will be able to recognise you and thank you once again.”

When Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola in a telephone interview, was asked by the radio presenter, “Sir what can you remember made you a happiest man in life?”

Femi said:
“I have gone through four stages of happiness in life and finally I understood the meaning of true happiness.”

The first stage was to accumulate wealth and means. But at this stage I did not get the happiness I wanted.

Then came the second stage of collecting valuables and items. But I realised that the effect of this thing is also temporary and the lustre of valuable things does not last long.

Then came the third stage of getting big projects. That was when I was holding 95% of diesel supply in Nigeria and Africa. I was also the largest vessel owner in Africa and Asia. But even here I did not get the happiness I had imagined.

The fourth stage was the time a friend of mine asked me to buy wheelchair for some disabled children. Just about 200 kids.

At the friend’s request, I immediately bought the wheelchairs.

But the friend insisted that I go with him and hand over the wheelchairs to the children. I got ready and went with him.

There I gave these wheel chairs to these children with my own hands. I saw the strange glow of happiness on the faces of these children. I saw them all sitting on the wheelchairs, moving around and having fun.

It was as if they had arrived at a picnic spot where they are sharing a jackpot winning.

I felt REAL joy inside me. When I decided to leave one of the kids grabbed my legs. I tried to free my legs gently but the child stared at my face and held my legs tightly.

I bent down and asked the child: Do you need something else?

The answer this child gave me not only made me happy but also changed my attitude to life completely. This child said:
“I want to remember your face so that when I meet you in heaven, I will be able to recognise you and thank you once again.”

What would you be remembered for after you leave that office or place?

Will anyone desire to see your face again where it all matters?

How about trying to touch lives and make a positive difference in our own individual ways?.
