Dances of the world : Argentine Tango

Dancing is the ultimate art of expression of the spirit of life. Every part of the world has a unique set of dances that set it apart yet find some similarities somewhere. And that’s what is the strength of the creative art of movements, in the interconnects of community, culture , history, traditions as well as a reflection of the expression of changing times in the Dance Connection, and that is what beautiful about ‘Dance’ itself.

Born in the dark alleys of Argentina

The stark truth emerges of murky beginnings in the 18th century

Frequented mostly by slaves, immigrants in the ports of Buneos Aires and even Uruguay.

There were even bans on many of these tango musical gatherings.

The dance form began with countless influences of European and native culture.

With hope and faith
Life turns around
Yes everyone is challenged

In one way or another
But the wisdom in the challenge
Is to use these challenges
As stepping stones
To your success.

Life is changing
Every minute
Life is never the same
Its ok to wait and lie a little low

You need to trust nature
To move and shift things
What was lost is gained again
What was your deepest pain
Becomes a point of pleasure

Change is the only constant

Move beyond these limitations
Of this now
There is so much more to envision
So much more to accomplish.

I am always fascinated by nature, especially trees … every tree speaks to us and conveys much beyond its beauty there is much to understand from its shape texture and form.

I find its lessons, often very poignant yet alluring and very inspiring as well.

Nurture Your Passion

Will share something today,that I have been practicing every day for many years now… it has made me a happier person.

Care to spend at least an hour or two a week to pursue your interest or passions.

The emptiness left by not pursuing it distracts more time out of you than pursuing it for a couple of hours a week.

And in time not only do others see you feel more at ease when you are with them; there will also be something wonderful to look forward for yourself!
