Life lessons

Second standard teacher started writing tables on the blackboard.
The whole class started laughing as she started writing because the first line was written wrong.
1×9=7, ❌
2×9=18, ✔
3×9=27, ✔
4×9=36, ✔
5×9=45, ✔
6×9=54 ✔
7×9=63 ✔
8×9=72 ✔
9×9=81 ✔
10×9=90 ✔
The teacher was waiting patiently till their laughter stopped.
I know, I have written the first line wrong. I wanted to teach an important life lesson on how this world will treat you.
I have written 9 lines correct here. None of you noticed that. But you all noticed the one line which was wrong and started laughing at me.
This is how the world will treat you. Even if you do things correctly for a thousand times, none will notice or praise you.
But when you go wrong even for one time they will notice and start criticising to ridicule you.
But you all should never get discouraged. Instead put your full effort to stand tall and firm in front of those who laughed at you, criticised you, or ridiculed you.

Artistry



To a true artist
The medium is immaterial
Everything  is association
The elements converge
Every thing connects
Subtlety emerges distinctly
Dancing to the winds of change

Inner motivation leads the way
To find meaningful expressions
In the myriad manifestations
Even in the seemingly banal existence
Creativity sparks from everywhere.
Such is state of fractal flow
Of Art & Artistry.

But then is there a true or fake artist?
For beauty is in the eyes of the beholder
And possibilities of creativity infinite
Art is a moment of reckoning
Of acknowledgement and appreciation
Evoking critical responses & feedbacks
In support or diversity of emotions
Forming  new patterns in the experiences
Invoking the spirit of creation

Reflections in Rootedness

As the year comes to a close only to begin anew… a special thanks to all the people who send inspirations our way by their profound shares.

Recently my friend Christoph retweeted this post on Twitter commenting…

‘As above so below’

And it drew me to contemplate on the profound truths of reflections in rootedness of life and its myriad expressions.

Of the uncanny resemblance of the roots, branches in a tree to the nerves and vertebrae of mamals including man.

Of how our energy is a flow of potential endless patterns in possibilities.

Of reflections of resounding resonance in nature

Of infinite abundance in its manifestations

Of parallel dimensions & more beyond compare

In the spaces between the synapses

There is a plethora of profound truths

Awaiting our awareness

So much to explore and discover!

As above so is below

As outward so is within

Vast beyond belief

In faith and hope

Everything is envisioned..

In acceptance & acknowledgement
Of the grace in goodness

If we are ready  to explore

Without a doubt

Translated from tamil forward by my mother Anjana

A young couple went to live in a new place.
Next day morning sipping tea they were looking out of the window. Their neighbour was drying clothes on the clothline. She doesn’t know to wash clothes properly. Look at the dirt on thair clothes. The wife said. Without replying the husband was looking.
This became a daily routine. Their time coincided n everyday the wife will comment about the dirt in their clothes while the husband was listening silently.
Suddenly one day the wife said atlast today the clothes are clean. She has learnt to wash well.
Quietly the husband replied ,. ‘ I cleaned our window glasses today morning. ‘

This is what happening in today’s lifestyle. Our uncleaned glasses make other’s things look dirty. But we never suspect our glasses.

Whether or not, there is some flaw with another we are ready to comment instead of finding the reason behind it.
