 A Matter of Fine Tuning.

Your cells are intuitive and have memory bank of information that is stored both inately and experientially .

How they synthesize and process that information may depend on many factors, especially on how healthy they are and what kind of nutrition they continue to have.

However they are continously in communication with you. Your sense of intuition is a part of their communicative process. So is your gut feeling and even a deja vu.

There is always much listening in to do if you wish to decode these flashes of thoughts and feelings. In fact they are your inbuilt guide and gifts of life. Acknowledge them for what they are.

That familiar feeling of knowing someone or something before even meeting them.

The rush of emotions amidst certain memories may be your intuitive sense of your cellular being getting a higher intensity of messages.

Here it is important to differentiate between fear and intuition… most often fear as a reaction is driven by attachment and led by insecurity, whereas intuition is a calm knowing from an inner voice of guidance and an almost unattached feeling although at times they may overlap in certain situations .

The tense feeling before a certain situation or place person or thing. Can be, you are getting a message across from your survival mechanism .

Your clenched fist or the butterflies in your stomach, the knotted feeling deep within at times, or even a voice screaming from within of lurking danger ahead are all perhaps are a forewarning to be more present in this now that you actually are.

Your intuition sense comes from both the heart and the gut brain. While the gut feeling comes forth to protect you, the heart is expansive in nature for it is known to radiate an aura around you. So no matter how the intuitions come from you can learn to make it work for you as you begin to develop your understanding of it.

The trick is in discernment of what comes from the place of fear and why or from the space of love and why.

A few tips on developing and harnessing your intuition.

1.Acknowledge your sense abilities for they are more powerful than we understand them to be

2.Try an pay attention to the first feeling you get in situations. There may be more to the vibes you get.

3.Work and develop your creative skills it helps to strengthen your intuitive sense of awareness starting with your own breathing patterns.

4 Try to work on being grateful of the gift of life and trust it to be your guide along the way. .

5. Most importantly avoid over thinking simply, be alert and yet receptive as it is always a work in progress.

How much do you value your intuition?

How much do you allow it to manifest itself?

Do you care to nurture it ?

Do you care to listen when your intuitive sense talks to you ?

Or do you choose to ignore it and move on .

Do you recall any instance of how you listened to your intuitive self.

Do share your thoughts…

On Expectations

Our expectations are our internal picture of what we anticipate will happen in future. When our expectations are met we are happy but when not, they set us up for disappointments.

Setting the expectations and giving clarity can be effective in a professional environment. Yet when we do not communicate it or when we set unrealistic expectations it can lead to anxiety frustration & loss of trust.

A few traits to develop that help in handling our expectations better.

Communication : Acing our internal and external communication establishes an understanding of the expectations.

Adaptability : An art of change management. In being adaptable to a new and different reality we learn to manage our expectations.

Kindness & compassion : Both help us hone our attitudes. The way we feel and emote during a challenging moment helps us manage and alter the situation.

Patience : A virtue that helps us to not be too exacting on ourselves and others.

Equanimity : Being non judgmental helps in being less edgy and more balanced in our expectations.

After all…

Less you expect
Less  you worry
Less you stress
More is the faith
More the love
More life

In this now

In this now

Lies the potential

In the possibilities

In this now

Is the wisdom garnered

In living life

Until this now

In this now

Is the soulfulness

In the being

Without this now

Nothing is .

All is in this now.

On trustfulness

Fom an affirmation perspective…

Personally speaking, I have always been trustful about life. Perhaps because of my  uncomplicated nature and easy going attitude, I see the world in simple ways.

I prefer to think positively about that which  is yet to manifest and am hopeful about tommorow…

Yes life can be challenging and test your spirit, but perhaps in this very passion for life, yet knowing the value of moderation as well as in practicing patience & perseverance, I can attribute most of my lifes successful endeavors.

I do believe in life and trust there is always  a reason yet to know in hope.

I trust the magic in every now!

On Awareness

When the shift is known by the mind
And felt in the heart
Then every thing moves
In conscious awareness.

A Prayer

I bet everyone will love to read this…..
Every day early morning a little girl would come to the temple and stand before the idol, close her eyes and with folded hands, murmur something for a couple of minutes, then open her eyes, bow down, smile and go out running. This was a daily affair.
The temple Poojari was observing her and was curious about what she was doing.
He realised that she was too small to know the deeper meaning of religion & that she would hardly know any prayers. But then what was she doing every morning in the temple?
A few days passed and Poojari now couldn’t resist but to find out more about her behaviour.
One morning, the Poojari reached there before the girl and was waiting for her to complete her ritual.
He placed his hand on her head and said, “My child, I have been seeing you since the last few days. You come here regularly. What do you do?”
“I pray,” She said spontaneously.
“Do you know any prayers?”asked the Poojari with some suspicion in his voice.
“…No” Replied the girl.
“Then what are you doing closing your eyes every day?” he smiled.
Very innocently the girl said :“I do not know any prayer, but I know “a,b,c,d….up to z.”I ‘recite it five times’ and tell God that,”I don’t know your prayer, but it cannot be outside of these alphabets.” Please arrange the alphabets as you wish and that is my prayer.”
And she ran, jumping on her way out.
The Poojari stood there dumbstruck, staring at her for a long time as she disappeared running in the wilderness.
This is THE UNCONDITIONAL belief in God that we pray.

Favourite music

On song writing:

“We human beings are tuned such that we crave great melody and great lyrics. And if somebody writes a great song, it’s timeless that we as humans are going to feel something for that and there’s going to be a real appreciation.” -Art Garunkel

What is great music to you?

Is it the song how it sounds to you ?

Do you pay attention to the lyrics?

Sometimes great lyrics alone don’t make a great song,

And often great song has hardly any depth to its lyrics

So what are your favorite or evergreensongs the ones you listen to always?

What is it that makes it, to your favorite list?

Profound Life lessons

Disciple:

What is poison?

Guru:

When we have something more than our needs it becomes poison. It can be power, wealth, love, hatred or even hunger.

Fear?

When we do not accept impermanence it becomes fear. When we accept impermanence it becomes adventure.

Jealousy?

When we are not ready to accept the goodness of others it becomes jealousy. When we start accepting it becomes a motivational force.

Anger?

When we cannot bear things happening beyond our control it becomes anger. When we start accepting it becomes tolerance.

Hatred?

Not accepting others as they are, turns into hatred. Unconditional acceptance becomes love.

A profound post share in Tamil translated by my dear mother Anjana.

On Gentleness of Being

Life is precious
And so are relationships
Remember, gentle is the way
When you walk with another
There is much you do not know
You never know the hidden truths
For some wounds are deep and invisible.
So walk gently, care sincerely live lovingly

Let go of worries

As you move forward

In expansiveness & inclusiveness

In the spirit of collaboration

Grace of Gratitude

In deepest turmoil
Choose  the power of Gratitude
For in its positive  intentions
And glory of goodwill
Life turns harmonious
Every things aligns perfectly
And music resounds its magical melodies
All is well once again

Gratitude is gratefulness
In acceptance & acknowledgement
Of the grace in goodness
Bestowed  upon us
No storm is too strong  in its wake
Glory to the Gladiator of Hearts
The chaperone of connectedness
That seeks to invoke the strength
In these interconnects in life & living
For no man is too strong
As much as all of us together
I bow to the grace of Gratitude!
