You are an energy field and possess unique energy. What is learning to dance going to do to you?
Dancing regularly opens blockages that were and channelizes your energy and brings your rational emotional and physical self to alignment gradually. Nothing is ever achieved in a hurry similarly the effects and impact movements can have to our mental makeup is a gradual process. Change albeit a certainty, it remains to be experienced, how focused learning and shifts of perspectives through training happen, and where and what the positive changes evolve into.
Often learning to dance is looked at very superficially as a means to entertainment. It depends on the individual desire for fulfilment, as much as the wants and needs to steer and shift the energy to focus.
An artistic expression of movements has the power to engage audiences as much as empower them with feelings from excitement to ecstasy bringing the emotions to surface and evolve the spirit.
There is then a greater responsibility in imparting holistic education in art. There is the need to clarify the content and channelize art with care as it has the capacity to mould the impressionable, pliable adaptable, receptive, flexible mind and body of an interested and eager learner.
The path of traversing through the heart of movements unfolds lessons to reach the connectedness between the spirit and soul. A journey in patience, with passionate perseverance.
The motto …”Behave with others as you would want them behave with you ”is a great way to live life developing a reflective and compassionate attitude and is essential to evolving in the being. The very purpose of life’s experiences is to transform for the better, however our perspectives are often the manifest of our experiences…
A strong focus towards career and finances is no doubt important as well as necessary for life but extending beyond the self is about caring to see beyond the illusions of limited existence.
Every birth is a manifestation of hope love and care for life itself. To live denying it with overtly materialistic motives amounts to nothing at all … as in the end none can ever carry their hoardings and ferry it across. Materialistic life must give way to a more meaningful existence… that’s the way of life as it goes.
The most successful people on earth care about their journey than just the incentives…they enjoy their learning and sharing despite their obstacles because they look out to adding meaning to their lives.
As we respect life and value it enough to care for it , gradually there is the realization that we are never alone .. and that being self centered never works.
Remember…
Life is meant to be lived with love and care not just to exist.
The Voynich manuscript is a famous medieval text of about 240 pages written in a mysterious language that so far has proven to be undecipherable. Some of the pages are missing, with around 240 remaining. The text is written from left to right, and most of the pages have illustrations or diagrams. Some pages are foldable sheets. Although there are many attempts to decode the script it has been stumping cryptologists so far. Some claims through algorithmic decoding have analyzed the language has similarities to Hebrew and even Mazatec. But there are no conclusive pieces of evidence. The content has reference to many subjects including herbal medicine, botany, astronomical, biological, cosmological and pharmaceutical sections including a section with recipes. The manuscript has been kept at the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Yale University since 1969. It’s named after Wilfrid Michael Voynich, the Polish book dealer who purchased it from a Jesuit library in Italy in 1912. The vellum on which it is written has been carbon-dated to the early 15th century, and it may have been composed in Italy during the Italian Renaissance. Like its contents, the history of ownership of the Voynich manuscript is contested and filled with some gaps. The codex belonged to Emperor Rudolph II of Germany (Holy Roman Emperor, 1576-1612), who purchased it for 600 gold ducats and believed that it was the work of Roger Bacon. (Source Wikipedia)
Likewise to this manuscript… There are many mystical truths That exists around us undecoded Some lost in translations, undeciphered Some beyond our understandings still. The truth is right here For us to figure out in time.
Grateful to intuit. For the answers tumble through you The path breaks through in the trusting Until the way becomes you.
A sense of intuition is a gift We all have it within us Sometimes it propels you to it gently. At other times it compels you to conform.
A substantial force in subtlety of being. It is our spirit guide that moves with us Follows through in ways we cannot fathom In a knowing (in the gut) of wisdom across lifelines beyond lifetimes.
What matters most is our tuning inward To our well of wisdom in the listening. Thankful for the master guide within. In deep gratitude for this gift in the journey of life.
This year I celebrate my five years of being and serving as a Member of International Dance Council UNESCO
Sharing a note I wrote 5 years ago…
Honoured to be nominated as an official Member of the International Council of Dance UNESCO. It’s the official umbrella organization for all forms of dance in all countries of the world. Its members are the most prominent federations, associations, schools, companies and individuals in over170 countries.
Have to certainly add that back in the 1960’s it was a visiting delegation from UN that had come to India who had got my dear father interested in learning these International Dances and later on teaching these dances as a hobby and now after all these years as his daughter, to have been certified by CID UNESCO I am touched indeed to say the least.
Thank you Dad for sharing with me this Magic of Dance. I am truly grateful that our simple dream of sharing the joy of Dancing by not only training people to dance but also specialising in applications of dance in holistic wellbeing through Dance Concepts, has been nominated to join UNESCO CID.
It surely connects the dots into a beautiful circle.
The prospect of working under the guidance of this phenomenal institution gives one unbelievable new strengths.
Learning to dance is indeed a ‘labour of love’ and I cherish every moment. How privileged we are to share this indescribable ‘magic of dance.’
Hoping to take the art of Dance to empower more and more people to sense and love the beauty of every movement in the moments called Life.
