Live Life Lovingly!

Want of more…

The need for more, the lack of contentment, the hoarding mentality the greed of the times we live in, the desire to possess for the sake of simply owning better than the best, than for any use, the brand consciousness for all that overmarketed hype in the name of fashion, the feeling of never having enough …all amounts to a lack of real value for anything we truly have … the sad truth of times indeed that calls for awakening before it is too late.

When our individual insatiable expressions of life in the living take flights of fancy without any heed, we need a reconsideration of the ramifications.

Until the value of the bigger picture is seen through the heart rather than immediate gains which can be self anihilating it is an uphill task at hand.

And that is when a need for responsive change through transformations are the call of the moment across the world. Then it is the play of balance, of proportions and disproportions that the self creates, adjusts and develops as per the needs of the times hopefully.

Till then we can try our best to take one step ahead in time with responsibility and accountability.

Cherish

Came across this very meaningful message today …

We may pass the violets

Looking for roses

We may pass contentment

Looking for victory.

Truly our gift of life is so special.

And it is our misfortune if we fail to realise the bounties on our path.

Sometimes we are blinded by our arrogance

At times by sheer ignorance

Or at other times in indifference

To what is actually with us.

We perhaps pass happiness many times by

With our own neverending desires

To need more than we have

That we fail to cherish all that we truly are blessed with already.

For we are only human

And given to human failings

But our every bit of effort

To bring about a sense of awareness

And witness the graces in the now

However small it may seem

Is a step towards our own evolution.

Alone and yet not alone!

I am not alone

I am not alone
When I am walking at dawn
For I have the company
Of a waking sun.

I am not alone
When I am walking at dusk
For I witness the dance of heavenly lights.

For Twilights hold a special meaning
In the witnessing
Of transitions in transcendence.
Of day to night
And night to day…

In this world
Remember
You are not alone
In the dark of the night
With twinkling stars to show you the way.

You are only alone
When even in midst of the many
Your heart seeks a little
Respite from company!

A safe space to witness
Your emerging thoughts
A zone to turn into
A tranquil place to been in

To sense a balance
With your thoughtful self
Amidst the scurry hurry
Of life and living.

Often ‘ alone’ is equated with loneliness. Alone may also mean simply being a witness to, by and with your self. It may arise from a need to explore to discover the self as much as the world in mindful introspection and contemplation. Every now and then a little time spent quietly with your self can truly help expand and regain the much needed equanimity to handle the worldly issues.

Meditations are a positive wonderful way to recharge our system.

Do you like to find time to be alone

With your thoughts and nothing else?

Do share

Dance of the Trees

Have you witnessed the trees dance?

Swaying in the winds with soaring spirits

Beckoning the sky to rain some more …

Even a seemingly barren tree

Is full of life and alive in every moment

Ready to spring with a freshness of spirit

Even the dry parched roots, shapes into a new life.

The branches may be dried but trust nature to grow some more

And fill the senses once more

With vibrant hues of leaves in all shades of green.

Being a tree is a mighty task

Sheltering and shading every passerby

Giving fruits is a labour of love

Receiving carbon and sharing oxygen

And standing rooted to the ground

In all its natural abundance

For life to spring countless times

With nesting birds and the burrowing bees

The spirit of the tree is all heart

Sharing beyond compare

And watch as the world passes it by

In the echelons of time.

Trees stand the test of time

Of guts and glory upholding untold stories

Letting go the falling leaves in every day

Letting go the fright of loneliness and the pain of loss

Cos it knows the circle of life only too well…

What goes comes around

Like a breath of fresh air and a bud that is ready to spring.

Intuition & The Art of Listening

A Matter of Fine Tuning :

Intuition is defined as the ability to understand something instinctively, without the need for conscious reasoning.

Your cells are intuitive and have a memory bank of information that is stored experientially.

How they synthesize and process that information may depend on many factors especially on how healthy they are and what kind of nutrition they continue to have.

However, they are continuously in communication with you. Your sense of intuition is a part of their communicative process. So is your gut feeling and perhaps maybe even a hunch or a sense of dejavu…

That familiar feeling of knowing someone or something before even meeting them.

The rush of emotions amidst certain memories may be your intuitive sense of your cellular being getting a higher intensity of messages.

The tense feeling before a certain situation or place person or thing maybe you are getting a message across from your own survival mechanism.
Your clenched fist or the butterflies in your stomach, the knotted feeling deep within… are all perhaps a forewarning to be more present in this now than you actually are …

There is always much listening to do if you wish to decode these flashes of thoughts and feelings. In fact, they are your inbuilt guide and gifts of life. Acknowledge them for what they are.

Here are a 5 ways towards strengthening your sense of intuition.

1: Sense what you feel ... often we may never care to sense the fleeting feeling that may come along about something or someone at the first connect … That is often your intuitive self trying to send you a message.

2: Spend some time reconnecting with your self in meditation or even walk silently for a while every day being one with nature.

3: Be expressive of what you are, never stifle your thoughts and bottle up. Allow yourself to manifest freely. Remember your life is precious in itself. Live life lovingly.

4: Be trusting and trustworthy. If you can accept the world around as it is and work on evolving yourself for the better perhaps then the way you see the world will change. Positivity will emanate in your ways and that will ease up any rigidity from within to a  flexible state of being.

5 : Remember to differentiate between your overthinking which is simply creating patterns of thoughts in anxiousness and your sense of intuition Intuition comes from the place of a calm knowing.

Most importantly acknowledge your intuitive feelings. For without that intuition remains underdeveloped.

How much do you value your intuition?
How much do you allow it to manifest itself?

Do you care to nurture it?Do you care to listen when your intuitive sense talks to you?
Or do you choose to ignore it and move on?
Do you recall any instance of how you listened to your intuitive self?
Do share your thoughts.

Why Write?

Treat your thoughts tenderly

Like petals of life’s myriad beauties

Watch your unique thoughts appear

Out of nowhere and everywhere

And when they do

Why don’t u take some time out

To nourish your self

Jot them down as they come

Rushing through or slow

It matters not what you write

As long as it makes your soul free.

Savvy

Writing is an expressive experience. The one that has many benefits in itself. From the psychological point of view where it makes you think and communicate better to the emotional aspects of bettering your ability to deal with your own emotions. It helps you work with your pain and process the thoughts in a rethink. It helps you stay motivated as you can record your progression as well. It helps sort out your own thoughts.

A significant aspect worth considering is when you focus on the positive and write with an attitude of gratitude for life itself there are much more health benefits than writing with grudges.

Most importantly as you write you are able to let go of worries and stresses that you may accumulate in the course of time through the physical act of writing.

Personally speaking, having studied a bit of Graphology, I have always felt that the very act of writing your thoughts on paper is healing through the movement itself An act fast disappearing in today’s changing times. Children today write much lesser physically with a pen on paper.

The truth is writing is a greater healer in itself.

And to share your writing is to learn some more.

Every writer has many or no reasons about what, when and why they write …what is yours?
Care to share?

Keep writing! keep sharing!

On Thoughts

Our thoughts can make or break us in every now.. and our life seems like a hell or a blessing in the way our thoughts unfold . Every life has a unique purpose and a perseveres on with the thoughts to fulfill its being .

A transition in thoughts is an expansive  phenomena in continuity . It courses on even in attempted conquering of thoughts through control or manipulation of its meanderings into an intentional channeling in consciousness.

Every thought carries weight of our feelings and emotions and vis versa.  The purpose of sensing recognising identifying defocussing and letting go all can be a liberating process .The power of being a witness to your own thoughts is a learning that  can help transcend our limiting beliefs and assumptions. Often practised in the many self awareness programs when practised with dedication and imbibed as a way of life,  they are great tools in human evolution .

Transcending thoughts is  never easy  as  it is truly a choice and practise as thoughts come and go ..the patterns we choose to create with, through and in them, makes one consciously or subconsciously a sculptor of ones life.  And through every exercise of such a choice we leave a mark in time. That said yet, when we choose to make our presence felt and how we emerge will all figure out along the way in the strength of an interrelation of thoughts in interdependence.

What are your thoughts on this?

Do feel free to share.
