Our expectations are our internal picture of what we anticipate will happen in future. When our expectations are met we are happy but when not, they set us up for disappointments.
Setting the expectations and giving clarity can be effective in a professional environment. Yet when we do not communicate it or when we set unrealistic expectations it can lead to anxiety frustration & loss of trust.
A few traits to develop that help in handling our expectations better.
Communication : Acing our internal and external communication establishes an understanding of the expectations.
Adaptability : An art of change management. In being adaptable to a new and different reality we learn to manage our expectations.
Kindness & compassion : Both help us hone our attitudes. The way we feel and emote during a challenging moment helps us manage and alter the situation.
Patience : A virtue that helps us to not be too exacting on ourselves and others.
Equanimity : Being non judgmental helps in being less edgy and more balanced in our expectations.
After all…
Less you expect Less you worry Less you stress More is the faith More the love More life

Cymatics is a subset of modal vibrational phenomena.A form of sound therapy that is not applied through hearing, but by instruments that send audible sound waves directly into the body through the skin.
The term was coined by Hans Jenny, a Swiss follower of the philosophical school known as anthroposophy. Jenny published a book about the structure, dynamics, and effects of sound vibrations in 1967. Present-day cymatic therapy was largely developed by Sir Peter Guy Manners, an English medical doctor and osteopath, starting in the 1960s.Wikipedia

In Acceptance, there are many perspectives in the understanding. Acceptance as I see it, is not giving up or being in the same place. To me a practice of self acceptance is an ability to respect the now and in turn acknowledge the transient nature of everything. To accept then is to be able to have a feel or a vision of the situation as it is experienced in the now. Acceptance is often seen as being defenseless.
Yet to envision that acceptance comes from a place of strength, is to be able to understand that we are not one entity but made of many parts that matter to the whole. So the stance of acceptance is about flow & movements in the stillness, in hope to evolve in time along with the changes.
In the vividness of imagination At times there is a turbulence of thoughts. Of emotions entwined in the sensing. Moving beyond, patterns forming…
Inspiration & ingenuity births itself In the very uniqueness of individuality Yet the source of creativity is infinity Such is the divine artistry of creation
The discussion became heated, and the two decided to submit the issue to arbitration, and to do so they approached the lion.
Before reaching the clearing in the forest where the lion was sitting on his throne, the donkey started screaming: ′′Your Highness, isn’t it true that the grass is blue?”
The lion replied: “True, the grass is blue”.
The donkey rushed forward and continued: ′′The tiger disagrees with me and contradicts me and annoys me. Please punish him”.
The king then declared: ′′The tiger will be punished with 5 years of silence”.
The donkey jumped with joy and went on his way, content and repeating: ′′The grass is blue”..
The tiger accepted his punishment, but he asked the lion: ′′Your Majesty, why have you punished me, after all, the grass is green?”
Truth asserts itself!
The lion replied: ′′In fact, the grass is green”.
The tiger asked: ′′So why do you punish me?”
The lion replied:
That has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green. The punishment is because it is not possible for a brave, intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with a donkey, and on top of that to come and bother me with that question.
Your time is precious!
The worst waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who doesn’t care about truth or reality, but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions. Never waste time on discussions that make no sense…
There are people who for all the evidence presented to them, do not have the ability to understand, and others who are blinded by ego, hatred and resentment, and the only thing that they want is to be right even if they aren’t.
What to focus on ? Choice is yours!
When ignorance screams, intelligence shuts up. Your peace and tranquility are worth more.

All is a game like the tides that tame Even the strongest surfer … Eternal to all is time and nothing else And sparking in the cosmos we are all just wayfarers
Tread softly Love authentically Live lovingly Behave empathically Speak truthfully Move consciously Grow gratefully !
We all sail in the same boat of unending hope We all learn of life in the living Sharing experiences along the way. We adjust our sails as we sense the winds of wisdom blow And follow in hope of discovering more in the flow… And in the leading and the following Life goes on… Finding meaning for itself!
