Live Life Lovingly!

How?

This caption caught my eye. Sharing my thoughts…

Agreed finding the self is the key

In every moment of living.

For living it purposefully.

Yet the question remains…

How?

To find yourself

And be alive to life in every now.

Simply be

Be present to the moment

Give it your full attention

Acknowledge what is in this now

Be open to possibilities

Allow space to accept

What is.

Know what is, is not all.

There is much potential in you

That is awaiting your awareness

Breathe in hope and let fear go

This way you consciously create

Space to grow.

To allow perspectives

To be inspired

To aspire in hope…

And be all that you can be.

Any other answers?

Do share your thoughts.

Mastering Thoughts

Thinking is a gift of humanity

Beyond the primal instincts

Thoughts can be a complex maze

Self serving or otherwise

It is necessary to align thoughts

So that they don’t turn chaotic.

Channeling thoughts to align

Towards a higher purpose

Bridges the pathway to peace

So can we truly master our thoughts?
Often considered daunting in itself

For we are swayed by a zillion thoughts,
In every moment we are alive.
But if we begin to understand
That mastering is about integrations
It’s a connection of our senses.
In managing our mind moods & actions.

The simple act of choosing
One thought over the other
Is a choice we have with us.
We are our own masters
We are enslaved by own selves.

Our life is created in these choices
We choose to think and make.

Mastering thoughts is the challenge…

That decides how we choose to feel
Yet if we only let ourselves tap
Into our intuitive intelligence

We will find our inner guide
That is always on our side.

On Optimism

Optimism

Musings on Positive Mindsetting and Optimism by my mother Anjana.

Love this piece by her.

Seeing the glass half full or half empty makes a lot of difference to your mind set. Positive thinking is not to ignore the negativities of
matters or situations. It is to see the options to overcome the obstacles in the best possible way. Seeing goodness and being positive reduces unnecessary stress and unwanted heaviness of heart. It lightens the mind, to a cheerful mood and to a healthy you.

Being positive does not erase the difficulties or seriousness of the problem. But when you look at the light out side the dark tunnel, finding ways to cross the darkness becomes easier. The severity of the dark cloud fades away when you have the bright Sun in your vision. A positive mind strengthens your will power to cope up in situations , reduces your stress level resulting in a healthier you, increases life span.

A positive mind can identify and filter the negative thoughts at its seed level and tries to steer away from it. Devoid of imaginary fears you can see problems at its reality with an optimistic mind. Approaching life, facing its realities with a positive attitude makes solutions easier. It gives you better resiliency over adversity, reduces depression, improves your immunity. When your mental strength is increased, it becomes easy to identify and manage challenges, to bring out best positive results.

A positive mind makes you more stronger, , more communicative, more people friendly, more humorous, & healthier. It makes you a better person to be with.
Always be positive, be happy, be healthy. Surround yourself with positive people.

A flower

When we see a flower

What emotions are evoked?

The sight of blooms

Freshens up the mood

Heavenly fragrance wafting in

Delicate beauty enthralls

Visual treat delights our senses

Joy & enthusiasm abounds

What are your thoughts

On the sight of a flower 🌼

Life and living

Life and Living soulful stories share that come my way…

John D Rockfeller was once the richest man in the world. The first billionaire in the world. By age 25, he controlled one of the largest oil refineries in the US. By age 31, he had become the world’s largest oil refiner. By age 38, he commanded 90% of the oil refined in the U.S.
By 50, he was the richest man in the country. As a young man, every decision, attitude, and relationship was tailored to create his personal power and wealth.

But at the age of 53, he became ill. His entire body became racked with pain and he lost all of his hair. In complete agony, the world’s only billionaire could buy anything he wanted, but he could only digest soup and crackers. An associate wrote, He could not sleep, would not smile and nothing in life meant anything to him. His personal, highly skilled physicians predicted he would die within a year. That year passed agonizingly slowly.

As he approached death he awoke one morning with the vague realisation of not being able to take any of his wealth with him into the next world. The man who could control the business world suddenly realized he was not in control of his own life. He was left with a choice.

He called his attorneys, accountants, and managers and announced that he wanted to channel his Assets to Hospitals, Research, and Charity work. John D. Rockefeller
established his Foundation. This new direction eventually led to the discovery of penicillin, cures for malaria, tuberculosis and diphtheria. But perhaps the most amazing part of Rockefeller’s story is that the moment he began to give back a portion of all that he had earned, his
body’s chemistry was altered so significantly that he got better. It looked as if he would die at 53 but he lived to be 98. Rockefeller learned gratitude and gave back the vast majority of his wealth. Doing so made him whole. It is one thing to be healed. It is another to be made whole.

Before his death, he wrote this in his dairy, “The Supreme Energy taught me, that everything belongs to Him and I am only a channel to comply his wishes. My life has been one long, happy holiday; Full of work and full of play I dropped the worry on the way and God was
good to me every day.”

A profound message in those words.

A little mystery

Writers knowingly or unknowingly

Reveal a lot through words

In the way they write

In the words they choose

To express themselves

If the writer adopts a style

It becomes his identity

A pattern begins to form

Of the soul through the words

Yet there is always more

Than the words can tell

More dimensions

In the perspectives

For every life is a mystery

In itself to unearth in time.

Cultivate the good

It is a habit of a lifetime  to cultivate
To remember to be kinder to oneself  as much as another
It’s good to acknowledge the now
And remember every movement is happening
As it is preordained.
Let worries take a backseat
As well as the need for overt perfection.
Just keep the faith and hope alive in your heart
Simply know deep within…
All is well as it is meant to be.

Just be

Just be…
Witness the wisdom

In the stillness
Beneath the din

In the silence
Betwixt the sound

In the spaces
Between  the moves
Just be

Life & Living Truths

Truths of life & living…

Take stock of strengths

Work in sustainable ways

Take stock of your weaknesses

And work to minimize them.

Acknowledge opportunities

And remember to be quick to respond

Watch out for threats

At every turn tread cautiously.

But above this all, focus

Where you know improvements are needed.

Keep this practise consistent…

And watch life turn around for you

Can you help the world thrive?

If you can help the world you influence thrive…

Then you are a true leader

In being a leader

There is an unspoken responsibility…

Of creating a space for growth & acknowledgement

Of ideas and explorations

Of possibilities in the potential

Of development of the individuals

Of nurturing the spirit in patience and strategy

Of accountability of the purpose.

Of ensuring discipline and compliances when needed

Of using appreciation as an evolved method of correction.

Of empathy in thoughts words & action for the followers.

When the leader practices

All of the above consistently in time

Then all the directive of such a leader

Gets understood and supported in kind by the followers

And that is when managing change becomes easier for the leader

For all begin to thrive in this way….

And thats when leadership becomes an art.

And life thrives.

Travel on

If you are given an opportunity to take a journey

Take it, for you meet many versions of you.

Along the road.

Some you cherish, some cherish you.

Some that change you and some that you change.

Fear not the travel or the traveling…

For one thing is certain

You come away enriched and wiser in every journey.

Travel to liberate yourself
From self assumed notions
To see the light on the other side
There is much to unlearn and unbox
As you travel yield in to the insights
Travel every once in a while if opportunity arises,

Take the chance,
You are richer in your explorations much as your experiences.
Travel on …

On Children

A child can teach us to love life

A child can remind us to be present in this now.

Nurturing a child is a learning

In resilience and responsibility.

Of our strengths & vulnerability.

Children are our teachers of tommorow.

Live and let live

Can you hold your breath,

Can you hold the moment …

You have to let both go in time

Nature is meant to be free

You are meant to flow

Sense your movements

Have a rhythm of its own

In this dance of life.

Witness and acknowledge

Life’s myriad expressions

Live and let live
