Seeing light

Your yesterday may have seemed very tough
Your entire body may have taken a toll
Your head and heart may have felt heavy
Your eyes may have welled up in tears
Your emotions choking you
Your breathing may have been constricted
Your muscles may have felt tight. Your steps laboured and dragging
Perhaps a sense of resignment may have reigned all through the day…


Yes it may have been more than you could handle
But handle you did
For you are alive and kicking.
Today your heart is lighter
And you are breathing easy
With a song on your lips
And a dance in your steps
Your body willing
And in enthusiastic spirit Looking forward to another day
To put in your very best
And make it another great day!

The question is then, what is  happening in you, one moment to another
And what are you doing to alter the effects of the moment.
And what actually alters everything.
Simply put, your own thoughts
And the power of your choice
Choosing one thought over the other.

Trust life to show many colours every day but know you have the choice in how you choose see and perceive it.

Every day can be good or bad day…
But it’s in the way you chose see it… That changes the day!

Master your mind they say

Has power to change and rearrange

Your state of being.

Life is precious

Have faith and trust

The path of compassion knows not separateness

Flowing in love of life in lightness

In the sparks of surging intuition

To be tender & move with compassion

Beyond mankind to all living being.

Of another soul in recognition

So join in to experience in embrace of compassion

Beyond intellect and reason and other egoistic delusions

Join the circle of conscious compassion.

Unite with single minded purpose of communion.

Share without fear or favour

All that you divinely revere

As every journey is a reunion

Of the spirit to another in Godliness .

The energy from such an authentic action

Creates oneness and peace

In and around us.

And a sense of belonging

To this vast wide world

Comes in the knowing

Of our owing to this

world and the beings around us.

We are not alone ever …

Works like a prayer…

For life to have meaning.

Handling Difficult People

Every one faces difficult people in their lives. And for some like service sectors, coaches, consultants and medics, their job has many moments of handling difficult people and tricky situations as well.

There are many types of difficult people

Like the pessimistic ones who always find what won’t work first for anything new. They have nothing positive to say or share. But always play the devils advocate.

Handling them can be extremely difficult in front of a team full of people but it is wise to acknowledge them and then reframe their perspectives with a positive positioning and interpretation to turn it around carefully.

Interestingly there are a lot many in the know it all category, with an attitude & arrogance of knowledge & experience to boot.

An effective way to tackle would be to appreciate them but ask them to share the data and facts associated with what they proclaim to ensure authenticity. It is also challenging but necessary to request for humility in these peer to peer conversations.

There are then those who are two sided who say nothing to your face but are habitual complainers. There is a need to understand the origin of of their doubts and worries and where they are coming from in order to work it out thereby creating a safe and secure atmosphere.

Difficult  people are difficult to handle. But it’s not impossible or something to shy away from. Simply the handling needs discernment and care. And not everyone can handle difficult people. Tact, diplomacy, confidence, clarity of purpose and vision  go a long way in handing difficult people and problems.

Spirited Sky.

Today I happened to glance up at the sky

I was taken by its beauty.

Brilliant hues of blue

Adding brightness to the world

Whiffs of white clouds floating around

Like cotton fluffs patterned as two beautiful swans

Swimming in pure blue sea.

I imagine then,

The Spirited sky sending forth a sign…

Around the horizon, a tinge of orange yellow sun

Spreading hope & possibilities.

I listened  to my heart
Every day
As it shares from within
And I write them out as words
Sometimes as verses
At times it’s measured
In moderation.
Its a zen moment
For there is clarity
In just a few words shared.

Then there are times
They flow like a river
A torrent in a current
Patterning itself
In its own making
Words come through me
As if it needs to be spoken
Sharing the sensitivity
Of the moments at hand.


I listen simply with rapt attention.
For in the slightest flutter
In every movement in the moments
Or the depth of silence.
There is always something more.

We are strings of matter

And what was meant to be for alignment ,  instead creates imbalances.

Care to acknowledge our stringed existence in the interconnects.
Aspire to untangle the threads yet value the rootedness therein.


Aim to reach beyond the shackles of being

A blessing in disguise

On Sensitivity

Every life is unique

And each of us on this planet

Have different personality traits

Our heart and mind is wired

In infinitely different ways.

An acknowledgment of the uniqueness to life

Makes us understand how valuable we each can be.

A little sensitivity goes a long way…

Although people cannot be compartmentalised

There are many ways nature and nurture impacts

Some hardened by life in resilience

Some suppress their emotions

Causing imbalances within

Some sensitive to sense the subtler energies

And Some who wear their heart on their sleeves

Expressing emotions and feelings away…

It can be challenging

For they also hurt easily.

For they sense a flood of emotions

They are often extremely receptive

As well as empathic in their sensing.

And often quick to understand

Perhaps they are blessed with subtlety

Of perception & awareness

With a highly developed intuition

For they are sensitive & emotional beings

They are who they are as they are.

Sensitivity can be blessing in disguise

Yet Sensitivity makes us humane

In the way we relate with the world

The planet needs sensitive souls

Who care a little more

Who sense and feel in empathic ways.

Let’s never discount this gift & virtue

In these sensitive souls.

For how we sense and feel

Affects what path and actions we choose to take.

And the world around is but a reflection of who we are
