Humility is a conscious practice in awareness. Until it becomes a way of life. In knowing that there is always more Than what the eyes can see Or the spirit can do
The soul knows To reach beyond knowing It is important to acknowledge the space To allow learning to take place Humility is dormant When ego is dominant. Humility is patience in waiting A practice of humility In thoughts words & deeds, In listening to understand, In letting go in faith and fortitude, In making way for gratitude In being hopeful in trust In moderation and measure Can unlock the inner potential For humility is full of possibilities.
Our thought vibrations create a change, even a single one Make sure to think well! Words create waves, even a single word Make sure it is positive! Actions create ripples even a single deed Make sure it’s well intended!
Patience awaits
In faith and belief
Patience is understanding
For patience hones itself
For the suitable moments.
Patience is non-judgmental
Patience bears the burden
Of the moments
Knowing the power of time.
Patience is resilience in action
Patience is strength of the spirit
Patience speaks volumes of the soul
Without a word or deed.
Such is the wisdom of Patience
For much is resolved in patience.
A true Companion for Wisdom is Patience and a lot of life’s so called situations which need solutions can be resolved by thinking differently !
Musings on Positive Mindsetting and Optimism by my mother Anjana.
Love this piece by her.
Seeing the glass half full or half empty makes a lot of difference to your mind set. Positive thinking is not to ignore the negativities of matters or situations. It is to see the options to overcome the obstacles in the best possible way. Seeing goodness and being positive reduces unnecessary stress and unwanted heaviness of heart. It lightens the mind, to a cheerful mood and to a healthy you.
Being positive does not erase the difficulties or seriousness of the problem. But when you look at the light out side the dark tunnel, finding ways to cross the darkness becomes easier. The severity of the dark cloud fades away when you have the bright Sun in your vision. A positive mind strengthens your will power to cope up in situations , reduces your stress level resulting in a healthier you, increases life span.
A positive mind can identify and filter the negative thoughts at its seed level and tries to steer away from it. Devoid of imaginary fears you can see problems at its reality with an optimistic mind. Approaching life, facing its realities with a positive attitude makes solutions easier. It gives you better resiliency over adversity, reduces depression, improves your immunity. When your mental strength is increased, it becomes easy to identify and manage challenges, to bring out best positive results.
A positive mind makes you more stronger, , more communicative, more people friendly, more humorous, & healthier. It makes you a better person to be with. Always be positive, be happy, be healthy. Surround yourself with positive people.
Once Arjuna asked Krishna- Madhav.. What is this ‘successful life’?
Krishna took Arjuna to fly kites. Arjuna was watching Krishna carefully flying a kite.
After a while Arjuna said-
Madhav.. Because of this thread, the kite is not able to move freely and upwards, should we break it? It will go higher.
Krishna broke the thread..
The kite went up a little more and then came down after waving and fell at a distant unknown place…
Then Krishna explained the philosophy of life to Arjuna. Parth.. ‘The height we are at in life.. We often feel that certain things to which we are tied are preventing us from going higher; like : -House- -family- -Dicipline- -mother-father- -master-and- -Society-
And we want to be free from them…
In fact, these are the threads – which keep us at that height.
‘Without these threads we will go up once, but later we will have the same fate that happened to a kite without thread…’
“So, if you want to remain on the top in life, then never break your relationship with these threads.”
The height attained by successful balance of thread and kite-like attachment is called ‘successful life..”
Life and Living soulful stories share that come my way…
John D Rockfeller was once the richest man in the world. The first billionaire in the world. By age 25, he controlled one of the largest oil refineries in the US. By age 31, he had become the world’s largest oil refiner. By age 38, he commanded 90% of the oil refined in the U.S. By 50, he was the richest man in the country. As a young man, every decision, attitude, and relationship was tailored to create his personal power and wealth.
But at the age of 53, he became ill. His entire body became racked with pain and he lost all of his hair. In complete agony, the world’s only billionaire could buy anything he wanted, but he could only digest soup and crackers. An associate wrote, He could not sleep, would not smile and nothing in life meant anything to him. His personal, highly skilled physicians predicted he would die within a year. That year passed agonizingly slowly.
As he approached death he awoke one morning with the vague realisation of not being able to take any of his wealth with him into the next world. The man who could control the business world suddenly realized he was not in control of his own life. He was left with a choice.
He called his attorneys, accountants, and managers and announced that he wanted to channel his Assets to Hospitals, Research, and Charity work. John D. Rockefeller established his Foundation. This new direction eventually led to the discovery of penicillin, cures for malaria, tuberculosis and diphtheria. But perhaps the most amazing part of Rockefeller’s story is that the moment he began to give back a portion of all that he had earned, his body’s chemistry was altered so significantly that he got better. It looked as if he would die at 53 but he lived to be 98. Rockefeller learned gratitude and gave back the vast majority of his wealth. Doing so made him whole. It is one thing to be healed. It is another to be made whole.
Before his death, he wrote this in his dairy, “The Supreme Energy taught me, that everything belongs to Him and I am only a channel to comply his wishes. My life has been one long, happy holiday;Full of work and full of play I dropped the worry on the way and God was good to me every day.”
The way we feel has much to do with the way we think The way we think has much to do with the way we behave The way we behave has much to do with our notions assumptions and perceptions. And the way we are perceived has much to do with the way we carry ourselves. Our personality & attitude is our projection of our personas Our nature is interweaved with the emotional state of being . In acknowledging this… Our life’s journey evolves in awareness.
What we say to ourselves Is immensely impactful! Lets understand the power Within each of us. Let’s review our internal dialogues…
When you are about to say ‘ Let me give up’ Change it to Let me try again
When you think I am not enough Can you say I am capable as I am.
When you fear failure Can you learn from failure And emerge stronger from the experience
Life truly has many possibilities For those who care to see And acknowledge life’s lessons.
