A picture that is open to so many interesting interpretations…
Is this a stairway to heaven The path that sets you free Steps that lead the way To the light of eternal truth
Your life is given to you A knowing is bestowed upon you In hope that you will seek And find the truth of your being. All answers are within you To sense and understand Life is both hell and heaven if you wish. All it needs is a stairway to the within. Savvy
Friend… such a beautiful word! I loved this particular space at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Belgium and felt so much at home there. Although it meant become a friend of the museum…the fact was, there was so much positive energy simply being in it.
Be a friend reach out to care Be inclusive and expansive Our world needs more of it. Care to open your heart and share Express your hopes and aspirations Love life enough to live it lovingly!
Children are creative innately and their childish curiosity often opens up the spaces yet unexplained and quite unexpectedly so.
Speaking of a child’s imagination and an adult’s ability to retain a childlike mindset, it boosts the creative thinking with fresh and unbiased perspectives. Much is in the way we perceive the arising patterns.
Complex problems are also known to be solved with this kind of approach. In the very ability to allow the self to let go, one’s vision broadens.
Old school methods of education often restricted the divergent expansion of creativity so as to structure its flow to converge in rigidity. But applying this agile & flexible approach can be an enriching experience for the mind and body.
In allowing ourselves spaces for our thoughts to self pattern in free play, acknowledging open-ended questions, of what if, how, why so and dare to dream fearlessly, andwonder, we might discover a pattern that connects the unfamiliar or yet seemingly distant dots.
A child like enthusiasm
Awe and wonder
Curiosity coupled with imagination
That knows no bounds
Could perhaps be a great creative approach
To solve complex problems.
For ultimately it is a matter of connecting the dots.
Uneasy lies the head that wears the Crown Tentacles of power Seeping from within, Surging of the webbed grasp The unnerving truth of rigidity The vicelike grip of conformity The stronghold of absolute authority The merciless and binding royalty. Expectations of undivided loyalty. The Crown bears the burden Often silently withholding expressions.
The choice rests with the wearer of the crown 👑
Yet …
When passion drives the power with a larger purpose beyond self in perseverance and patience
So can we truly master our thoughts?
Often considered daunting in itself
For we are swayed by a zillion thoughts,
In every moment we are alive.
But if we begin to understand
That mastering is about integrations
It’s a connection of our senses.
In managing our mind moods & actions.
The simple act of choosing
One thought over the other
Is a choice we have with us.
We are our own masters
We are enslaved by own selves.
Our life is created in these choices
We choose to think and make.
Mastering thoughts is the challenge…
That decides how we choose to feel
Yet if we only let ourselves tap
Into our intuitive intelligence
We will find our inner guide
That is always on our side.
Musings on Positive Mindsetting and Optimism by my mother Anjana.
Love this piece by her.
Seeing the glass half full or half empty makes a lot of difference to your mind set. Positive thinking is not to ignore the negativities of matters or situations. It is to see the options to overcome the obstacles in the best possible way. Seeing goodness and being positive reduces unnecessary stress and unwanted heaviness of heart. It lightens the mind, to a cheerful mood and to a healthy you.
Being positive does not erase the difficulties or seriousness of the problem. But when you look at the light out side the dark tunnel, finding ways to cross the darkness becomes easier. The severity of the dark cloud fades away when you have the bright Sun in your vision. A positive mind strengthens your will power to cope up in situations , reduces your stress level resulting in a healthier you, increases life span.
A positive mind can identify and filter the negative thoughts at its seed level and tries to steer away from it. Devoid of imaginary fears you can see problems at its reality with an optimistic mind. Approaching life, facing its realities with a positive attitude makes solutions easier. It gives you better resiliency over adversity, reduces depression, improves your immunity. When your mental strength is increased, it becomes easy to identify and manage challenges, to bring out best positive results.
A positive mind makes you more stronger, , more communicative, more people friendly, more humorous, & healthier. It makes you a better person to be with. Always be positive, be happy, be healthy. Surround yourself with positive people.
Life and Living soulful stories share that come my way…
John D Rockfeller was once the richest man in the world. The first billionaire in the world. By age 25, he controlled one of the largest oil refineries in the US. By age 31, he had become the world’s largest oil refiner. By age 38, he commanded 90% of the oil refined in the U.S. By 50, he was the richest man in the country. As a young man, every decision, attitude, and relationship was tailored to create his personal power and wealth.
But at the age of 53, he became ill. His entire body became racked with pain and he lost all of his hair. In complete agony, the world’s only billionaire could buy anything he wanted, but he could only digest soup and crackers. An associate wrote, He could not sleep, would not smile and nothing in life meant anything to him. His personal, highly skilled physicians predicted he would die within a year. That year passed agonizingly slowly.
As he approached death he awoke one morning with the vague realisation of not being able to take any of his wealth with him into the next world. The man who could control the business world suddenly realized he was not in control of his own life. He was left with a choice.
He called his attorneys, accountants, and managers and announced that he wanted to channel his Assets to Hospitals, Research, and Charity work. John D. Rockefeller established his Foundation. This new direction eventually led to the discovery of penicillin, cures for malaria, tuberculosis and diphtheria. But perhaps the most amazing part of Rockefeller’s story is that the moment he began to give back a portion of all that he had earned, his body’s chemistry was altered so significantly that he got better. It looked as if he would die at 53 but he lived to be 98. Rockefeller learned gratitude and gave back the vast majority of his wealth. Doing so made him whole. It is one thing to be healed. It is another to be made whole.
Before his death, he wrote this in his dairy, “The Supreme Energy taught me, that everything belongs to Him and I am only a channel to comply his wishes. My life has been one long, happy holiday;Full of work and full of play I dropped the worry on the way and God was good to me every day.”
