Your Three Words…

These last 3 days of sharing my artworks has been quite an enjoyable experience. It has opened up new vistas of thoughts in envisioning.

My Painting on Day 3 was titled :

The Spirit of Dance

Many of your Word interpretations were quite in synch with it.

Wanted to reflect the simple joy of dance movements in the freedom of being, each as unique as the dancer.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading and responding to each of your creative responses for all three of my artworks.🙏🏼

All of your words are truly incredible and so very imaginative.
Thank you so much for joining in this little experiment in creativity.
Hope to share more of my works and continue this series in the future.

Speaking about my artworks that I posted…
All these Artworks are my paintings from back in time that I happened to chance upon again. I wanted to see if they still meant the same to me in time. I then thought of sharing it in a post the way I did, just for the little collaborative creativity and joy in the sharing.

The multitude of meanings in it, for each of you and the interpretations put forth in the responses were truly each a journey in itself.
In these times of lockdowns the world has had time to pause and reflect and has perhaps chosen to engage with varied creative enrichments in much deeper and fulfilling ways.

What do you see?Day 3

Hello my dear readers, Every day for three consecutive days I have been sharing one of my own paintings from my Artworks Collection.

Here is my Painting share on Day 3:

My painting share on Day 2 is

Titled : Vortex

Random impressions in the expression.

Signifying the dance of thoughts in the space creating a vortex through the patterns formed in the dynamics of the flow.

Deeply appreciate the amazing creativity that flowed from all of you for this post.

What was quite unique was how many attributed this to flames and fire . I suppose it had much to do with the color red. It was beautiful to acknowledge that every word you used to describe the painting sets off on a serious of trajectories in contemplation showing the vividity of our unique thoughts.

I look forward to reading your words on today’s artwork.

Hello my dear readers,

Every day for three consecutive days I am sharing one of my own paintings from my Artworks Collection.

As promised… Day 1: My yesterday’s painting share was titled Faces I ave always enjoyed and love drawing the human face & profile. I created a face in a face and kept shaping the profiles, side by side depicting the many dimensions to the face, as I continued to flow through with it. There is certainly a whole lot of blues depicting the moods and the mind. My interest in drawing the human face also made me write these two poems:

On Empathy

Empathy is what empathy does.
Empathy cultivates bonds of trust.
Empathy speaks from understanding.
Empathy is not soft but sagacious.

Empathy promotes cooperation.
Empathy acknowledges with care.
Empathy shows consideration.
Empathy promotes goodwill.

Empathy Matters

Whenever there is empathy in action it is often mirrored by hearts and minds to create, generate, loving and caring thoughts as a response to the action.
Every empathic thought finds its way into expression through thoughts, words or deeds.

With increasing empathic thoughts and action there is unknowingly a connectedness,in valuing the interdependence in this web of life and living as a way of being. Empathy is truly a way of being and in these times of uncertainty, it is beginning to matter all the more in our life and living every day!

Birthing of creation

Growing in the learnings

Reaching the heights of accomplishment

Learning to grow in grace

Acceptance of inevitable

Sharing in the evolving

Retiring Gracefully

Resting & regenerating.

Such is the unending cycle

A circle of life!

With an idea to encapsulate life in its expansions and contractions and so on…

All is a flow in the circle of life.

A Message of Gratitude.

5 years on Word press
A mighty task for me
To stay on, dedicated
To my writings.
But WordPress gives the canvas
To paint my words every day.
It encourages from the background.
Never in your face or intrusive.
But silently keeping tabs,
On every learning curve.
Rejoicing by a share
On every milestone
It has been a journey
Of many learnings
Along the way…

To my fellow writers & readers
Yes, I am no poet
Nor a writer by profession
I started on a lark
To dance with some words
To process my own thoughts
And give vent to my feelings
In a constructive and fulfilling way
And express I did
And continue to do, till date
With all my fellow writers
And readers, love, wishes & support.

We are an ever growing circle
Emerging through our words
In the sharing we have grown
We have eased into each other’s hearts
We may not see one another ever
But we have connected in mutual respect
Of each others creativity.
Though the power of words
Comforted and understood
Accepted and appreciated
One another in our own little ways.
For we all know the power of words
That, one heartfelt word can change a day!

Have the kindness to see the good
Disregard and cast off the negative
There will be much that may cloud
your vision.
There is much we do not know
We all have our own stories
Of trials and tribulations
It’s not easy for any of us.
And for some it may just be
A little extra tough these times.
Truly it takes nothing from you
To choose to stay positive
And stay nice no matter!

Our world is having it rough already
Let’s try and make it better
Each of us one kind gesture in time
Let’s leave imprints of kindness
In hearts and souls
Let us empower our spirit
To be hopeful and happy
All is meant to be well

Hello Mother
Hope you’re feeling alright
May the sun shine through the day
And may sky stay blue
May the waves be gentle
May the moon be bright and beautiful
May the stars sparkle & twinkle for you.

Hello mother
Forgive us for we have wronged you
We were too busy being selfish
That we never cared for our mother
You withstood it all & bore so much
I admire your resilience
How do you tolerate us so mother
For mistakes unpardonable?
