Poetry is a brilliant trickster
As much a true friend
For it masks the truth cleverly in words
As much as it heals away in the expressions.
In the letting go of dense emotions
Is the channeling towards balance
To the lightness of being
Where there is space created
In between thoughts and actions
For more cathartic connections.
Poetry revives the spirit of the soul
Through soulful words that flow
Out of nowhere explicable
For it has a purpose of its own
In trust know, that it finds itself
The path its meant to be.

Just a quick question…
How many of you writers, have felt people equating your creative writing with your life?
As a writer I do know that creativity comes up in the most unexpected moments. It may have or not at all have anything to your own experiences. Much of the creative process can happen in attention to details as a keen observer, in witness mode , in associations of thoughts and feelings and in sensing emotions in empathy, concern or care, that may have or not have any personal connotations.
Writing is the freedom of expression in flights of imagination, its a beautiful art and that is free for interpretation once it has been published. For the writer has chosen to let it go…
How it came to be, is a mystery sometimes to the Author too😉

Your yesterday may have seemed very tough
Your entire body may have taken a toll
Your head and heart may have felt heavy
Your eyes may have welled up in tears
Your emotions choking you
Your breathing may have been constricted
Your muscles may have felt tight. Your steps laboured and dragging
Perhaps a sense of resignment may have reigned all through the day…
Yes it may have been more than you could handle
But handle you did
For you are alive and kicking.
Today your heart is lighter
And you are breathing easy
With a song on your lips
And a dance in your steps
Your body willing
And in enthusiastic spirit Looking forward to another day
To put in your very best
And make it another great day!
The question is then, what is happening in you, one moment to another
And what are you doing to alter the effects of the moment.
And what actually alters everything.
Simply put, your own thoughts
And the power of your choice
Choosing one thought over the other.
Trust life to show many colours every day but know you have the choice in how you choose see and perceive it.

Are two different things
All have a life
Many acknowledge it
Few live it with will
But far few live it with love
Life is life after all
It’s in you
How you choose to live.

Know you have this one life
Care to live life lovingly?

Of Authenticity
Of Identity
Of Potential
Being you and being true to yourself is the simplest path towards your purpose.
And yet often being you at times can be challenging.
For life can demand much from you and you need to go beyond and bend backwards and forwards to surf through life’s unexpected turns.
But by being true to yourself you are at least sure to have your heart and head in check and balance, where your inner conscience meets your consciousness.
Embrace and embody your U-ness

An artist may give a shape to thoughts, its destiny is the result of the bubbles of thoughts in the connected flow.
Creativity is in each of us. We are blessed with much we are yet to understand.
Often we neglect the creative side in each of us and don’t find ourselves expressing it away, but tapping into it can open portals of yet unknown possibilities in each of us. And most of all gives us the courage to explore and embrace the unknown.

On Miscommunication
Nobody shares to confuse,
but at times the way of understanding and sharing can be confusing.
People are unique in the way they communicate with one another.
Some have oratory skills and make a profound impact in the way they speak, some are deeply introverted and reserved and say less.
Some have keen listening skills and hear to understand and others understand from visual senses. For them it’s about what they see for themselves than what they hear. So they pay lesser attention to sound but more to what they see.
Yet others are deeply intuitive that they sense the signs. They will be sensing beyond the words and vision.
Our unique senses are our biggest gifts but they can be the very reason for many misunderstandings between people.
In professional environment there is no room for errors and it can prove to be a costly mistake when internal and external communications gets misunderstood.
Hence its important to use the right communication channels. This helps align teams around a shared vision. Avoid departmental silos by helping different teams and departments to connect and work together. And ensure that there are developments towards cross-functional teams.
For the truth is, the way we communicate with one another can leave a lasting impression.

On Sensitivity
Every life is unique
And each of us on this planet
Have different personality traits
Our heart and mind is wired
In infinitely different ways.
An acknowledgment of the uniqueness to life
Makes us understand how valuable we each can be.
A little sensitivity goes a long way…
Although people cannot be compartmentalised
There are many ways nature and nurture impacts
Some hardened by life in resilience
Some suppress their emotions
Causing imbalances within
Some sensitive to sense the subtler energies
And Some who wear their heart on their sleeves
Expressing emotions and feelings away…
It can be challenging
For they also hurt easily.
For they sense a flood of emotions
They are often extremely receptive
As well as empathic in their sensing.
And often quick to understand
Perhaps they are blessed with subtlety
Of perception & awareness
With a highly developed intuition
For they are sensitive & emotional beings
They are who they are as they are.
Sensitivity can be blessing in disguise
Yet Sensitivity makes us humane
In the way we relate with the world
The planet needs sensitive souls
Who care a little more
Who sense and feel in empathic ways.
Let’s never discount this gift & virtue
In these sensitive souls.
For how we sense and feel
Affects what path and actions we choose to take.
And the world around is but a reflection of who we are

Trying to justify the senses
A tool for expression
Language has its own limitations
And what to speak of love
For love is limitless
In its depth of feeling
Expansive in its reaching
Far beyond words in the knowing.
Language of love
Is best spoken sensed
From one heart to another
And what to speak of mother’s love
Unconditional in its flow
Sensed and known without a word
A bliss in the bless.
