The Parodox of Beauty 2
Beauty is what beauty feels
Continuing in a series on Life and Living … The subject of Beauty brings to mind its paradox As mentioned in my last article I would like to reflect on this with my readers and fellow writers and work in collaboration towards a certain consensus if attainable .

“Anything that pleases the eye is beautiful..How much exquisite or breath-taking the physical beauty may be… it’s just skin deep. Beyond that all is same.
A wise soul has this awareness. Though the elements may be the same, their arrangement makes the difference. But there is beauty in the wilderness too.
The dancing flames of fire, the eruptive flowing and glowing lava of the volcono, the blowing sand making patterns on the sands of deserts, the mystery that lies in the underground caves, in the depths of the oceans, in the vast space that surround us , there is beauty in everything. Above all beauty has a connection with love in the heart. Even the so assumed ugliest child looks beautiful to it’s mother. After all beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. Can anything be more beautiful than a compassionate and kind heart that sees goodness in all.”

A blessing in disguise
On Sensitivity
Every life is unique
And each of us on this planet
Have different personality traits
Our heart and mind is wired
In infinitely different ways.
An acknowledgment of the uniqueness to life
Makes us understand how valuable we each can be.
A little sensitivity goes a long way…
Although people cannot be compartmentalised
There are many ways nature and nurture impacts
Some hardened by life in resilience
Some suppress their emotions
Causing imbalances within
Some sensitive to sense the subtler energies
And Some who wear their heart on their sleeves
Expressing emotions and feelings away…
It can be challenging
For they also hurt easily.
For they sense a flood of emotions
They are often extremely receptive
As well as empathic in their sensing.
And often quick to understand
Perhaps they are blessed with subtlety
Of perception & awareness
With a highly developed intuition
For they are sensitive & emotional beings
They are who they are as they are.
Sensitivity can be blessing in disguise
Yet Sensitivity makes us humane
In the way we relate with the world
The planet needs sensitive souls
Who care a little more
Who sense and feel in empathic ways.
Let’s never discount this gift & virtue

For how we sense and feel
Affects what path and actions we choose to take.

On Letting go
If you are feeling upset

So stay patient in perseverance

Writing is often a very cathartic experience.
Sometimes people unknowningly say things that hurt or upset another.
Today was one of those days. I chanced upon one of my old poems on letting go in forgiveness and it made much sense. I was able to move beyond simply by acknowledging the truth in those verses.
