Good deeds
Make life beautiful!
Value the life in you
To care enough
And take care…
Then You are enough for you.

On Sensitivity
Every life is unique
And each of us on this planet
Have different personality traits
Our heart and mind is wired
In infinitely different ways.
An acknowledgment of the uniqueness to life
Makes us understand how valuable we each can be.
A little sensitivity goes a long way…
Although people cannot be compartmentalised
There are many ways nature and nurture impacts
Some hardened by life in resilience
Some suppress their emotions
Causing imbalances within
Some sensitive to sense the subtler energies
And Some who wear their heart on their sleeves
Expressing emotions and feelings away…
It can be challenging
For they also hurt easily.
For they sense a flood of emotions
They are often extremely receptive
As well as empathic in their sensing.
And often quick to understand
Perhaps they are blessed with subtlety
Of perception & awareness
With a highly developed intuition
For they are sensitive & emotional beings
They are who they are as they are.
Sensitivity can be blessing in disguise
Yet Sensitivity makes us humane
In the way we relate with the world
The planet needs sensitive souls
Who care a little more
Who sense and feel in empathic ways.
Let’s never discount this gift & virtue
In these sensitive souls.
For how we sense and feel
Affects what path and actions we choose to take.
And the world around is but a reflection of who we are

Words are mere words
Trying to justify the senses
A tool for expression
Language has its own limitations
And what to speak of love
For love is limitless
In its depth of feeling
Expansive in its reaching
Far beyond words in the knowing.
Language of love
Is best spoken sensed
From one heart to another
And what to speak of mother’s love
Unconditional in its flow
Sensed and known without a word
A bliss in the bless.
Pure and precious.

There is great power
In being yourself
You will know
You are enough
To be all that you are
Be you
That’s what u are meant to be
When you arrive at being comfortable being yourself, and in front of others, your gifts will shine through and you will make a positive impact on this world.
All it takes is being the authentic you!

On Letting go
If you are feeling upset
Let time pass
Hurts will heal again
If you are angry
Let there be pauses
Anger will recede in the silence
If you are defeated
Let yourself know
That the world is a circle
The night breaks into a new dawn
With promises of a blessed new day!
So stay patient in perseverance
And know every phase has a reason to be
Learn to forgive and let go
And as all is meant to be well once again.
Writing is often a very cathartic experience.
Sometimes people unknowningly say things that hurt or upset another.
Today was one of those days. I chanced upon one of my old poems on letting go in forgiveness and it made much sense. I was able to move beyond simply by acknowledging the truth in those verses.
I simply had to share…

Life colours itself the way we choose to see it.
What we focus on, finds us.
Choose to focus on the good
Life begins to feel good.
Between the many colours
Of life’s journey…
What do you choose to focus on?

Try to make at least one person happy every day. If you cannot do a kind deed, speak a kind word. If you cannot speak a kind word, think a kind thought.

Count up, if you can, the treasure of happiness that you would dispense in a week, in a year, in a lifetime!
Lawrence G. Lovasik
Loved the message in the quote…Build a treasure of happiness.

Ever Grateful for a powerful caption that once caught my eye
“Don’t bite more than you can chew….”
Denotes the wisdom of moderation in life and living. To know a cut off point
Is to know where to draw the line between exhaustion and excitement.
Simply taking on more work or responsibility or trying to multitasking beyond your abilities and capacities is self defeating.
So only commit to what you truly can deliver .
Not less not more.
So grateful to have read this many years ago and consistently practice this learning.
Happy to share this piece of advice that is my mindful reminder before taking on more.

There is great wisdom
In the bridge of learning
Every move in our life
Is a prequel in the journey
Of living life in every now
A journey of learning
Has many moves
From exploration to action
From action to understanding
We learn from mistakes
From our own foibles
As much as others
There is a great many steps
To bridge the journey
Of our learnings in the living.
How much wisdom we imbibe
Is all in our intention
To apply the learnings
From our experiences
And understand some more.

It’s easy to get caught up in seeking validation and approval from others, but the truth is that the only person you truly need to impress is yourself.
You are enough, just as you are, and your worth doesn’t depend on the opinions or actions of others. When you recognize your own value and believe in yourself, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
Learning to be comfortable in your own skin and trusting in your own abilities can take time, but it’s a journey worth taking.
When you focus on cultivating a positive relationship with yourself, you’ll find that you’re happier, more confident, and better equipped to handle life’s challenges. Remember, you don’t need anyone else’s approval or validation to be happy and fulfilled. You are enough, simply by existing as you are.
It’s common to fall into the trap of seeking validation and approval from others, but the reality is that your self-worth isn’t dependent on the opinions or actions of others. You are enough, and improving yourself from where you are, is the only thing that truly matters. By recognizing your own value and having faith in yourself, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
Developing a positive relationship with yourself and being comfortable with who you are takes time, but it’s a worthwhile journey.
By prioritizing your own well-being and self-belief, you’ll discover a greater sense of happiness, confidence, and resilience.
Remember that your happiness and fulfillment don’t require external validation or approval.
You are enough simply by being you.

Sometimes you sense
Life taking you to places
Leading you to pathways Moving towards you.
Sometimes you notice
Signs that speak to you
Appearing and disappearing. From anywhere to nowhere.
It’s for you to understand
The significance of the signs
Now is the time to free your mind,
To listen in keen awareness,
And trust in the Universe There is always a reason
Nothing is coincidental.

“To listen entails a fundamental letting go of self-centeredness. We have to be willing to put down our own thoughts, views, and feelings temporarily to truly listen.”
Oren Jay Sofer
Power of listening
Is in self control
In hearing to understand
The when, what, where, who & how
In curiousity patience and wonder
In caring to empathise
And connect without interrupting.
In knowing to balance the spoken words
By truly caring to hear with all of you…
Relationships heal in the listening.

A flower doesn’t stop being beautiful just because somebody walks by without noticing it, nor does it cease to be fragrant if its scent is taken for granted. The flower just continues to be its glorious self: elegant, graceful, and magnificent.
Our Mother Nature has provided us with these immeasurably valuable teachers that blossom despite their short lifespan, stars that continue to shine even if we fail to stare at them, and trees that don’t take it personally if we never bow down in gratitude for the oxygen they provide.
We also have an incredible and unlimited capacity to love, but the question is: Can we do it like a flower? Without needing to be admired, adored, or even noticed? Can we open our hearts completely to give, forgive, celebrate, and joyfully live our lives without hesitation or need for reciprocity?
It seems like sometimes we go beyond taking things personally and are noticeably deflated when unappreciated. In fact, devastated, we wilt in sorrow and then attempt to guard ourselves by withholding, using all sorts of protections and defenses. We get hurt (even angry) if our boss fails to recognize an astonishing feat, if a lover pulls their hand away, or when a friend forgets our birthday. Can you imagine a flower copping an attitude for not being praised, or the moon dimming its glow because we’re too self-absorbed to notice it more often?
Make an effort to shine NO MATTER WHAT, to love unconditionally, and to be a kind and gentle soul (even when nobody is watching).
And, if you’re so inclined, hug the next tree you see and say, “Thank you!”
