When the odds stack high, . When our visions are not far enough, When the road ahead seems blocked, When we are at our wits’ end When we are at cross with destiny It shakes hand with us. As it has planned ahead A reciprocal arrangement That opens a new path, A new vision appears. Nothing ends, A new beginning starts. Hope is here to stay.
Happened to read a profound quote share of Lao Tzu, from The Tao Teh Ching by my wonderful blogger friend Eddie Two Hawks here https://wp.me/p16fFF-6Ic
Here is my contemplation based on the quote
Close the doors.. Of the chaos of thoughts Of unnecessary judgements in the making Close the doors… Consciously in the noticing In mindfulness than mindlessness & overthinking. This is the truth of meditation In all its simplicity And in all its profoundness.
When you look at other people through a lens of compassion and understanding rather than judgment and jealousy, you are better able to see them for what they are—human beings.” ~ Unknown
The way we see the world Changes our experiences Lesser expectations Greater contentment Lesser assumptions & doubt Greater trustfulness Lesser hopelessness Greater possibility Lesser the complexity Greater the clarity.
Sometimes it takes lifetimes To learn and unlearn To do and undo To birth and unbirth To live and relive Moving forward in time Through and beyond The karmic cycles Of many a rebirths To find eternal bliss
When you arrive at being comfortable At ease no matter the seeking and the knowing At peace no matter the circumstances In equanimity in the wisdom of the interconnects You are awakening yourself… To the profoundness of you. In the subtlety of consciousness Resides the truth of it all.
It takes but one positive thought when given a chance to survive and thrive to overpower an entire army of negative thoughts. Robert H. Schuller
One positive thought The power of positive Adds life to the years Firms up the faith Heals with hope Brings trust in time Makes us believe again. So much to live for Than simply languish. Such is the power of positive thinking…
Steer your life for the better Think a positive thought
Well here is mine I think today is a beautiful day
Meditation can help us embrace our worries, our fear, our anger; and that is very healing. We let our own natural capacity of healing do the work. Thich Nhat Hanh
Perhaps often we need reminders Of our own potential strengths The capacity to heal from within That we understand so little of.
Perhaps we haven’t yet explored The depth of the gift of life we have To understand the possibilities Of the infinite abundance within us.
Perhaps we need to seek & connect To our core being to heal ourselves Trusting our body and mind To learn and unlearn the paths To thrive than just survive.
The art of meditation is a catalyst for growth and change for the better. Where thoughts become still in practice when human differences are welcome and perspectives are valued.
We allow ourselves to have patience and support, to be as we are, in witness mode flowing through life’s many moments in equanimity.
We begin to understand & develop resilience from within, to not be jarred in the rough times and acknowledge the truth our own being.
Would like to extend an invite to a group called Connected that I have created on Insight Timer a beautiful space for meditation.
The art is of meditation has many forms of meditation. And each has its own set of practitioners. The regular practice of meditation is significant for our holistic wellbeing. However like every habit it needs an intention and discipline and in time it become an awareness in flow.
In the journey of life, love appears, it shows many faces…
Love is matter of perspective. It can pick the color of one’s mood.
It can make us generous. It can make us selfless. It can make us strong. It can protect. It can bind us It can make us happy & can bring us bliss and blessings. It can do magic and wonders. It can make us feel light.
Another face of love
It can be possessive. It can make us jealous. It can make us angry. It can make us weak It can hide the loved one’s faults. It can blind us It can make us vengeful. The extreme negative expression of love is hatred.
Choosing it positive or the other way is in our hands. Which face do you want to choose ?
Divine love can make you see light. Embodying this light, keep the journey on. The path will be illuminated. The journey will be a blessing. Keep the love and light in your heart, To make this journey pleasant .
Ask me whatever you want. Ten people asked their desires
First one Countless money & a big business to run
2nd one
The most powerful position in the world
3rd one I need fame & fortune like a topmost world famous actor
4th I have to become the most beautiful person that the whole world becomes mad after me
Like this each of the nine people asked their desires which God gave them immediately.
The tenth person asked I want the most contented , peaceful & blissful stage which a man can achieve.
The rest of the 9 looked at him laughing.
Peace of mind, contented heart.
For that only we asked whatever we wanted . When we get whatever we wanted peace & contentment will follow.
God looked at them and said I’ve given whatever you all wanted. Now you all can go.
The He turned towards the tenth person and said, ‘you wait here. I need to talk to you. I’ll come after some time. ‘ He left.
Now the rest of the 9 hesitated & stayed back so anxious to know what God is going to give him.
In spite of getting whatever they wanted they became jealous over the man who has not got anything till then.
As time passed, their anxiety grew & they forgot to enjoy what they have got. There went their peace & happiness.
The tenth man waited patiently. He became so peaceful & content that God is coming to talk with him.
Who are we. The tenth person or the rest . Decide.
Our thoughts decide who we are.
Translation from a Tamil social media share by my mother Anjana.
Have shared my artwork here for I felt it was apt for the story above, in depicting the 10th man who is at bliss and peace in the merging of thoughts in divine consciousness.
