As a life coach my experiences over the years with my clients comes with many learnings. As each life is unique and so are their circumstances. To get any further into coaching it’s important to understand where they are and for them to acknowledge it
Creating a safe space is a prerequisite.
There is a simple yet empowering and activity that can be used… Its called ‘What makes my heart sing? It is a powerful exploration into what brings them joy and fulfilment, it helps create safe and supportive and active listening space by building trust It’s quite simple to facilitate Begin with introduction to explain the activity. Ask them to reflect on life moments, they felt in a flow state or felt truly alive_and iovful.
Then as a life coach you help facilitate how these experiences are interconnected to their values and discuss how they can begin to incorporate more of this into their lives And finally also help them create an action plan towards the same.
Thoughts, make an impactful difference. Choosing to think positively makes dealing with transitions, and adapting to the changes easier If you experience unexpected challenging changes in your career. It’s good to acknowledge three things One, that it is a new opportunity for new learnings Welcome the possibilities. Two, you can begin to apply your unique combination of skills and knowledge from your previous experiences and bring a fresh perspective wherever you are. Explore your potential.
Three, that if things seem difficult at first, you are paving the road to resilience. Keep the faith and stay patient .Times change. Persevere When you think of life in plusses, every turn becomes a beautiful path..
Nature is magnificence Teaching great lessons in humility. Nature is amazing grace As she holds within The truths of the universe The secret of the stars As well as the sounds of silence She is a dance in the stillness Nature is flow and flow is nature Nature is life. And life flows…
I gave myself permission to feel and experience all of my emotions. In order to do that, I had to stop being afraid to feel. In order to do that, I taught myself to believe that no matter what I felt or what happened when I felt it, I would be okay. Iyanla Vanzant
I love this powerful quote. It speaks to me of the strength within. Of valuing every emotion and it’s expression for what it is.
And most of all the strength of self belief in self assurance that all is well no matter what happens. It helps to be in touch with your feelings and make it your friend.
Whatever you feel is a way of channelizing your emotions. It heals you through expressions. It helps to acknowledge your emotions.
As you understand your emotions and feelings you become more self aware in life’s situations. It gives you the necessary strength and intelligence to tide through the rough times.
When your self-belief is strong, and faith is deep, nothing can rock your boat.
The paper is where it is On it the pen moves Driven by the hand The fingers of writer Holding the pen Waltzing on paper Shaping thoughts In a flow all its own. And the soul & spirit Of the writer imprints For eternity…
A writers soul emerges through the words written . A painters soul emanates from between the colours in the canvas The potters soul is afire in the fingers shaping the clay. The singers soul breathes in the sounds created by the voice. The dancers soul flows through in every movement in the moments.
The Soul is a restless wanderer It breathes free not in captivity, But in every movement of creation. It cannot be fathomed or even sensed Other than in the light of passion in the being. For then the soul shines in its own light For it has found its purpose of being.
You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you, And making you Spill your coffee everywhere. Why did you spill the coffee? You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea. The point is whatever is inside the cup, is what will spill out. Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which will happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It’s easy to fake it, until you get rattled. So, we have to ask ourselves, “What’s my cup?”
When life gets tough, what spills out? Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility? Or does anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions come out?
You choose! Today let’s work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, kindness gentleness and love for others.
Good Reminder for one and all. In making conscious choices. Filling my cup with gratitude Sensing joy and love Choosing forgiveness Expressions in gentleness And affirming in kindness For my choices matter... To me & the world around me. Savvy
