Remember the five simple rules to be able to thrive in life
1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.
Like the five petals of the flower are connected but they bloom freely in their own way in all their simplicity expecting nothing back but giving so much beauty to the world.
Once, a Junior School teacher asked her students to bring some potatoes in a plastic bag to school. Each potato will be given a name of the person whom that child hates. Like this, the number of potatoes will be equal to the number of persons they hate.
On a decided day, the children brought their potatoes well addressed. Some had two, some had three and some had even five potatoes.
The teacher said they have to carry these potatoes with them everywhere they go for a week.
As the days passed the children started to complain about the spoiled smell that started coming from these potatoes. Also some students who had many potatoes complained that it was very heavy to carry them all around. The children got rid of this assignment after a week, when it got over.
The teacher asked, “How did you feel in this one week?”
The children discussed their problems about the smell and weight.
Then the teacher said, “This situation is very similar to what you carry in your heart when you don’t like some people. This hatred makes your heart unhealthy and you carry that hatred in your heart everywhere you go. If you can’t bear the smell of spoiled potatoes for a week, imagine the impact on your heart of this hatred that you carry throughout your life.”
Our heart is a beautiful garden that needs a regular cleaning of unwanted weeds. Forgive those who have not behaved with you as expected and forget the bad things.
This also makes room available for storing good things…
What an impactful way to mentor...
Stories that touch the inner recesses of our hearts can truly leave us positively inspired in the reflections.
This story means so much and is truly relevant to one and all. The world today needs compassion and love more than ever. It needs to get rid of unwanted accumulation of past years both material or our mental manifestations.
All of life
Exists in nature
And nature in life
Our life is on standstill.
Earth needs us
As much as we need it
Time to introspect
And understand
What can be done!
To nurture any life
We need to understand
What it really needs.
A flower needs water
And sunshine
To blossom.
In the understanding
Is the empathic realization
Of what is the need of the now.
This kind of perspective
Is the crucial knowledge
That can help transform lives.
Nature thrives in nurture!
Let’s take care of it with empathy.
Let’s help nurture it back to health.

Sharing a thought provoking read I came across today.
*Die empty*
The most beautiful book to read is “Die Empty” by Todd Henry.
The author was inspired and got this idea of writing this book while attending a business meeting.
When the director asked the audience: “Where is the richest land in the world?”
One of the audience answered: “Oil-rich Gulf states.”
Another added: “Diamond mines in Africa.”
Then the director said: “No it is the cemetery. Yes, it is the richest land in the world, because millions of people have departed/died and they carried many valuable ideas that did not come to light nor benefit others. It is all in the cemetery where they are buried.”
Inspired by this answer, Todd Henry wrote his book, “Die empty” where he did his best to motivate people to pour out their ideas and potential energies in their communities and turn them into something useful before it is too late.
The most beautiful of what he said in his book is: “Do not go to your grave and carry inside you the best that you have.
*Always choose to die empty.*
The TRUE meaning of this expression, is to die empty of all the goodness that is within you. Deliver it to the world, before you leave.
If you have an idea perform it.
If you have knowledge give it out.
If you have a goal achieve it.
Love, share and distribute, do not keep it inside.
Let’s begin to give. Remove and spread every atom of goodness inside us.
Start the race.
*Die Empty*😊💐
I choose to share this because who knows how it may touch another’s life.
There is much wisdom in choosing to give out as we live life .
There is an expansion
In heart fields
There is energy
Of love & goodwill
Radiating across the world
As we speak
There is a newfound camaraderie
Bonds of friendship & connection
Beyond the walls of isolation
Beyond the fear there is hope.
There is a realization
Of indifference and oversight
And awareness
Of the repercussions.
Soon the world will heal
And recover itself
Such is the law of nature
But hoping for the world
To continue this journey
Of new awakenings
And persevere to preserve
These understandings in the uncertainty
The pristineness of the serenity.
The wisdom from the challenges
Hope it continues to transform
Our world for the better.
Keep the Spring in your heart
Then no Winters are too harsh
Or Summers too hot to handle
As Seasons change around you
You sense it all from the hope of your heart.
And hope springs forth eternally…
Here is a beautiful video that came by , shared by my friend Ashok Subharao
Although it is in Tamil , the gist is relevant to keeping the Spring in our hearts.
Love
Be in love
Be alive to life
For life moves in time
The Circle of life is a given
Only you can make this now matter well
Feed the soul, with all your heart.
Be in this moment ,feel light.
Think well live happy
Feel the love,
Love life
Live
Another video clip that came by shared by my friend Christoph, while writing the above words in this format specifically, with an idea to use words symbolically to capture the essence of the circle of life, this also feels apt to share here.
It speaks of the circle of life and the essence of letting go.
This is so important for living life well.
The lesser the baggage you carry in your head and heart the lighter you feel and freer you are!
For what matters is what you make of the now…
Let the seasons change around you
As you engage with this moment.
Live life lovingly!
There is much wisdom in integration, in finding meaning in the divergences.
What a poet relates to the truth in humanity.
What a scientist relates with theories of relativity
Are all drawn from the same well,
Of cosmic vibrations,
Of conscious awareness,
Of the eternal truths of life.
Where wisdom flows
There is Universal consciousness
Savvy
Here is a beautiful conversation I came across between the great minds, of Albert Einstein and Rabindranath Tagore…..when the two met and spoke at length.
Do take time to read this interesting dialogue between them in this article link below.
