Travel On…

I wrote this poem back in time after an unexpected opportunity to travel set me off across exploring unforgettable places and spaces on my own.

Yesterday as I was conversing with one of my earlier dance student and friend now, he somehow reminded me of this poem again , as he  has been traveling the length and breadth of India on a bike, covering over 80% of India.

While I wait to see his photo shares and hear more from him about his experience in the journey.

Thought of sharing my verses  again.

Travel On

If you are given an opportunity to take a journey

Take it, for you meet many versions of you.

Along the road.

Some you cherish, some cherish you.

Some that change you and some that you change.

Fear not the travel or the traveling…

For one thing is certain

You come away enriched and wiser in every journey.

Travel to liberate yourself
From self assumed notions
To see the light on the other side
There is much to unlearn and unbox
As you travel yield in to the insights
Travel every once in a while if opportunity arises,

Take the chance,
You are richer in your explorations much as your experiences.

Colour me Orange


What feelings do you associate with the colour orange?

For me it’s an auspicious color of  Optimism and enthusiasm.
Warm and welcoming
Energizing & radiant
Like a new dawn.

From the yellow orange
To the reddish orange
The tints and shades
Make a world of difference.

Thinking of an orange sun
Rising and setting
Marking day and night
But always hopegiving.

Truly life is how you live it.

It truly is starkly different

The way we feel dark and dense in scarcity consciousness

The way we feel lightness of being in sensing abundance.

From ashes, to rising like a phoenix,

The power of hope changes destiny.


Limitless is the power of positive thoughts.

Thoughts of abundance opens up ways to explore more.
In moments of despair, it truly is about flipping the script in our heads to sense possibilities in the limitless potential.

Unending is the power of hope.
After all…
Day unto night
Dark unto light. 
Hope is here to stay!

Order to disorder

Chaos to resurrection

Stillness & movements

Balance & harmony

Time , space & distance

All is a matter of energy.

The observer effects the observed.

All of life, the sun & the stars

The universe you are in

You are because they are

They are because you are.

Understand as an observer

You are playing a part

What you do with it

Is a choice in free will

The choice is with you.

Time has all the answers

Morning Musings

How beautiful  it would  be
If good deeds prevailed in practice.
If altruistic ways can become  a norm
A way of life and living
If  healthy collaboration became a driving  force.
Yet…
Any change is never easy.

To change anything
It has to permeate the psyche
Of the mind in acceptance.
Then there is transformation.


Nothing lasting happens by force
For force gives way to another mightier force in time
Trust time in patience & perseverance.

Everything  happens in time.
Time shows the way
As time has all the answers.

Belief is an act of invoking wisdom.

Life

All of creation has a purpose to its being.

It charts its course towards it.

If we are able to understand the reason for life is to be…

As it is meant to be
We will be more tolerant and inclusive
We will think before we speak
We will choose to see the good and nurture the good.
What we choose to notice life presents itself in many ways
As the way we choose to see the world
The world mirrors itself to us.

See the world with wonder and awe
Choose to respect and be responsible
Cultivate a sense of respect gratitude.
For the infinite abundance called life!

Eloquence of words

When words propose in a flow
That is persuading and all pervading
No matter the rhyme or form
It becomes poetry
Creating a zen like feeling
That makes you want to be
In that state of awareness
Inspite of knowing
Everything moves on…

Have you ever been enticed by the eloquence of words?

Personally I have many favorites

Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself.
