To start the day with the beautiful light of nature where ever I am, I know, I carry it in my heart , as it glows from my heart. Its my simple secret in the acknowledgement, that I want the older me to remember.
Compassion towards the self is a critically necessary part of self acceptance and acknowledgement through self-expression, channeling and releasing emotions constructively.
A note in gratitude to the self.
Every me that lived and loved Every me that lost and gained Every me that helped & healed Every me that fumbled & failed Every me that connected & cared Every me that was tried & tested Every me that trusted & trained Every me that learned & learns Every me in every movement Every me of my past to present I love with all my heart In compassion & kindness. I am grateful to all of me Of the past present & future being all that was,is, and will be.
As I explore I discover As I perceive I sense As I pray I ease As I seek I find As I write I express As I sing I channel As I dance I heal As I read I learn I am eternally grateful For all these learnings That happen, all in good time.
Here is a guided meditation for cultivating compassion in thoughts words & deeds.
Take a few moments to ease in and breathe genttly in a quiet space.
In awareness calmly sense the natural rhythm of your own breath.
Think of someone you know who is kind and imagine the warmth that radiates from your heart towards them and extend the very same energy to someone who is challenged by it.
In every inhale, welcome peace in silence and likewise in every exhale release the unnecessary. Inhale faith and exhale doubt.
Every positive compassion filled thought reshaped the internal narrative and the world around us.
Sense the moments integrating in empathy in compassionate connection & possibility.
Incorporating such conscious and intentional practices embodies compassion into our spheres of influence in and around us through thoughts, words & deeds
Do share your reflections on what it means to be connected in the world today. Let’s spark the movement towards cultivating global compassion.
Our own struggles seem the most difficult. Our journey of life may seem unique to us.And yet if we bring to awareness that this imagined spectrum of universe is a dot in the multitude of multiverses yet unknown, we realise our so called egoes are but a tool for motivating our life to keep us exploring the possibilities in our lifetime.
But instead of seeing the bigger picture we see ourselves as mammoth beings & as if only our life and our journey is important.
How far away from the truth we are?
If we only keep seeing our circle of life is but a spec in the cosmic ocean we will realize our truths as humans and learn to be in touch with our humanity.
It is of practical value to learn to like yourself. Since you must spend so much time with yourself you might as well get some satisfaction out of the relationship.
It makes a world of difference in a ‘ever busy world’ that’s always checking time. Giving time and energy to understand another with empathy will help shift perspectives for the better.
