Discipline

Discipline may come from education.

But the ability to stay on path is a habit

Education may steer us to discipline.

But discipline takes dedication.

To adhere to the path on you own.

What do you think?

Dedicated to Batchmates.

It doesn’t matter if its the Army Navy or Airforce once in the forces you are always ready with a Salute!

You can take a man out of the army

But can not take the army out of him!

Humour in Uniform indeed!

Sharing a fun forward that came my way!

One day a Colonel from the Army, fell into a well. The soldiers would throw a rope into the well and pull the Colonel out. The moment the Colonel would come up, the soldiers would leave the rope snap to attention and salute. The Colonel would fall back into the well. This happened many times.

Someone suggested that a Brigadier be requested for help-because HE wouldn’t have to salute the Colonel. So one Brigadier arrived. He threw the rope into the well and the Colonel grabbed it. The Brigadier began pulling the rope. As soon as the Colonel reached the top of the well, he spotted the Brigadier. He immediately left the rope and saluted. And he fell back once more, into the well.
There was total silence. Then everyone heard the desperate Colonel’s voice from down below
*”You idiots – get hold of a batch mate !!”*
MORAL OF THE STORY: Batchmates ARE important ! They can save your life!
(Dedicated to all batchmates)

The Slow Roast

The Slow Roast…need for stringent action!

There is a good amount of data emerging that people are suffering, to various degrees, from living next to cell phone towers and other high-frequency radiation emitting antennas, which emit microwaves around the clock. According to Professor Franz Adelkofer, a leading scientist in the area of biological effects of EMF fields: “There is real evidence that hyper frequency electromagnetic fields can have geno-toxic effects. And this damaged DNA is always the cause of cancer. We’ve found these damaging effects on the genes at levels well below the safety limits. That’s why we think it’s urgent to base our safety limits on the biological effects, not the thermic ones. They should be based on biology, not on physics.” Yes and I certainly believe that awareness is the key! For instance ‘experts say mobile phone towers emit microwaves at a frequency of 1900 MHz. Recent studies have shown that the intense radioactivity from mobile phone towers adversely impacts every biological organism within one sq km. According to the Bioinitiative 2012 report, brought out by 29 independent scientists and health experts from across 10 countries, India’s radiation emission limit – 450 milliwatts per sq mt – was too high. The report said exposure to high levels of radiation can lead to headaches, concentration and behavioral problems in children, and sleep disturbances. ‘

As health is our greatest asset as a nation, there is certainly a great need to revise the policies and reduce the permissible emission limits in today’s times to improve our defenses against electronic stress.

What are your thoughts on how we can find a comprehensive solution to the invisible yet dangerous sources of radiation… Pls share.

Take A Step

Take a Step..

To start is is most difficult
The first step is often a challenge
And then some more
Follows through
And suddenly it appears
A pathway
A breakthrough
A perspective to aspire
And a renewed focus develops
Towards a goal.

So take the step
The first step
Start even if its a single step
Keep it simple
And in no time
You will have started on a journey
Towards your purpose of being.

After all
Success too is a series of steps
That starts with taking a step.

Common sense

Common sense

In life and living simply knowing when to say, share, pause, or even stop is an art of mindful living.
Just as you may know to seize an opportunity. Sometimes even good relationships are lost because of sharing unsolicited advice & information.
So it is important to see subtle indifference to glaring signs of disinterest and change this way of dealing with people especially with customers.

Pesky Habit of Pushing Forwards.

On the subject of Forwards especially through WhatsApp, all of us may have been having this kind of meaningless forwards come our way from acquaintances. Some of them sharing every kind of isms there is! So here are words that need to be said. From a customer
To all who share endless forwards
A checkpoint in goodwill.
Every WhatsApp forward can be disturbing or distracting for another no matter the content.
Please remember to think twice before polluting an already crowded cyberspace.
There is enough knowledge out there to find if one wants to, anything at all!
In business, sometimes clients are lost because of these unsolicited shares. If you find that a client is not responding to your share by acknowledging it, then please discontinue bombarding them with your forwards every day.
Perhaps it will help save you a client. 😇Instead, how about being creative and enterprising instead? Why not write a blog, express and share your heart away. Those who identify will always check in. And you would be only happier for you will feel it’s worth your while.
At least you will have it all together in one place.

Have you had experiences of endless forwards coming your way?
How do you manage it?
Do you feel overwhelmed or even delete it without opening it?
Do you feel bombarded with all kinds of unsolicited forwards every time? Do share your views on this.
