Has the fire died in me?
I ask, looking at the mirror
The mirror answered
Look again dear,
Perhaps you have missed
The simmering coal in your gaze
Like molten magma…
Perhaps tears you cried
haven’t dried as yet
Misting the view.
Am just a mirror dear
A reflection at best
But even a mirror cannot miss
The smoldering eyes of passion
The demeanor that speaks
Of resilience no matter
The ravages of time.
Yet the warrior in you burning bright.
The scars etched on your face
Are a testament of times
Of standing tall in adversity
As the storms passed by.
You ask, “Is the fire in you gone “
I say, I see them in all of you …
In your face and stance.
In all of your body, spirit and soul.
Speaking with all of you.
The fight is not over
As the day is not done.
I saw this line ‘the fire has died ‘ and I was inspired to write this poem.
Your thoughts are welcome .

Sense the limitless in you
Know you are meant to be
Express with all of you

Every moment is a cornucopia of sensing Fleeting thoughts in the making Feelings and emotions reveal themselves. Between action and inaction And in the stillness in between Like the ebb and flow on the tides While at times amplifying & complicating situations By tilting the tuning of the body and mind. Sometimes overpowering almost self […]
Paradox of Emotions

As humans we are always exploring and discovering possibilities. Sometimes we understand much in no time, and take the right steps, and at other times we mis the bus.
Acknowledge the wins & the misses.
Every step missed is brimming with a lesson.
If we choose to pay attention every failure teaches us something.
On where we want to be,
On how far we are, from where we want to go.
Question is are we ready to acknowledge failure as a part of the learning process?
Every success can be attributed to the many experiences that may have had many lessons and the effort taken to succeed.
And if there is propensity and determination to take the effort, there are many pathways that lead us beyond failure.
I like this saying by Mary Ash, I came across recently which presents a fresh perspective on failure.
‘For every failure, there’s an alternative course of action. You just have to find it. When you come to a roadblock, take a detour.’
Acknowledge where and how you are.
You will find your own path.

So you are angry?
Now what?
Do you think it is helping you ?
For anger never helps
It only hurts .
Here are six things you can do for balancing your emotions and feeling better.
1.Become Aware that you are reacting than responding in your anger is the first step
2.Counting backwards from 20 to 1.
3. Removing yourself from the place you are feeling angry even for a short while by going for a short walk helps settle your emotions.
4. Switch words is a technique to use feeling oriented words to create powerful change of emotions with imagery to manage anger.
For example a positive word like Happy can evoke different feelings.
Or words like ‘take it easy ‘can evoke a sense of ease.
5. Better still is taking to chanting mantras, or hearing your favorite upbeat music , or even Journaling.
6. If nothing else imagining ocean tides in a flow and breathing deeply, in and out even for a few minutes eases the tense body & mind.
Remember to acknowledge your emotions as there is more harm in suppression. As you find healthy pathways to manage your anger, you bring wellbeing into your life
Live life lovingly💙

Let me always see the good
Let me remember the good
Let me always be grateful
In your omnipresence.
Let the moments be full of joy
As its you who knows who today
Is needing these wishes to be true.
May there be unexpected blessings
May every now be full of joy,
prosperity and peace.🙏

An interesting quote on relationships I read this morning…
The relationship between commitment and doubt is by no means an antagonistic one. Commitment is healthiest when it’s not without doubt but in spite of doubt.
Rollo May
As I reflected on the above words a few thoughts came to me…
On life and relationships
Is there an interplay of doubt and commitment?
Is there commitment when in doubt?
What happens when doubt creeps in the committed?
Whenever they intersect there are conflicts
Whether at opposition or not
Both are in thoughts
Dashing from one extreme to another
At times contradicting at times rationalising
And returning back to apparent normalcy
When doubt dances in, commitment feels the burn
When commitment is strong, doubt rests on the back burner.
Have always felt there needs to be trust in a relationship as much as compromise else even the strongest of relationships fall apart.
What are your thoughts ? Do share.

I love to come back to these lines often. I think it sums up all of life and living
What do you think ?

To swim and surface
Is daring the waves.
Like any ocean surfer knows
We are all equal before a wave.
While you may not be able to control everything
And learning curve may be steep
You adapt to ride the waves.
For waves are a part of the flow
In the cycle of life.
A wise leader knows
the highs and lows
Are part of the same flow.

If ever you are in a position where you are hurt and helpless and want to help yourself out of this situation check on your own behavior
Are you speaking and sharing more than you should?
Are you over explaining and try to match up to anothers expectations and not valuing your own strengths?
Are you defending yourself when the other person refuses to understand anothers perspective?
Are you too sensitive and taking things personally when actually the source of the issues or the problem is not you at all?
Often it is self awareness that is the first step towards bettering your life.
A self check to see your reactions is definitely a way to improving how you handle and manage difficult people in life.
Tbe way to make life favorable to you , is in living as if all is rigged in your favor.

Strength in the Interconnects
All is one
One is all
Such is truth of interconnects
And in the sublime consciousness
All is in the divinity of oneness.

As life can be truly challenging
We all have worried about it
Yet worries don’t change things
Acting on the issues does.
So instead of worrying today
Whenever you begin to worry
Can you thank your worry
For trying to be helpful ?
And remember to make it a habit.
If you realise you are worrying
Work on worry everytime
Thank it again & again.
It is simple to do yet impactful.
Sometimes as perspectives shift
Solutions, find space to emerge.

Life is like that
Fragile and fragmented
There is much left unsaid undone
There is much left incomplete
For we are not perfect beings
Fragility is a truth of our life
But life continues ….
However much we may think we have given our best
There is always an expectation
Some how somewhere
That is yet left unfulfilled
There is always something more
That we need to have done.
A battle we need to have fought
A voice we should have raised
A devil we need to have dared
And annihilated
It happens in one way or another.
But we can only learn
By living our life forward
And while unfortunately we cannot go and undo all the past
We certainly can empower ourself
To rise no matter the storms .
And right the wrongs in time.
Leaving the world a little better than before .
I wrote this as a heartfelt offering of support and encouragement in hope to those going through or remembering a traumatic past.
While life is fragile
Hope is here to stay .

Things happen, and just when it all feels dark, there is a crack…
Where light enters in hope!

There is always a reason why, nothing is accidental. The cracks are where light shines through , like the crack of dawn. And the sooner in time, in the tiniest cracks, whenever the ego shatters to transform itself in humility, all resets in transcendence to begin again, renewed in purpose.
Such is the nature of life & living.
All is well in hope.
